Square-Enix Teaser Countdown Gor New Game

Huh? what game is this? Its not Final Fantasy thats for sure. Could it be an all new Square Enix project. Well I guess we will have to find out.

I hate countdown timers... they make me so impatient.

I remember I seen one before for FFX and I didn't sleep for a while because I was so excited...


But seriously.... this is exciting.

Hopefully we see (alot) more in 10 days, give us something to look forward to
 
I would guess something along the lines of a Kingdom Hearts announcment. It has been some years now and the clamouring for a sequel is quite loud from the fanbase.
 
God I'm starting to hate these countdowns.

One theory is that the 4 means The Four Warriors of Light which was recently trademarked by SE. So basically we're yet again looking at a possible remake of the 1st game or something linked to the first game at least.

I'm hoping that's not the case and that SE will have something new to show off.
 
A build up to a relase and a knock at Kojima Productions at the same time?

Don't know if the two are still making indirect digs at eachother these days.
 
211 days, what's the point? >.> Anyways, good find :awesome: I don't think it'll be related to Kingdom Hearts mind you because Nomura already hinted at KH3 the other day. It better be something worth waiting for >.>
 
The artwork on the page reminds me a little of SaG Frontier 2/Unlimited SaGa, so maybe it's a new game in the SaGa franchise? The SaGa franchise has done really well in Japan in the past, so I wouldn't be surprised if this was the case.

Lol I think they mean 211 hours. Not even SE would make people wait 211 days to hear an announcement for a game they don't know anything about...oh shit I forgot, that is exactly what SE would do. :monster:

Anyway I have absolutely no idea what this new game could possibly be. So I'm not going to bother guessing.

The #4 clearly means KH4 :awesome:

Judging by the 8-bit gameboyish music, my money is on a SaGa IV for the DS. Not Romancing SaGa, but the original series.

And I hope that's the case. SaGa II was my introduction to RPG's along with pokemon.
 
The music would suggest it isn't Kingdom Hearts, as I don't know why they'd play at quality music unless it was for a mobile phone game of Kingdom Hearts. Then again, some people have magic phones these days that are more powerful and can have better quality music playing still.


This is a little annoying, but only 184 hours to go. Though, since I don't know what it is, I'm not going to be too annoyed as it will probably be something from a series I don't tend to buy the games for.


What is more irritating is the annoyingly catchy theme song that has been playing the whole time I have been reading these posts and typing my own out. :brooding:

Damnit, I'm gonna be humming that all day.

Tut tut! Square, E3 has past! And you're a bit too early for the TGS party!

So therefore this announcement wouldn't make that much of an impact then. If its a SaGa IV game, I'm not too interested then. But you never know...
 
Maybe the 4 means a fourth revision of AC is on its way - you see, it won't take any less to make it a film worth watching. :wacky:
