SOTW 30 voting thread is up, the guidelines thread shall go up shortly, but I need the help of 3 other staff members first.

Let me guess... It's gonna be a very different competition. maybe a wallpaper or something. am I right?
 
nah, if it was a wallpaper then it wouldn't make sense for it to be in SOTW. :wacky:
 
No, guidelines are currently being worked out at the moment.
 
Do they have to be done on the computer with a program or could I draw a border and draw my own signature and then size it?
 
Theme - SE Games - EXCLUDING Final Fantasy - Dragon Quest, Star Ocean, Valkyrie Profile, etc.
Rules: Animation and transparency are allowed. Must fit within forum rules and sig limits, etc....

Please name all the excluded games, the ETC part makes it unclear.
Or atleast name the games we can use

Some people may be disappointed with my entry though, I really didn't focus on capturing Roxas, and had a go with distorting C4Ds, depth and my lighting. I really liked the lighting and the C4D disrtortion, though the depth isn't too much to be excited about.:D

Also, if you're wondering, the tag I'm talking about isn't in my signature.

I always miss this competition, I tend to forget about this whole STOW until the day is too late for me to do anything worth the shot.

I'll try to participate next week. On a side note, when will the rules for next week's SOTW will be ready? I need to know what I am allowed to do.
 
Alright, for those of you that don't know what the Tales of series is, which is the theme for next SOTW, check Wikipedia.

Make sure you don't grab something from games that aren't marked by Nacmo/bandai that are named Tales of. If you have any trouble with clarifying that the object/character you're using is from a Namco/bandai game or not, ask me personally. :elmo:

'Tales of' should be interesting considering I can't make anything good with anime in it >_<
But, you never know, could learn a thing or two.

Anyway, L / Gohan will be taking all entries next week, and I'll do the next SOTW after this one - so from now on Derek and I will be running SOTW on alternate weeks =]
