I love colour, I just have such a hard time working with flat images, lmao. I guess I can't complain though, it takes me out of my comfort zone, and adds variety. Strangely enough, I'm not hating as much on this theme as I would've a few weeks ago. I'm actually looking forward to making my entries.

Remember guys, collaborations for signature of the week are allowed! (Just throwing that out there - I myself am not available to take on that dedication atm)!!

I am, anime is my main area.... sooo I'm defo entering, thinking of trying out vectors
 
An anime theme ahh. Was bound to come sooner or later :D Its not that i find anime sigs hard to make or difficult. Above everything i find them boring. Flat images dont really jump out at me and make me wanna do anything with them. I feel limited with what i can do. I knew however this theme would come up and i have 2 ideas in mind/

option 1 was to not compete

option 2 make a special anime sig unlike anything that has been seen before on FFF

option 3 only applies if i fail number 2. I i cant make a brilliant anime sig il make a more generic one. Either way im all ready to win this callout!

Although its most likely the sig will be on the crappy side and il lose.

Started my entry about an hour ago. About halfway done. I quite like it though its not anything great its just a normal sig. Nothing new but i quite like it :hmmm:
 
Right then, guys. SOTW - Anime's due date is today. (Or you might have a few more hours depending on Jay's time.) So get working on those ASAP if you haven't already :D!

I've updated the second post! Remember, this thread can also be used for suggesting themes. Do you really wanna see a theme come up? @ one of the moderators and they'll get to it! Make sure to encourage others to compete as well, because... the more entries, the more competition... the more fun!

I'm very proud of last week's turn out. I hope this week will have enough entries as well, and that the guidelines for upcoming week will motivate you all as well. :D

Guidelines are already up for the new week - I figured since we did Female Game Characters before that, we can do Male Game Characters now. I went with a non obvious one this time. Pretty happy with my entry.

How about a GFX competition?

Doesnt have to be a big thing but we could gather numbers of whos gunna enter and plan something. Id be happy to help with it if need be. It could be a voting thread for all forum members. Clan members only. Or you assign a few judges, not too many or we wont have as many participants. No more than 3? Then you rate a sig on how close it is to the theme and how it looks overall. Or just a simple post vote of which you like better.
Might be a good way to kick start more motivation ya know? A little competitiveness gets people fired up.
 
@Big Casino, since the subforums changed, the admins gotta add them manually, gave Tia a heads up a few days ago, (Jay did) I think they were unaware of the changes. It'll be done soon. HoF will be updated as well.
