Squall or Cloud?

LOL are you serious?? Cloud is trying to come to terms with the fact that he is aging? Where did that come from? Have you even played FFVII?? Cloud lost 5 years of his life do to Hojo. I think the last thing on his mind is aging.

At least Cloud stole his memories from someone INTEResting. LOL.
 
Remember...his memories aren't really his memories. They're Zacks. o_O

Honestly, please, read Maiden Who Travels the Planet. It explains in there thoroughly Aerith's feelings for Zack and Cloud both. This is a direct quote taken from MotP

She watched Cloud's face which looked as if his heart was going to fall apart from the sadness of loosing her, the anger and hate he had for her being taken from him.

She also had good feelings towards him. At first, she thought he somehow had some similarities to her first love. Even so, his looks, voice and personality weren't similar and he also made her think of him as a mysterious person... But it soon didn't matter. She loved him much more than her first love. Cloud was her hero and he couldn’t get away from danger. She saw him as someone full of confidence, cool and had the impression that he would disappear in an instant if she took her eyes off him. She wanted to stay by his side forever if she could. She really wanted to.
When she left her companions and headed for the Forgotten City, Cloud's heart was like an egg that was on the verge of cracking open. It wasn’t going to crack open like the way an egg hatched but, as if only the yolk was going to seep out of it. It was as if his mind was going to shatter. She wanted to comfort him. If she wasn't the last survivor of the Cetra she probably would have done so without a doubt.

Cloud and Aerith really did love one another and Aerith did not love Cloud because of the Zack in him. That should explain it all right there.

Also, some of his memories are his own. When Zack died, Cloud was suffering from mako poisoning and the Jenova Cells reacted inside of his body causing Cloud to absorb Zack's memories and take on a false personality, but also at the same time, Cloud was still Cloud.
 
Either which way, they make a great couple.
But Cloud doesn't seem like the type of person to fall in love so easily.
You don't think that ANY of his feelings for her came from Zack?

Well, he is an awfully old protaganist in comparison to Squall.
 
You're right ^_^ They are a beautiful couple. No I really don't think any of the feelings Cloud had for Aerith came from Zack at all. I don't think that Cloud carried Zack's emotions, just his memories from the Jenova Cells.

Yeah, they're only 4 years apart. o_O 21 years old is not that old either.
 
Some games have 30 year old protagonists. LOL.
Cloud is very young. How many mature 21 year olds have you met? lol.
 
Agreed and we also have to remember that Cloud is still in the mind frame of a 16 year old. He did lose 5 years of his life under Hojo's experiements.
 
He lost five years of his life...but with Zacks memories, he acts as though he didn't. ^_^
 
Right, but if you've read CoT or seen the Reunion Files, you'll also notice that Cloud acts as though he's a child about to scolded around Tifa and she also carries a maternal bond towards Cloud as well as she looks at him like a big kid! ^_^
 
I can't really decide between the two because I love them both. They kinda share some similarities, IMO. But I'm leaning more towards Cloud on this. The reason is because his past intrigues me, whereas Squall's past isn't that interesting compared to Clouds'. (That boy can dance so sexily though! ;) )
 
Squall is sexy all right, but like you said, his history isn't as deep. ^_^
 
Luckily for me, I won't be old for another 2 and a half years. ^_^
