Stranger Things (Netflix)

This one hooked me right away. I love how it's faithful to the 80s era, even if a few little things here and there are off. 
Anyway, I'm almost done with the season. I'm curious to see how this one ends, and what theories I can come up with regarding next season. There are so many directions this show could take.
On a side note: the head of Netflix said it'd be silly not to move forward with a season 2, so that's great news!

I just finished watching the entire season in one sitting, I have a massive headache from all the crying and wailing.
It's so good, I can't remember the last time I've been hooked into something this much, was such an emotional rollercoaster (I'm probably over sensitive but that's not important lol).
I'd definitely watch it again soon because I feel like I've missed some details, I won't head into it deep (no spoilers of course) but wow, I'd recommend everyone to watch it whenever they can!

I finished the entire season last week after my co-worker gushed about it a couple weeks ago. I'm normally such a wuss when it comes to shows like this, but I sat through it (not alone) with few occasional yelps. I actually really really like this. I love how everything just came together and fell into pieces in the end.
The boys annoyed the crap out of me though, even if they're the stars of the show. Eleven, however...she's adorable! Love her to pieces.

I watched this series a couple of days ago and absolutely loved it. The story was gripping and I enjoyed piecing the details together as the characters did. I had a theory about Eleven on the way which turned out to be wrong, but it was fun guessing who she might be. 
I was impressed by the child actors, who are some of the best I have seen in the film industry.

Yep, got to add to the masses. It's a really great show! I finished it about a week ago. The whole Christmas lights thing was amazing as were the special effects in general. Really reminded me of Silent Hill as a concept.

I really don't get this show at all. It was perfectly okay, but I seem to be missing the hype. It didn't really feel unique, and I wasn't really drawn in by anyone.

I thought it was pretty good - enough for me to not fall asleep whilst bed ridden and sick. I felt it could've done with a bit more impactful things.
You look at the death of the guy in the first episode (trying to be as vague as possible to avoid spoilers as much as I can) and I really thought it was going to be like more brutal and hard luck. These governmental coverup type things are usually pretty good for the most part. I guess it lowers the rating but it just made it feel a bit childish - like a goonies film on roids.
The black kid was a dick most of the time though, I really didn't enjoy his time on screen for the most part 'cause he was being a miserable brat. I really liked the toothy (or not..) one and Eleven though.
I'll watch season 2, for sure - there were a couple of cliffhangers in episode 8 that i'd be interested to see what they lead to. I hope they had a plan for season 2 before season 1 was recorded and they dont just make it up as they go along.

They've planned a total of 4 seasons, though Netflix have (very positively) agreed to only airing a 2nd season so far.
