Gaia, the land where everyone had a place they called home. The world had seen its shares of wars over the course of history, but none could ever compare to the Great War started by Queen Brahne XVI of Aleandria and continued under the Terran Genome known as Kuja. But with the help of Zidane Tribal, then-Princess Garnet Til Alexandros and their allies and friends, Kuja was defeated and the world was saved. Many lives were lost and Terra was destroyed, or so it was believed.

The remnants of the dying world of Terra, and all the souls still inhabiting the world would be assimilated into Gaia, the ultimate irony since Terra was attempting to assimilate Gaia into its world. As a result, the souls of the denizens of Terra would eventually fall into the hands of the Genomes, a creature created by Garland for the purpose of assimilation. Many Genomes who received Terran souls would travel outside the confines of the Black Mage Village and explore the world, some of them relocating and eventually living in former Terran ruins in the Forgotten Continent, namely the ruins of Oeilvert and Ipsen's Castle.

Seventeen Years has passed since Kuja's defeat. The heroes that saved Gaia went on to live their lives. Garnet and Zidane became Queen and King-Consort of Alexandria respectively, while the newly promoted General Adelbert Steiner married former rival and longtime friend Beatrix. The world had seen peace between nations for the first time in years, but recent events threaten to shatter the peace.

Oeilvert, a young and upstart nation, and one of the Kingdoms founded by the Genomes following the fall of Terra, had ground down to Civil War over the right to who would succeed the founding King of Oeilvert. This brutal war, lasting ten years and costing the lives of the majority of the population was finally ended by the Genome known as Cyril Gesalios, a figure known by few and whose agenda is known by even fewer.

Cyril begins his plans and launches an unprecedented preemptive strike on the nations of the Mist Continent, threatening to drag all of Gaia down to the flames of war once more. With heroes old and new, will it be enough to put an end to this new threat?

gathering that we are allowed original characters, i'm happy that this is getting a re run, i wanted to enter it originally but i didn't want to enter too far in, looking forward to it, I will get a bio up by the end of the week

Annelise is of a slim, yet toned build with her slender legs, a sizeable bust size being noticable features. Standing at 171 cm (5'7"), she is taller than the average female by a few inches (5'3"). Annelise has long and straight chestnut brown hair that extends down to her upper shoulder blades. Her eyes are the same color as her father's, a set of deep blue eyes that are as deep as the ocean. Her complexion is fair, yet somewhat pale.

Annelise's attire consists of the Standard Alexandrian Armor. This consists of a lightweight gray steel breastplate with an emblem of a blue angel holding a spear on the right side. The breastplate was designed to cover and protect her torso from damage from both blades and gunfire, and also covers her sides with equal efficiency. Anne wears a pair of light skirt armor that covers her waist and hips, whilst she wears a pair of white pants of a cotton and leather hybrid. Anne wears a white jacket that runs down to halfway down her upper leg. The jacket is also made of the same material, but has extra padding and a layer of iron on the shoulders to allow protection on the general area. The emblem is also present on her steel bracer, which gives her wrists limited protection from bladed weapons. Annelise wears flat white shoes and long white stockings as well.

Personality:
If Annelise would be described in a series of words, she would be Loyal, Caring and Proud yet Insecure, Always Worrying and having a strong desire to be more powerful so she could protect everyone.

Annelise, being the dutiful daughter of Generals Beatrix and Adelbert Steiner, believes that she has much to prove. She feels herself to be inferior in skill and experience to her fellow soldiers, and for that reason fights at her absolute hardest to attain the approval of her comrades and superiors so that she would at least measure to the same amount of greatness as her parents had in the past. Because of this, she has developed an inferiority complex, feeling a lack of self-worth and only believing that the only way to improve her capability is to work hard. Some people believe she works too hard, as she often pushes herself to exhaustion time and time again.

Anne is loyal to her friends and the Queen, Garnet. The latter of which was instilled in both parents. Having met the Queen as a child, Anne is fiercely fervent in fighting for Garnet. She also shows Loyalty to her friends and superiors, and cares for her comrades, believing that they would do better than she would, despite many's belief for the contrary.

-Fire Wall (From Fire Sword): Strikes the ground and creates a pillar of Fire that blocks off an area for as long as the user can hold it.

-Flare Tornado (From Firaga Sword): Creates a tornado of flame that incinerates anything in reach.
-Ice Needle (From Blizzard Sword): Swings the sword creating small Ice projectiles that strike the enemy.
-Ice Wall (From Blizzara Sword): Creates a thick wall of Ice that blocks off an area for as long as the user can hold it.
-Final Embrace (From Blizzaga Sword): Surrounds and buries an opponent in a Coffin of Ice.

-Flash Tränen (From Holy Sword): Create a glyph on the ground that binds the target in holy magic and then burn then with white lightning.
-Demon's Lance (From Demi Sword): Creates a lance of pure darkness that can be thrown at an enemy.
-Flare Star (From Flare Sword): Creates an explosion in front of Anne, before sending up 5 fireballs that rains down on multiple targets.
-Infernal Suffering (From Doomsday Sword): Anne slashes her opponent repeatedly from multiple angles as dark energies charge her blade. She then finishes the combo with a powerful Dark-elemental blade way to cleave anything in its path in two.
-Das Letzte Fantasie (From Ultima Sword): Anne's ultimate attack, she creates a single orb of pure energy and launches it at the opponent, as it hits the opponent, the orb splits into two and then home in to attack the enemy again, splitting themselves with each successive hit. After the orbs splits to a sufficient number, they fuse together within the opponent and cause them to explode from within.

Weapon:
At the start of the story, Annelise wields a standard Broadsword. The broadsword is a two-handed heavy weapon used by knights. It's double-edged blade make it ideal for cutting, though it can also be used for thrusting. The sword is placed on a scabbard which is located on her back. The broadsword from tip to handle is roughly 90 cm's long of cold steel, and with a width of about 15 cm, means that it requires at least two hands to properly wield it.

After a certain point in the RP, Anne will come to wield the "Rosenkreuzstillete." (German for Rose Cross Blade) It is a Western-style light saber (styled in the form of the Pattern 1796 light calvary saber), roughly 82.6 cm long and 5 cm in width. The hilt is a basket weave, designed with roses along the weave and on the guard. The blade is made of a combind coral and steel material, allowing similar properties to the Coral Sword.

Bio:
Annelise Kunigunde Steiner was born one year after the events of Kuja's defeat. She is the daughter and sole child of General Adelbert and Beatrix Steiner. Growing up, she was enamored by the stories of her parents heroic efforts. Inspired by these stories, and wanting to be a great warrior, Beatrix joined with the Royal Alexandrian Army and strove to do her best. Although she never rose to be at the absolute top of her class (a fact that after a few tries instilled in her her inferiority complex), she was highly regarded for her skills in battle, despite her inexperience.

Now ready to undertake her first mission. Annelise is eager to begin her journey and prove herself to her comrades, not realizing the mysterious forces that will come to play in her adventure.

Mr. 1000 is always curious about the outside world, and curious about everybody and everything.
Mr. 1000 is Always snooping around in other peoples business, and asking outsiders about their village's and countries.
Mr. 1000 always keeps a detail note and loves to draw what he thinks the outside places looks like when someone share their info with them.

The Ability for a short while to put a barrier around himself and his allies around him, this barrier stops all magic and weapons from attacking him and his allies for a short while.

Weapon:
Mr. 1000, like all other Black Mages, uses Staffs, but he always gets curious with other weapons, but never used a new weapon yet.

Bio: Mr. 1000 became "aware" 3 months after he was created in the Black Mage village
Here the other Black Mages told him about how to live, what to do, what to think. It was a farely small community and very few mages get made every year. But Mr. 1000 always wanted to leave, wanted to see the outside world, When others visited or left the village and came back he always would ask them about their adventures, and to describe the places they went. He would draw what he thought the places looked like, and write down information about each place.

He became more interested after he heard about the Black Mage Vivi and his journey through the world.

About 3 months after he became "aware" he decided to leave the village on an adventure, and he decided to start where Vivi's story started, in Alexanderia on the Mist Continent.

Name: Richard Vaughn

Appearances: Vaughn has long black hair that is usually tied back into a lose pony tail. His eyes are a deep green, a trade mark of his family. Vaughn usually wears a long grey greatcoat that reaches down to his ankles. Under his coat he wears a plain white shirt and a black metal chest plate. He also wears high leather boots and a pair of black fingerless gloves. His spear is secured to his back by a brown leather belt. He also carries a brown leather bag for storing items. Perhaps his most striking feature is his mechanical right arm. Crafted by Regent Cid, the arm is a replacement for one he lost at the Battle of Lindblum. While it's not perfect, sometimes it jams or stops working completely, it is better than nothing. The metal arm is clamped onto his side, over his coat and is a dark brass colour with a large steam piston at the elbow.

Personality: Vaughn is a friendly a sociable person but only when he is not fighting. During times of war, or even when he is beside himself, Vaughn can turn into a quiet and taciturn man, lost in his own thoughts. Vaughn, above all, wants to protect people. Although he is always saying that the idea of wanting to protect everyone and anyone is an idiotic moral from a children's story, it never stops him from trying to doing so. Even in the heat of battle Vaughn will dash to his friends aid and take a hit for them, doing what he could not for Burmecia.

Class: Dragoon

Abilities: Jump, Dragon: Lancer, Reis’ Wind, Luna and White Wind

Trance: Deus ex Machina- A God from the Machine. Vaughn's trance increases the power of his mechanical arm and unleashes an ungodly salvo of cannon fire from an unknown place. Varying in strength and area, the Trance can have the power to sack a city or the accuracy to punch a hole in a monster’s pupil.

Bio: Vaughn was born to two human parents that lived in Lindblum. They were nobles, close to the Regent. They moved to Burmecia to help strengthen the alliance between the two kingdoms. Vaughn had little contact with other humans but enjoyed to company of Burmecians. As he grew up, he fell in love with the idea of the Burmecian Dragoons, wanting to become one. However, it was apparent that it would be difficult from a Human to join the ranks of the most important class of the Burmecian Army. Despite this, Vaughn succeeded in becoming a Dragon Knight and he even gained fame for his skills as a Dragoon. But nothing could keep the Black Mage Army away. Lying on the ground in the pouring rain, defeated by General Beatrix, Vaughn saw the army of Black Mages pass by, killing his friends and family. But Vaughn survived his encounter with Beatrix, waking just in time to see Zidane and his party leave the city, talking about Black Mages and a small town called Dali. While many Burmecians went to Cleyra, Vaughn went east, going through the North Gate and into Alexandria.

Passing himself of as just a traveller, Vaughn moved through the marsh land and using a Chocobo to quickly get to Dali. Just as Vaughn exited the Ice Caverns, he caught the glimpse of Odin being summoned in the distance. Cursing Alexandria, he kept going to Dali, wanting to find out who was responsible for the Black Mages. Vaughn broke into the factory, recognising the sent of Mist against the clean air. After seeing that the Black Mages were not capable of independent thought, Vaughn forgot his hatred against the Mages and also against Beatrix. While neither the Mages nor Beatrix were forgiven, Vaughn held no hatred to them. Beatrix was doing what was expected of her and fighting for her country. Vaughn had never seen her kill an unarmed person or a child during the sacking of Burmecia. Vaughn stayed in Dali for a while, keeping the town safe from monsters, while quietly trying to shut down the factory. But after a few days Vaughn left on a passing Cargo Ship bound for Lindblum. Wondering if the Regent would remember him, he left Dali- intrusting its protection to a few men he had trained during his stay.

Vaughn had only been in Lindblum a few hours before Queen Brahne attacked. While trying to defend the Industrial District, a group of Black Mages cornered him in the old Weapon Shop. Having fled many Mages, Vaughn was tiring and it was unlikely that he would have won the fight. But Atmos attacked, taking the Industrial District. Vaughn managed to climb into an Air Cab as he was sucked though the air. Using it to fight against the pull of Atmos. Vaughn was nearly taken but Atmos ceased its attack just in time. Flying the Air Cab to the Castle, Vaughn tried to fight the Black Mage that had climbed into the Cab as well. Neither Mage nor Dragoon won, the battle finishing in a draw with both combatants losing an arm. It was then that the Black Mage gained independent thought. As Vaughn raised his spear for the killing blow, the Mage asked him to stop. Surprised that the Mage had spoken in such a scared voice, Vaughn lowered his spear and allowed the Mage to speak. Both the Mage and the Dragoon attended to each other's wounds. Vaughn was surprised that the Black Mage was bleeding. Not red blood but a black blood. But in Vaughn's mind, this did not matter. What mattered was the Black Mage had a heart. Vaughn altered the course of the Air Cab, taking the Black Mage to the Pinnacle Rocks. There he would be safe from the angry crowds of Lindblum. The Black Mage had assured Vaughn that he had not killed a soul. Vaughn believed him and left the Black Mage in peace at the Pinnacle Rocks.

Vaughn returned to Lindblum and asked to see the regent. Allowing the Regent peace to talk to Zidane and party, Vaughn waited in the guest room. After seeing the Regent, Vaughn was promised a replacement arm for his help in the defence of the Industrial District. But this would only be completed when the Regent was returned to normal. For a few days Vaughn assisted in the reconstruction of the city, helping his fellow Burmecians to rebuild their lives. But Vaughn was afraid to settle down again, not wanting to feel the same after Burmecia. He also wanted to explore the world, not just the Mist Continent. With only one arm it would be difficult to wield his spear effectively so he paid a visit to the Pinnacle Rocks, hoping to call upon the Black Mage for assistance. The Black Mage agreed to come along but only it Vaughn gave him a name. Vaughn was surprised but after thinking about it he understood. Vaughn named the Black Mage Seraph, member of the highest order of angles. Vaughn and Seraph left the relative safety of the Lindblum Plateau and headed for the Qu's Marsh.

Even though both Vaughn and Seraph were each one less arm, they proved to be a formidable team in the field, passing to Qu's Marsh easily. After tackling the long dark of Fossil Roo, finding the area with the water fountains to be especially difficult in their crippled state, they formed a firm friendship. But as they entered the Outer Continent for the first time, Seraph felt something calling him. Vaughn followed him, taking them into a deep forest. Seraph led Vaughn to what he was feeling and they soon found the Black Mage Village. The Black Mages were frightened of Vaughn, never having been in such close contact with a Human, so Vaughn lingered around the outskirts of the village. Seraph enjoyed the company of the Black Mages but he did not want to leave Vaughn, so the two left together. They headed for Condie Petie, the Black Mages telling them that there was a settlement of Dwarves there. Vaughn and Seraph went there, hoping to find something else of value.

While the town was interesting, Vaughn and Seraph saw the tall Iifa Tree in the distance. It caught their imagination and they traveled there. Zidane and party were already exploring the Tree by the time Seraph and Vaughn got there. The seal was broken and they were free to enter. Curious about the reason for the tree, the two ventured further in. However, Vaughn grew increasing annoyed that every chest had already been opened. But Seraph urged him to go on, Seraph becoming more human each day. But when they reached what seemed to be the end of the path, there was a large hole in the ground, as if something had risen or fell from its place. Not wanting to jump down the high distance to the ground, Vaughn and Seraph took a more senic root to the top of the tree, climbing around it and over it.

They spent a while here but then Queen Brahne arrived. Annoyed that the war gad followed him all the way out here, Vaughn dashed down to meet the Mistodons. Seraph joined him and together they felled several of the beasts. They eventually gained some respite and in the distance Vaughn could see Zidane and party. Seraph asked Vaughn if they should go down and help them. But Vaughn said no. Seraph was taken aback by this, thinking the Vaughn was a White Knight and wanted to help everyone. But Vaughn explained, if they were in danger he would help but until then this would be their story. Seraph said he understood but Vaughn could here the confusion as he tried to work it out. After seeing the awesome power of Bahamut, Vaughn and Seraph leave the Iifa tree, hoping to save anyone that was in the fleet. Vaughn and Seraph met with Zidane and party but it was a brief encounter as Vaughn and Seraph thought it best to leave Garnet to grieve in peace. Vaughn and Seraph asked Zidane and Party only one thing and that was to make a small detour to the South Coast, there they could drop off the Black Mages into the Village. Vaughn and Seraph then travelled with the surviving soldiers and Zidane to Alexandria, where they parted ways. Vaughn and Seraph disappeared as soon as the ship landed in the harbour, not wanting to take part in a story that was not theirs any longer. Vaughn and Seraph also parted ways for a while, Vaughn leaving for Dali. Seraph stayed behind, not wanting to frighten the people of Dali.

Vaughn went to Dali, finding the lack of Mist easier to walk in, and it didn't hurt his wound as much. When he reached Dali, Vaughn greeted those he had met during his stay. But he was angered when he went to retrieve his secret stash of items that he had hidden in the windmill. He left Dali again going to Treno instead. Vaughn had never been to Treno before but he didn't like what he saw. The Nobles were too full of themselves and the Poor District was full of crime. He left after spending only a day there, going back to Alexandria by a Chocobo. He was again just in time to see the power of the Eidolons. Riding the Chocobo straight into the city, he fought his way to Seraph, who he hoped was still alive. Thankfully Seraph was alive and holding off the Mistodons from the steeple. The two fought until morning, going through the whole city and helping Beatrix and Steiner. As Alexander awoke, Vaughn and Seraph were amazed by the power that these people had at their disposal. After the battle was over, Vaughn and Seraph helped in the clean up. They spent several days helping before going to Lindblum to talk with the Regent.

Seraph stayed back in the Pinnacle Rocks while Vaughn visited the Regent. Upon their arrival in the Castle, Vaughn was shocked to hear that Cid had become a frog, taken aback like everyone else. But Vaughn believed the Regent’s story. Minister Artania explained that the Regent had gone with Zidane and party to the Outer Continent. Vaughn returned to the Pinnacle Rocks and collected Seraph. Together they explored the Eunorus Plains beneath the Lindblum Plateau. But their travels ultimately led them to Gizamaluke’s Grotto. There they cleared out the monsters that had infested the sacred grotto. They then pressed on to Burmecia.

In the Daines-Horse Basin, Vaughn and Seraph came across a small camp of Burmecian refugees. Initially hostile towards Seraph, Vaughn convinced them that Seraph was good. Together they helped re populate Burmecia, encountering a travelling group of Cleyran refugees as well. Vaughn acted as the King, taking Regency over the land until Puck returned. But many Burmecians and Cleyrans seemed unhappy with a human as a leader and a black mage as friend so as soon as Vaughn heard that Regent Cid had returned, he left with Seraph. Appointing the person who had led as the acting Regent, Vaughn left Burmecia.

Upon the completion of the Hilda Garde 3, Cid began work on a new arm for both Vaughn and Seraph. After the completion of the arms, which took several days, Cid asked Vaughn and Seraph to go to Esto Gaza to establish a connection with the Archbishop. Although there was no airship that would take them to Esto Gaza, Vaughn and Seraph travelled on the sailing ship, the Enterprise.

Upon their arrival in Esto Gaza, Vaughn and Seraph found themselves in a battle. The disturbance of Mount Gulug had unleashed various monsters into the City. After delving into the heart of the volcano to defeat the remnants of Meltigemini, Vaughn and Seraph helped to build the Gulug Village.
After the Evil Mist’s Rebirth, Vaughn and Seraph were trapped in Esto Gaza. But Regent Cid made a small detour on his way to the Battle of the Iifa Tree, sending a small fleet to rescue the people of Esto Gaza. Vaughn and Seraph borrowed the fastest ship in the squadron, the Indefatigable. They sped towards the Iifa Tree, arriving just in time to save the Viltgance from an attack of White Dragons. After the Invincible entered Memoria, Vaughn and Seraph waited with the rest of the fleet outside the Iifa Tree, hoping that Zidane and Garnet knew what they were doing.

After the Invincible returned, the Indefatigable (along with the rest of the fleet) escorted the Hilda Garde back to the Mist Continent. Vaughn and Seraph kept the Indefatigable and returned to Esto Gaza, helping to clear away the Iifa Tree Roots.

Vaughn and Seraph returned to Alexandria to attend Tantalus performance of I Want To Be Your Canary. Having been part of the plan to help get Zidane into the country un-noticed, Vaughn and Seraph were rewarded by the future King-Consort when there wedding was over. Vaughn and Seraph were knighted, both becoming part of the Alexandrian Court. Seraph became the Black Mage Village Ambassador to Alexandria and Vaughn became a special agent for the Queen, being sent to various places to help strength Alexandrian relations to the world. Vaughn was particularly helpful when Oeilvert was first established, being there to try and calm the fires of war that erupted in the kingdom. But Vaughn helped closer to home as well, taking some time out to help rebuild Burmecia and Cleyra. All Vaughn’s travels were done so on the Indefatigable. Vaughn had the Enterprise refitted and given to Esto Gaza, the Enterprise becoming the first Air Ship in the Esto Gaza fleet.

In recent months, however, has seen the Alexandrian monarchy ask Vaughn to patrol the borders of the Mist Continent once in a while. Queen Garnet, being cautious of Cyril, asked Vaughn to establish an embassy in Oeilvert. But this was Vaughn’s last mission as an Alexandrian agent, asking the Queen and King-Consort to leave their command and pursue his own adventures.

Kuro went back to the Village to Collect the Payment and asked them to Bury Gafgarion in their graveyard,6 year's pass as Kuro Wander's across the World becoming stronger so he may become a knight as Gafgarion wished,He Return's to the Village to Pay his respect's to his Fallen Comrade and noticed that Genome's are living there now,He stays for a few days and Learn's what happened to Terra and Garland..He goes back to Gafgarion's Grave and sit's there thinking about what he was told,He figured Gafgarion would have Shruged it off and Moved on,Kuro Laughed at that and decided now was the time to try and become a Knight,He heard from a Genome that Alexandria was a place to start at.

Personality:
Lan V. Ester is a down to earth guy who is calculating to a certain degree. Most of the time, he is easy to get along and generally loves exploring as much as he can unless he sees something interesting. When that happens, he is usually stubborn to the the point of being boarder line unreasonable.

Duel Slash Cutter: Two slash waves rushes towards the enemy.
Tail cutter: Lan grabs Masa with his tail and slashes at the enemy. (It breaks guards)
Shadow Stab: Disguised as a slash, Lan stabs at the enemy with Mura.
Teleport Slash: Lan throws Masa behind the enemy while teleporting to the landing spot of Masa, slashing at the enemy in the process.
Meditation: Lan heals himself through calming the mind.
Flash Counter: if attacked, Lan blocks with Mura and slash at the enemy with Masa.

Trance: Lan's Katanas merge into one Katana that glows white called the Masamune. While in Trance, the attack range, speed, and power of Lan's attacks doubles (Length is equal sepherioth's sword length. 2 yards) as well as giving him the ability to cut through magic. Lan several trance exclusive attacks. He's appearance turns into an all green furry body.

Cherry Blossom: Lan's body dispels into Cherry Blossoms that spins around the enemy. From there, Lan can attack three time before the Cherry Blossom disperses to reform him.

Oceanic Haze: The air shimmers as if the person is underwater as Lan's body becomes distorted. From then, 3 full looking clones of him appears. The clones can attack by themselves, but the damage done by the clones is minor compared to Lan.

Fall Breeze: An image of the Masamune is tossed into the air and lands halfwary infront of the enemy. Lan then teleports infront of the image and shatters it into 10 pieces, sending the now materialized shattered sword pieces into the enemy.

White Blade Storm: Five exact copies of the Masamune appears around the enemy as points in a star with Lan at the top of the point. Lan speeds to each sword slashing at the enemy equal to how many slash he did previously with the final strike coming in the form of a pillar of energy in the shape of the star he traced out.
ie. Lan to first sword = 1 slash total
First sword to second sword = 2 slash total
second sword to third sword = 4 slash total
third sword to forth sword = 8 slash total
forth sword to fifth sword/ Lan starting point = 16 slash total + 1 pillar of energy

Two Katanas Lan has on his back that goes into the same sheath at both end. The bigger katana is called mura while the smaller one is called masa.

Bio:

Lan was born one years after exploits of Zidane and his group throughout Gaia. During this time, his family were traveling to Oelivert with a group led by Mikoto when they were attacked by Monsters. During the fighting, His parents died protecting him from the attacks. With few survivors remaining and no one willing to raise Lan, Mikoto took it upon herself to raise the boy and giving her last name to him. Through her, Lan learned a bit of the genome history and from her, the Tales of Zidane.

At the age of seven, Lan was playing with other children of Oeilvert when an unknown warrior came to their area to settle down. Seeing that the warrior did not have any weapons on him, Lan asked the man how he managed to get to Olivert unarmed. The man smiled as he told Lan about his ability as a monk though he also stated he was a samurai as well. Enticed by abilities of the man, Lan asked to become a student under the man. The man agreed to train Lan.

After nine years of intense training, the unknown warrior parted ways with the Genome boy telling him to learn more about the world. As a parting gift, the unknown warrior handed Lan his first weapons, the two katana, Muramasa he used to use as well as a map with directions toward the Kingdom of Alexendria. After leaving the village, Lan made his way to Alexendria. Not having enough money for regular repair works for the Katana, Lan quickly learned how to fight with his hands and feet. While not as reliable as his swords, it saved Lan many times in fights he would have died if he had only relied on his swords. Reaching Alexendria, Lan's story starts.

One for herself and the other for her 'beloved' who ever she declares. Her eyes are violet matches the slight tan on her skin while a simple ribbon is tied on her head.

Personality: Remilia is a cheerful girl with a love for adventure. While her love for adventure is tolerated by many, the one thing she can't tolerate is overtly flirtatious people. Due to her good looks, she gets many people who wants her as their wife, and the result is her intolerance.

Burst Energy: Rise or fall through the air and creates a quick flare explosion in front of Kuja. If close to the opponent, create a large flare sphere to strike multiple times and explode to knock them back. If further away, follow up with a barrage of holy orbs from all directions.

Ring Holy: Fire three rings of holy energy that slowly track the opponent.

Seraphric Star: Throw a sphere of holy magic forward that builds energy and explodes.

The five holy orbs sticks with Remilia, but beyond the basic shoot themselves at the enemy, return, and form a barrier around Remilia, the orbs can't be used. On top of that, Remilia gains access to the Zodiac Summons.

Weapon: Remilia has no weapons. But instead, uses 5 holy orbs that floats around her to attack.

Bio: Remilia was born a one year after the events of kuja and Zidane. Born into the city of Dali, Remilia lead the rural life enjoying the peace that came with it. That peace came to an end for Remilia when she got her hands on the stories of Zidane and his efforts to save the world.

Wishing to know the wonders of the world, at age 10 Remilia packed her things and traveled across the globe before making her stop at the black mage village. It was then that after a quick examination of Remilia, they discovered that she had a unusually large magic pool that rivals all the best mage in the world. If left alone, the magic pool would turn Remilia from a human into a being of the Mist long before she could handle it. This startled Remilia a bit as she asked them for a way to restrict her magic pool. After thinking for three days, the Black mages devised five orbs with Holy fixed into it. They figured that since Holy was one of the strongest magic spells in the world, it would be enough to drain Remilia's magic pool into reasonable range. Remilia tried it and found that it was enough though she asked the Black mages to put in a float spell on the orbs. To this day, the Black mages swear that Remilia had the float spell added just for cosmetics.

After studying under them for 3 years, Remilia left the village and made her way to Madeen Sari. There, she learned of her summoner's heritage and began to study under the elders there. Eventually, after 3 years her sense of adventure led her out of Madeen Sari. Making her way back to Alexendria, Remilia decided to stay there for a few days so she can start planning on her next location.

@Baseret: A bit of nitpick, can't really be born a few years after the events of Kuja and Zidane and yet be 17. Remember, the RP is set 17 years after FF9. :P

But other than that, both of your characters as well as Aaron's ( Kirito ) is accepted.

Mei has medium length grey hair which goes down to about her shoulder level, she also wears a rounded white cap on her head. She wears a blue dress that goes down to around the middle of her hips, this dress also contains long white sleeves that go along her arms. She wears a yellow belt around her waist as well as a blue collar around her neck. Mei wears short blue socks with her blue shoes with a yellow x on the top of the foot. For accessories she has a yellow cross hairclip in her hair, she also wears what looks like 4 grey wings, but this is just a part of her style. Finally she wears fingerless gloves so she has access to reading the book she carries with her.

Personality:

Mei has leant to fend for herself over the years, she not an easy cookie at all. She has the kind of personally of if your nice to her, then she shows kindness back, but if you do something against her or do something behind her back, you will know about it. She always loves finding out new information about the people that shaped the world, she also loves researching into the history of the world. In her spare time Mei loves to read, she also loves to write stories and tales about the worlds history

Weapon: Staff – Mel carries a rather long staff, with a white handle that turns yellow near the end, and then finally turns blue at the bottom. The top of the staff contains a yellow circle with a yellow cross inside. The staff gains in length and the cross section on the top gets longer in trance mode.

Bio:

Mei life started just like any other normal child’s life was, born in the village of Madian Sari, She lived there peacefully with her mother and farther as she was a lonely child. Her parents use to go to the town developed by the gnomes called Oeilvert to visit and see how the other gnomes were doing. After leaving for one of these visits, her parents went missing, never to be seen again. Aged 7, and with no parents, Mei was brought up by a lone man, who had limited power in summoning. Unlike other summoners, Mei know very few summons, and preferred to not use them in battle, instead she used her staff to attack. At the age of 15, the man bringing her up died, alone once again, Mei left the village to seek answers to why her parents never returned to the village.

After some travelling, Mei found the Black Mage Village, looking for a new way to fight; she arrived at the village sto see a black mage. A black mage within the village taught her the power to summon elements, and how to control them. Mei became a powerful black mage with the power to summon powerful spells, Lightning spells were her speciality as she loved thunder. After finishing this, the mage started teaching her about the history of the world, and told her about the gnomes that moved to Oeilvert. After falling in love about the history of the world, Mei finally left the black mage village, with the goal of finding out about the world’s history, it secrets, hidden past, and the reason for her parent’s disappearance. Mei has been travelling across the world of Gaia ever since, never finding out the truth, but discovering a lot of unknown secrets about the world of Gaia.

Atalanta stands at 200 cm (6'7") and weighs about 70 kg (154 lbs). A Giant among women, Atlanta is tall, and physically fit. She has long reddish-pink hair that extends to her upper torso and golden yellow eyes. Her skin and complexion is fair with a tattoo of some ancient Greek Markings on her forehead.

Atalanta's attire consists of a yellow jacket with black fur lining the coat. Underneath is a black sleeveless shirt with steel plates guarding the upper chest area. A Black Short Pants going down to her upper thigh is ordained with a ornate belt design consisting of gold circles around a blue gloss and gold trim around her waist. Atalanta wears white stockings that extend up to her knees and metal shoes.

Personality:
Atalanta's Personality is that of bubbly, calm, sure of herself and open to everyone, Atalanta is very confident in her abilities and very warm-hearted, always taking care of her friends, no matter who they are.

Atalanta can be quite a flirt sometimes. Her pretty face and her model size work to her advantage, although her being tall for a woman and with strength to match means she is somewhat less effect in appeal to men who are conscious about strength or height. Nonetheless, she doesn't let that bother her one bit. Atalanta is oriented towards a bisexual.

She is fiercely protective of her "sister" Vanessa, and is determined to teach her to live a free life. However her timidness and shyness around others has often let to some disappointment towards her, ever so careful to try and break that habit. Atalanta refuses to see Vanessa get hurt or taken advantage of and will attack those who would do so.

Atalanta as a Berserker uses her senses and Instinct to track down and defeat opponents. Her fighting style revolves around her ability to go into varying degrees of her Berserker Rage.
-Berserk: Atalanta can shift between varying degrees of the Berserker state. She can range from being calm and composed, to a more feral manner, albeit whilst still keeping a good deal of reason, to her max berserker state where she act in an almost animalistic manner. The closer she gets to her max berserker state, the more power she can wield, to the point of making her strength at superhuman or near-superhuman levels.
-Cripple: Atalanta can move in to strike at a target, breaking bones and rending flesh with ease.
-Mad Rush: Atalanta, in a fit of rage, can engage multiple targets and knock them down with her fists.

Trance:
Her Instinct ability becomes Brutality as she glows a purple glow. Her strength is increased by 50%, as well as acquiring new abilities exclusive to this form.

-Crackdown: Atalanta can, with a well timed and well placed attack, strike an opponent and pierce their shield.
-Howl: Atalanta's vitality is doubled, allowing her to take more punishment without actually healing. However it is a one-time only move.
-Furor: Atalanta can gather energy around her and use it to blast back anyone around her in a powerful explosive gust of wind.

Weapon:
Atalanta's Weapon is a 5 foot longsword with a golden handle, known as the "Calydonia". The Sword's guard are shaped like pikes and has a purple jewel at the center. The blade is made of a steel and bronze alloy, and thus maintains it's brownish tint.

Atalanta is also a capable fist-fighter, her immense strength capable of taking on and defeating a weaker opponent with a single fist to the head. She

History:
Atalanta Eudokia Kamaterina Palaiologos was born in the Archbishopric of Esto Gaza. The daughter of religious pilgrims hailing from Alexandria, Atalanta was instilled with the beliefs of the local customs there. Growing up, she was the last person to be considered to be a mercenary. Yet at the age of 13 after her mother's death, the city was visited by the Genomes of the Terran Spring, (the original pioneers who would eventually settle and found the Kingdom of Ipsen) A few Genomes saw the girl and her developing physical strength and height (at the time she was roughly 5 1/2 feet tall).

At her father's reluctance, they allowed her to come with the group on the pilgrimage. Along their travels, the Genome's taught her about combat, using her rage to increase her attack power while using the fighting skills learned from physical combat with the various monsters living in the area.

After a few years, as a result of her training and natural body growth, Atalanta was now capable of wrestling even the mighty Catoblepas, a tough creature native to the southern country with relative ease. She finally left the country in 1807 and decided to put her skills to work as a mercenary.

Over the next four years, Atalanta travelled throughout Gaia and even saw her services through the Oeilvert Civil War before she was hired by King to serve as his bodyguard in Treno, which she served for a couple of years. During her time in Treno, she had come home to find her home burning down, and a young girl trapped inside. Atalanta was able to rescue her and nurse her back to health, and upon learning about her potential as a mage and the knowledge she represented, went on to take her along for mercenary work.

Atalanta still continues her work as a mercenary, now operating independently from her new home in Treno.

Mobius64 & Stevie: The former, I had a good time reading that wall-o-text, and everything checks out. I may have something in mind for you concerning your character in the future, just like what I had planned for Robert Crescent in the Original RP. Stevie's bio looks amazing, both your bios are accepted, and will be put up on the front page.

I'm also currently editing the timeline (found on the info log), specifically, the area around 1760-1817.
 
Name: Ricard Fairne

Age: 17

Race: Human

Appearance: Ricard is somewhat lightweight for his station as an Alexandrian Pluto Knight having a more athletic build as opposed to a bodybuilder look, he stands at 5”10 and possesses a somewhat sharp featured face. He has elbow length dark brown hair which is kept neatly brushed and light green eyes, his complexion is rather healthy looking and is free of the usually associated blemishes of teenagers.


He wears standard issue Pluto Knight armour which is more for decoration than actual combat use, as such Ricard only wears it when he is ordered to. Beneath his armour he wears light brown trousers with a white shirt and a brown sleeveless vest over it.


Personality: On the outside, Ricard tries to act responsible for people, to try and affirm his place as a leader to others. Ricard also has a bad habit of falling into a romantic mindset, believing those that are overly close or kind to him hold special interest to him. This can lead to people thinking of him as a fool, Ricard tries to stay laid back unless the situations calls for his attention which can come out as an instantaneous switch.

Abilities:
Secret Tech: A sword art involving techniques not known to the military, while Ricard has no mastery over it completely he still has some level of control over it, able to perform actions such as generate air waves and cut through objects with the outside unscathed.


Wind Blade: Using a quick draw of his blade, sends out a high speed blade of concentrated air.


Merciful Cuts: Slashes a target repeatedly, leaving the outside unharmed while the inside gets cut to pieces.


Spirit Slash: A single slash with physical contact on an enemy, has no effect on physical creatures but is fatal to magical or spiritual monsters.


Black Sword: Essentially Sword Magic, only it is possible to perform it without a Black Mage present. Though the effects weaken with one absent as well as restricting the spells possible with this ability.


Flame Sword: Wreathes his sword in flame and unleashes the fire property as a shockwave, upon contact with a physical object it explodes


Lightning Edge: Wreathes his sword in lightning and unleashes the lightning property by plunging his sword in the ground and sending the electricity upwards through the ground as small pillars


Trance: Allows Ricard to dual weild katanas, boosting his speed and giving him greatly enhanced forward momentum.

Weapon: An almost generic katana to the untrained eye, a specially customised katana for his own use designed by his father.

Bio: Born into a family of travelling Nomads in the Mist Continent, Ricard was trained as a fighter from a young age in an art unknown to the outside world involving the use of a weapon rarely seen in today's world. As well as learning the gift of the 'blade that can cut all' he was also taught of the vast potential of nature and life itself, though also of how at times destruction is needed to beckon forth grand creation. As such he took on balanced ideals of battles worth fighting. As he grew he was also raised on stories of great warriors in the land such as Zidane, Beatrix and Fratley giving him a large level of appreciation and respect for these brave warriors who gained power and skill without giving up who they really were in the process.


As time ticked on and Ricard matured into a teenager the Nomad tribe passed by the town of Alexandria where Ricard's curiosity of their warriors intrigued him, even moreso upon hearing of Beatrix being a resident here. Impulsively he sought out to meet her, in his eyes what he lacked in experience he could cover in what skill he had as his intent was to request a duel with her. Though he was instantly denied that before he even got to see her for himself. Retreating to a tavern in the area he met Adelbert Steiner, the husband to Beatrix, in his eyes he saw Beatrix as the more skilled one in a fight and saw defeating him as a way to demand a duel with Beatrix.


Upon short introductions he suggested a duel with Adelbert in order to test his inexperienced hand in swordplay, which was only a half lie. After some repeated requests Adelbert caved in as they took to the plains outside while a small collection of townsfolk gathered around to watch the friendly duel, among them a girl barely younger than himself caught his attention standing by a much older woman, presumably her mother, something about her seemed oddly familiar. Ignoring it he readied his Katana sheath, keeping the Katana inside as he got into a battle stance, with Adelbert unsheathing a standard Broadsword. While Ricard was easily faster and more skilled with his weapon, as well as using a style that Adelbert was unfamiliar with he couldn't match Adelbert's combat experience and adaptability which inevitably ended in a stalemate with neither side backing down.


Eventually the duel was called to a draw, both acknowledging one another's skills as they shook one another's hands and everyone returned to their daily lives. Not too long after this was he met by a messenger from the Alexandria Castle to join their Military which since the retiring of the former Pluto Knights were in need of refilling the ranks, especially so now that Adelbert Steiner, the former captain had left his post. His duel to a draw with him had piqued the Royalty's curiosity into aquiring him as a soldier. Seeking a chance to prove himself and wanting to find out the identity of the woman he accepted the offer, becoming Pluto Knight IV.


The days, as one would expect of a time of peace were immensely dull, though when the thought of quitting the Military for a more fulfilling occupation he had a chance encounter with Annelise Steiner who he quickly recognised as the young girl who watched his duel with her father, having a strange feeling he couldn't pinpoint as respect, admiration or something entirely different. Trying his best to shrug it off he decided to stay, he could sense something was going to happen if the daughter of two great heroes was getting into the Military in a time of peace.

She is a fairly short girl for her age, standing at 5"1 and bearing a very petite frame, she has long, light blue hair reaching her lower back and has light blue eyes and light coloured skin. On her head she wears a traditional witches hat and she wears a white jacket over a dark purple corset and black miniskirt. On her feet she wears thigh highs and small heeled black shoes.

Personality: A very quiet girl, growing up she had a naturally assertive yet secretive persona around others, as people rarely accept her due to her powers she has grown into a superiority complex to those who fight, seeing them as beneath her or as rabble, unwilling or unable to accept those who only seem to excel in combat.

Around soldiers in particular, she can be cold and malicious, preferring the company of silence or books over social activity, she is however a force to be reckoned with if one were to provoke her into being motivated enough to fight.


Class: Black Mage


Abilities: Black Magic


Trance: Transforms into an entirely different form, which also changes her personality. Becoming incredibly sadistic with an inclination to turn everyone she has interest in into her pets, with a love of torture for those she does not. In this state she can be your greatest ally and your worst enemy. The only type of people she won't torture in this state are those who don't respond to her pain, or simply enjoy it.

Trance Abilities: in trance Vanessa's staff changes into a bladed whip and her physical strength increases to match her magical aptitude.

Weapon: Uses a metal staff with a resemblance to a cane with a crescent moon shaped head, it is through this she channels and increases the power of her spells.

Bio: Vanessa had been an orphan since as far back as she can recall, since she was able to think for herself she had learned to steal and break into people's homes. On one such break in she was half starved already due to increased security and after finding some cold meat, proceeded to cook it there and then, using a fire spell as a makeshift campfire it didn't take long for it to catch the wooden floors and begin to engulf the house in flames.

With Vanessa trapped, she couldn't do much to escape, let alone being weak from hunger when suddenly she heard a smash of glass, followed by being lifted up by a large creature and carried out of the burning house. Before she could determine what was going on she lost conciousness, when next she awoke she found herself laid in a bed, compared to where she normally slept there was nowhere comfier for her. Finding a small tray of food next to her caused Vanessa to act purely on instinct, devouring the food in front of her before looking around her surroundings. Eventually getting out of the comfort of the bed Vanessa realised she had been dressed in a red gown and wasn't able to find her old rags anywhere. Leaving the bedroom she soon encountered a giant of a woman, somewhat overwhelming she assumed her to be a kidnapper, instinctively launching a small fire spell at her. After a long lecture on magic safety Vanessa was soon enrolled into a school to better educate her with modern times, as well as hopefully get her some control.

This however, didn't go entirely to plan, Vanessa shut out other people and just read books all day, eventually coming across magic books, giving her greater access to her powers as well as expanding on them. By the time Vanessa was finished with school her powers had expanded by a noticeable amount, sufficient enough that Atalanta, the woman who cared for her, allowed her to join her in mercenary work, seeing her magic as a boon to her performance.

This was probably where Vanessa found the most joy, taking an almost sadistic pleasure in tormenting captured enemies or slowly killing them off with her powers, though she kept this pleasure in check around others, keeping herself stoic so as not to alarm allies.
