SOTW sig buttons

Hello GFXers!

I had an idea just the other day that I ran by @Six earlier today to make buttons (much like the one in my sig) for Signature of the Week to place in our sigs as a link to attract voting. The general idea is that many people who visit this forum don't look at the shout box and therefor don't see the link in the shoutbox sticky. Many of us post elsewhere, I spend a fair bit of time in the final fantasy section, I've seen some of us post in costa del sol, etc.

Placing the buttons in our signatures opens the interest for others to see these buttons. It might not bring too much attention, however I have noticed a strong lack of votes, particularly from people that don't do GFX.

I realized earlier that being someone who can recognize some techniques and styles are more difficult, my vote gets swayed in that direction, where someone ignorant to GFX would be looking at the image as just a signature.

It would also be a fun project to make buttons, I will be whipping up a few of my own, but it would be nice to see others. I will edit it any entries sorted by maker into this post if others are made.

I'm in, I don't mind slapping a small button in to my signature. I already have it in text. Like I said, I think this is a good idea. I'd suggest linking to the main SOTW area, so you don't have to update each week:

Its a good idea though and il support it but i can never remember how you get links to work with a picture....can someone explain? I also made something like this fricking aaaaaaages ago WE had different ones back then for clan challenges and sig up threads and stuff.

It should work if you type in [img ] image link here [ /img] [/ url] with no spaces.

Easier wat to link images, or text. you either select it, or put in the button like you would a normal sig, hit Preview instead of Save, click ON the image you want to link something to once, then hit the little earth globe with the chainlink on it, and copy paste said link in there. Save. Finished.

@Stray Arrows, if there's specific colours you want, give me the hex and I'll get it up in Photoshop for ya. I still have the PSD.

Made some SoTW signature buttons to contribute to the collection:

They are all 203x50 px so they can be worn comfortably above or below a main signature.
