[SU/D] Digimon Re: Create

Well, Marty... I've been caught out by CA's in college, and as such my bio hasn't been finished. I'll actually do it tomorrow- albeit roughly- and send that history over. Although, you should probably already know it all by now. XD

how is my Bio looking at the moment? what is it that you want adding to it if anything (which i doubt as you are infact a perfectionist when it comes to Bio's (good thing) so just let me know, be it via this thread or PM) i hope to hear back soon.

@Ironman: I think I sent you a PM a while ago about what I expect from a profile; refer to that...if I didn't send it, I'll send it now, but I can tell you now you're going to need more than a vague, barely established idea :hmmm:
@Meteora: I'll go over your PM sometime tomorrow, when I'm not brain dead; we'll have things cleared up by the weekend, with any luck.

Everyone else who is participating that I can't be bothered to tag at the present moment: Feel free to post. I'll draw something else up at the weekend. Things should go quicker once we get moving :lew:

I'll start on a post tomorrow, since I have time after noon then.

Also, I'm going to drop my second character, I've just lost the motivation for her and I want to at least focus my attention on what I have with Yuri...I just had an idea though that you might want to hear out for future posterity.

Pre Merge:

Growing up, Daniel Peters was always a young man of many, many different hues. His persona was always complex, and his manners always awkward. He was not a shy fellow, yet he never attracted many friends. He wasn’t an idiot in the slightest, but even the most obvious things were unable to be seen by him. In the simplest sense, Daniel could be a “Self-imposed Loner.” He’d never had that one person in which he could have a cameradie, a friendship.

But something-though not apparent- that was forever present was a kind heart. He always put others before himself; he always had this acceptance, this sort of affinity for other beings…. Until his teens. Before Daniel met Lopmon and began the original journey, he was on the path of selfishness. He rarely cared about others, he didn’t want to know. It was something of a teenage phase-and perhaps his personal asserting of his male dominance. He could be ignorant, dismissive of other people’s opinions and needs. But, it always hurt him to do it- as if he was suppressing these feelings and being such a person on purpose.

In respect to other humans, Daniel had been known to be nice-ish. Many of his school-peers would always remember him being willing to help any person in the class with things that he got, and confused them. On the flip-side, they would probably remember how generally un-friendly he could be after class. Another side of this could be his reluctance to work in philanthropic situations- he believed that, no matter how much kindness is in the work, people and humans would always kill, always use others.

After meeting lopmon and the beginning of his first journey, he slowly began to change. His bond with “Lops” was something that loosened the shackles of human coldness from his emotions, allowing his kind feelings to roam free- the greatest sign of a digidestined. Lop’s became his best friend, his confidant. The two worked as a team, and boy…did that have an effect on Daniel.

As such, after this, Daniel was progressively easier to get along with- but his own moral obligations were quite a distraction. Because Lopmon allowed him to actually care about others, he couldn’t stop himself. He’d get held up helping out a young Digimon, or mend the leg of an injured garurumon- not a great help if you’re on a quest. For some companions’, it would be the utmost annoyance- but with Daniel’s buddies-The “Sisters”- he was never completely sure.

Daniel was also known to have quite a lot of confidence in his actions. He always strived for the right and good path- but could be stubborn. Of course, could be perverted and twisted… For, it’s always the ultimate good that fall is the hardest-Like Lucifer himself.
In mannerisms, Daniel could be somewhat fun to be around. With the likes of his one-liners, jokes and general confidant manner- Daniel was always going to be the clown of “Trini-destined”. He was known to pay and mess around in battle, with his jokey personality protruding whenever under intense stress- a reliever of sorts. While these one-liners were never insulting in nature, Daniel could be known for his banter and whatnot. One thing he was NEVER was a pervert. His lack of female company before the Sisters was something of a numbing sensation for his romantic interests. He loved those sisters AS sisters; they were closer than blood to him. The older and bossy sibling, the slightly younger one. In Daniel’s eyes, they were like a little family.

Yet, as soon as December hit- Daniel changed. His persona was that bit hardier, as if he was steeling himself for the final confrontation. The upgrade of Lopmon to access of the Mega level had made him…cocky- but for all the right reasons. He knew that the three Celestial Destined were here to stop Lucemon that they HAD to do it. That they COULD do it. His pride was increased with the defeat of many, many different demonic Digimon, and as they neared Lucemon, Daniel’s just began to joke around, kid like a child… And then, the battle began.

Post Merge:
Crushed, ruined… Melancholic. After the battle with Lucemon, the climactic battle for the world, was lost so was Daniel’s charisma- something changed in him. He blamed himself, his failure for such a defeat. Daniel blamed the lost on himself. Three years on, he would be still sliced up about it. His soul has aged much more than his nineteen years.

His demeanor wasn’t one of cold heartedness, nor of a loner. Daniel’s just a broken man- one who faced up to failure in the eye and lost. As such, Daniel has been a shell of himself for the last three years. His social skills have declined, his connection with the human race has dwindled to naught and even his bond with Lopmon was slowly decaying. He’d been stuck in a rut, and couldn’t get out.

Then, we have the emotional side of it: How many people died because of his failure? How many digital monsters have been crushed under these new oppression-instilling governments because they couldn’t defeat Lucemon? His anger towards himself has been quite huge for the last three years, and as such, has made it difficult to be around Daniel-until very recently. He’s begun to cheer up a bit-only a sliver- but it is noticeable.
Nevertheless, in dealings with digimon and humans, Daniel has become that much colder- as one would expect in such a world. You need to be hard in a world like so, and that’s the exact way Daniel developed. He was so much more standoff-ish now, his patience so much thinner. Nevertheless, deep down Daniel was still the cheerful young man he always was- the man-boy just didn’t have the heart, or the clear conscious, to show it proudly.

In relation to the idea of new digidestined- should they arise- Daniel is both hostile and generally uncaring. He personally believes in his own pride and cleaning up his own mess so much that he’d very much prefer they retire. Of course, there is an other side to this: In his own sense of kindness and humility, Daniel wishes to avoid so many more deaths. He wishes to save the world himself, to be something close to a beacon of light in this dark, dark world. He doesn’t believe that “children” (in his eyes, that’s what these new digidestined are) should have to fight. That being said, he isn’t stubborn in the argument sense- if they prove him wrong, he won’t dishonor them by refusing help...But proving yourself is a large task indeed.

His relationship with “Sloppy” hasn’t deviated from the original in a very large sense (you could even say the two are closer now) but, Daniel has now gained reserves about Sloppy battling. He saw how much pain the pink Digimon succumbed to against Lucemon, and honestly wishes he could avoid it again. But- knowing that wish is futile- Daniel just makes sure that Sloppy is alive. The bond is something akin to brothers, but closer. Now, one could say they were connected in such a way that the feel each other in pain, each other’s happiness—metaphorically speaking, that is.

History:
Pre Merge:

Daniel Peter’s was born on March 21, 1995 in the Area of Tallaght in county Dublin, in the Republic of Ireland. He spent the first four years there, before his parents uprooted the family and headed over to Brooklyn, NYC for his father’s job. This move was not particularly hard on Daniel- he had not been old enough to even remember Ireland in his later years. That being said, due to younger homebody nature and the amount of time spent with his older family, Daniel grew up with a very noticeable Dublin twang in his accent. That was the only abnormality in his plain life. He never really had many other problems with the world.

Daniel’s life before even entering the digital world was one of pure and utter boredom. He would go through the routines, the under-entertaining and dreary days. Go to school, come home, sit alone in his laptop, look up some mentions- hell, maybe hit up some forums. In short, Daniel’s life was one of pure and utter boredom. He had never heard of even the potential of an actual “Digital World” existing. Would it have interested him? Probably not, if he would read it in a scientific journal of some sorts… But- things are never that simple.

It was a late night-when Daniel was around about fifteen. He’d been messing around with some programs online, listening to some music at a volume that any other teenager would find both enraging(IT NEEDS TO BE LOUDDDD!!) and generally irritated (I can’t here it!!). Daniel hadn’t been wishing for any sort of “fucked-up shit” to happen- but the world never works that way.

While messing around with the coding of his own website, Daniel’s laptop began to act erratic, Its webcam turned itself on, his video program opened by itself and- before he knew it- the pickup seemed to be… digitizing him?! Of course, as any non-tripping human being would, Daniel began to panic. He attempted to cry out for help, but the digitizing was just too fast and- within second- wasn’t in his room anymore. He seemed to have arrived in a crater- apparently one of significance- in a strange world. Boy, did he know that he wasn’t in Kansas anymore!

Very soon after this- as if fate intended- He came across him, his partner in crime: Kokomon. Daniel had been both confused and freaked by the appearance of this peachy marshmallow-like animal, but it did not take long for the two to get on like a house on fire. As such, it was within that day that Kokomon digivolved into Lopmon in something of an awkward situation. Daniel had been feeding Kokomon some juice, then(out of nowhere) he digivolved, causing Daniel’s hand to slip and smash the entire fruit onto the Pink Rabbit’s trio of horns; thus came the name of Sloppy!
Following this, Daniel very quickly met a duo of siblings whom would turn out to be his sisters-in-arms: Popola, the older (And seemingly more independent sister) and Devola, the younger sibling. To say his reaction to them was friendly is definitely an attempt to be ironic: Daniel was completely taken aback by the revelation of other humans in this world. Nevertheless, they personally had an effect on Daniel- he was quite happy he’d met such companions at the time.

Daniel’s reaction to the Digital world was one of conflicting emotions: He honestly felt excitement upon entering this world, yet fear that he’d never see his family again. This doubt was hid under his excitable personality, and as such, his travel companions Devola and Popola probably never knew. Though, Daniel left hints: Those solemn sighs, that burning desire to succeed, that “hard, but happy, man” persona.
Following this, Daniel generally followed and travelled with the sisters, tagging along in whichever direction they went, fighting in whichever battles they did. Daniel and Sloppy reached the champion level of digivolution at an average pace. It wasn’t very remarkable (for a digidestined), until a certain battle…

Daniel had been fighting a group of ‘mons, alone. It was a stupid folly- Daniel had let the other two go on ahead, and here he was ambushed. These Greymons seemed to be in a pack. Daniel and sloppy had been chosen to be a “rite-of-passage” battle, in which a younger Greymon would slay their first digimon. While Daniel didn’t personally want to battle under such pretences, Of course, Daniel had Sloppy digivolve to Turuiemon. It was an even match that lasted (what seemed to be) hours. Greymon pinned Sloppy, Sloppy countered and cracked Greymon’s skull, then Greymon counter with an arm-crushing stomp. Eventually, Turuiemon just barely bested Greymon and smote the Digi-saur down in front with a speedy high-kick.

But, as Daniel was about to leave, the Greymon acted. They intended to slaughter this new-comer for the loss. Daniel stepped in, begging them not to continue such a foul act. In clichéd manner, they continued anyway: nova-flaming the two of them without any hesitation. But, Daniel’s kindness in begging for his enemy- one that had attempted to butcher him- activated his crest, and Sloppy digivolved yet again. Antlyamon-the ultimate level- then fought against the pack of Five Greymon, taking them out in an orderly fashion, with minimal struggle.

Following his crest revelation, Daniel journeyed with the other two, never deviating for any heroics of his own- although, perhaps a hitch to help others came along ever so often. In fairness, they could mess about due to the fact they were on the run from Lillthmon, a demon lord sent after them, with killing intent by the bucket load.

All in all, his experience with the celestial war was one of simplicity; Daniel fit the model of a stereotypical hero: He was extremely resilient, and seriously confident. Especially, as each Demon Lord fell to the trinity’s digimon. By the time of the Lucemon battle, Daniel and Sloppy seemed calm. The two actually believed themselves powerful enough to take on Lucemon alone…

Post Merge:
Of course, they had been wrong… Following the battle (And the Merge that swiftly followed), Daniel awoke to a ruined NYC; his home city had been ripped to pieces. Like any normal-feeling human being, Daniel had already waked feeling more than a bruised ego. They were supposed to have protected the world, not seen to such destruction. His confidence was in tatters; his emotions were running high… Then, he realized where he was.

New York City, Daniel’s home. He remembered the buzz, the sounds of urban life… the smell of burning hotdogs… Now, there was no sound, except for the odd scream. There was no hotdogs, yet the smell of burning flesh. Though Devola would not apparently know this was NYC at the time, Daniel wouldn’t ever forget his home. However, he would never he return to it with the same glee, the same happiness, during the next three years. Very soon, after they had woken, Daniel left Devola with Sloppy in the dead of night. He didn’t think he deserved to stay with his comrade- he’d failed her just as much as he’d failed the entire world… Why did he get to survive, while POPOLA was nowhere to be seen?? She’d been the oldest, and definitely an inspiration to Daniel.

The weeks passed by easily, nothing of note happened since he awoke. Some random attacks from digimon, a few human bandit raids and a very slim mixture of humans and subdued digimon: All three were deflected off, but Daniel refused to kill them. He specifically released the captured digimon from their chains, his crests insignia was still very much a part of his persona. Eventually- after about half a year of these random attacks while traversing the Folder continent, though slim pickings they were- Daniel began to grow weary of the monotonous area. His food stocks were low, his emotions (And Sloppy’s) were near-gone and he was just generally losing the will to live.

Until, he returned to New York. It was his very last option at the time. With a very much a large ch unk of regret in his soul, Daniel managed to barter his way into the underground civilization for the few days. It was here that he first heard of the likes of mercenary companies- the Grey Swords being one of the major PMC’s in existence. After hearing such stories, that this outfit could potentially take down Mega-level digimon, Daniel had been intrigued. This outfit sounded… strange. The idea of such a task was preposterous, even with the high casualty rate of such plans. However, what caught his ear was the rumor of slave drivers for human and digimon alike. Nobody knew what happened to him or her after they’re caught. All that was known was that the digimon and humans were separated at one point, in which the digimon are usually sent by sea to the Data continent- but what happens there is a complete mystery.

While his head told him not to get involved, Daniel’s heart pulled him into what would turn out to be his new living: an investigator for digimon and humans alike who have seemed to have disappeared, and a gun-for-hire who primarily hunts slavers. Being only a sixteen-year-old boy at this point, Daniel seemed the strangest choice for such a mission, but usually the strangest choice provides the most interesting answers. As such, Daniel had decided to move from NYC towards different continents, as he’d felt- at the time- NY wasn’t the place that’d be healthy for him to live.

His first request had been something of an easy ride. Basically, Daniel had to hunt down a runaway child, who’d left the security of Rome for. Why any person would run away from the safety of a city in this world, Daniel just couldn’t reason why at the time- nor would he ever understand. Nevertheless, his first job began and ended well: The young boy, against all of the odds, was found weeks later- albeit half dead from starvation and weathering. This nurtured Daniel’s love for this. He had hoped to prove that Kindness still existed in this world.

And- for the next two years- Daniel did that. He took on cases, tracking down family members gone missing. Some ended on a happy note, others… not so much. For every good and beautiful moment a child is found alive, or Daniel turned up to a client’s house with their loved one in tow, a bad and sinister version appeared…Children, riddled with bullets or ripped in pieces…Blood, the staining of rocks. The young girls, the ripped and torn clothing beside their bodies. Scenes like this haunted Daniel’s dreams it was always a certain girl, her blonde locks and cute face had reminded Daniel of his sister. He had forced himself to get this job, and end it on a good note. He didn’t sleep for weeks, and only stopped when Sloppy begged… He wanted a happy ending… but this new world didn’t work that way. Daniel just kept going, as weeks had faded into a month. Eventually, he tracked her down, just in the Ash; back to NYC. She had been alive… and then, the trail ended. He found her dead body, it violated in more one way… It was the first time Daniel had cried since the Merge… and Sloppy noticed something: A side of Daniel died that day, in the cold month of November.

This incident had twisted his sense of justice. By the end of the second year since Daniel’s first dive into the world of private investigation, Daniel was a changed person. Most people and digimon knew of the Celestial Trinity-primarily due to Devola’s reappearance in the mainstream- yet, Daniel was unrecognizable to those who had heard about him through the grapevine. His eyes were different, his emotions eroded and his pride scarred. As such, Daniel Peters’ name spread through his work. It did make things harder for him- with revenging slavers- but it never was much of an issue. What human could stand against a celestial digimon?

With this work, came changes. His eye for detail that bit more focused his stomach a large section stronger and his nativity all but dissolved completely. Nevertheless, the repercussions’ on his emotional thinking had been retarded considerably. As such, he avoided the larger cities, the targets of Nightmare platoons. Daniel wasn’t in any of the major cities, which had been crushed by the nightmare soldiers. He didn't have much desire to fight them at this moment of time anyway. He would usually spend any free time in Riga- or what was left of it. It had been somewhat nostalgic for Daniel, and his emotions couldn’t bear to revisit NYC… Memories that was too much to take.

Then, coming into the beginning of the third year since the Merge, Daniel came about a segment of news. Omnimon had been missing since New Year’s eve- two weeks before the day Daniel heard this. Daniel’s desire and anger flared. Omnimon was a leader. Omnimon was a being who could lead this new world into the renaissance it needs. Daniel committed himself to finding him, whatever the consequences that may become. From January until August, Daniel’s operation seemed fruitless- seemed desolate.

He had picked up a few strings, but nothing that dense appeared… until- in the middle of September- Daniel had been snooping through an escorted cargo-caravan and he found a set of documents referring to an “X-project”. Daniel had been intrigued by this. He had seen “X” before, during another job… Moreover, this was no coincidence- the equipment that had been being transported were computers, seemly aimed towards high-spec digital logic.

Daniel had smelt a fishy stench- as following interviews suggested Digimon being taken for such programs- and believed the “X project” was linked to Omnimon…Somehow. That Mon was always one for the righteous calling. As such, Daniel began to follow the trail- the shipping map hinted towards a certain continent; the use of a cypher blocked his methods of decoding. Daniel believed that “X” destroyed Omnimon, and his data used for something world breaking.

As such, by the time of the roleplays beginning, Daniel’s investigations had not ventured past the Ash zone-, which was something of a base for him. He had decided to go on through the folder continent next… However, his intuition pointed him towards another. He got a feeling deep in the pit of his stomach. He had been through much of the new world in his ventures, and the Data continent always felt… strange. Almost as if, it was too isolated. As such, Daniel decided to head for it…

But, With the way File Island seemed to be, Daniel decided it best to stop off on the binary Continent. Therefore, Daniel’s primary destination as of the start: Riga.

Digimon Partner Bio

Name:
“Sloppy”.

Gender:
Male

Personality:

Stubborn, brave, loyal, focused, playful. All of these attributes could be associated with Sloppy. However, only four out of the five could be named AS him. As a digimon, Sloppy is something of a slacker. His favourite method of travel is simply sitting on Daniel’s head, and letting his partner do the walkin’. Nevertheless, Sloppy is both defensive and supporting of Daniel. He is the human’s wingman, his partner in crime. Wherever Danny goes, Sloppy will follow.

However, that’s not to say that Sloppy is a pet. The truth is far from that. Sloppy and Daniel have disagreements, they argue (More, as of late) and many a time Sloppy has outright refused Daniel’s opinion. The two always compromise at the end- with Sloppy usually getting his way.
Another personality complex that Sloppy has is that of his pride: He hates the idea of him (A boy) being pink, and prefers people to refer to his coat as a salmon hue. In addition, his own personal conquest of reaching both the ultimate and mega digivolution forms only boosts his ego. That being said, Daniel is always there to pull Sloppy down to earth- making for a compatible team of a kind-but serious- human partner, and the silly, stubborn and generally funny Digimon.

His persona was generally the same post-merge. Of course, Sloppy’s personal confidence took a knock that it still has not recovered from by the time of the roleplay from the defeat by Lucemon. Other than that, his relationship with Danny has become much closer, with the two being able to walk silently, without that awkward feeling, with Sloppy being able to explain to Danny about his own personal feelings- creating a much better team.

Digivolution Line: (In Training -> Rookie -> Champion -> Ultimate -> Mega)
Kokomon -> Lopmon->Turuiemon -> Antylamon ->Cherubimon
