[SU/D] - Spirit Shards

Ok so my next post I will make it 'morning', and we will all head to the town with the first temple. Atm we are split into 3 groups :hmph:

There will probably be guards at the town now because of the king, they will be looking out for suspicious people specially those traveling in a big group of 5.

Yo pinky, Like I asked before (you failed to respond to my second post lol) Do we have an idea of the order of the temples because I have finals barking at my door and man college finals suck...

forest temple will be first for relucesco and Fire temple will be first for Umbra :)

sorry, I thought i answered your question :( obviously I forgot

Hmm well looks like we need to find another RPer for Umbra Team, Justice Ramza has had to drop out :(

Licky, Are you still interested in joining? :)

So how do you plan on joining us? Maybe seeing us fighting the orcs and jumping in?

Also won't this throw off the Kings plans for Umbra? I mean doesn't he have a small clue how we look like, now there is gonna be someone new XD.

Well the lord dude doesn't exactly know what they look like.

I was thinking of having Justice's character die by orc, then his soul or something sinks into the earth and the goddess just recycles it and passes on 'chosen one' status to Licky.

Then he can have his character start off doing whatever, hear the goddess tell him he is now a chosen one, give him the palm seal and then he can choose to meet us if he likes :)

So the gods can just replace the chosen ones once they die until an outcome has been made. (That will help for any future drop outs if they occur) :P

Well that sounds pretty swell, are there any requirements/specifications you need me to fit, how much of a free reign do I have? Also it's unlikely I'd have time to read the entire thread without majorly holding you up, so a brief summary would be very much appreciated.

For Umbra is simple really. We all met up in the main town, visited the temple received our marks and mission about collecting the shards. Told Reclusso was our enemies, then we left town down the mountain path and were attacked by orcs.

:hmmm: well you can create your character how ever you like so long as they're not too over powered. People in Umbra are usually Warriors rather than mages but you can have a mage if you really want to.

It's always night time in Umbra as well. They're born from a tree called the Tree of Life, Women are very rare in their world.

So far we've fart assed around a bit, our characters all met at the temple where they got their mission/quest thing, then they went to a pub, discussed what to do next, then they left the first town 'Eternus', accidentally gave themselves away to a guard who informed the Lord who has his own motives for collecting the shards. Now we're on the Baron road fighting a horde of Orcs while on our way to the next town called Colligo where the first Shrine is.

So your character can either meet us at Colligo or meet us at the Baron Road :)

Oh and all 5 of them have to be present at the shrine in order for it to open for them.

Information Thread has all the details of everyones characters, about the shrines and the town lists for each planet :)

Name: Indigo West (#18c6)

Age:
25

Gender:
Male

Planet:
Umbra

Village:
Colligo

Race:
Human

Appearance:
Indigo is approximately 6 foot 2 inches, and has a wiry build. Though wiry he has broad enough shoulders, and is by no means lanky or scrawny. His muscles are well defined but ropey not bulky, his physique is not dissimilar weathered wood. His skin is pale white, but generally covered in a layer of grime and dirt. His body is covered with scars and blemishes from his past in the fighting pits. His most notable scar takes up most of his left cheek, the left side of his jawline, and neck. It's a tangle of faded pink and white scars, where half his face was crushed. His skull and jaw were reconstructed but his skin did no heal so well, it looks almost like someone glued his face back together.

His hair is a messy black scraggle, that descends down to an inch or two above his shoulders in an uneven line, due to the fact he often cuts it himself. His eyes are a washed out pale grey colour. He wears a pair of dark ragged pants of indeterminate material and colour, though a dark denim would be the most likely candidate. The pants are somewhat baggy but fit him well and hang crookedly from his hips. A thick leather belt holds up his pants, closed by a faded silver clasp, two small leather bags hang from his left hip, and a small hand-axe is held in a small leather loop on his right.

On his feet are pair of pale brown boots that stop just above his ankle, though now cracked, broken and falling apart they were clearly once of exceptional quality. His pants are torn badly on the right leg, barely going below his knee, he still has a full trouser leg on the left, though it's very ragged.

On his top half Indigo wears a white collarless shirt made of pure cotton, it's just as filthy and ragged as the rest of him. It has three brass buttons just below the neck, two of which are permanently undone. His sleeves are always rolled up to the elbows

Personality: Indigo is a mute so naturally he is a very quiet individual, one who many also seem to believe is deaf. Due to his past as a pit fighter Indigo has almost no people skills, and has no real interest in interacting with people. He doesn't really care for anyone other than himself, and just enjoys being free to do as he pleases. He has no interest in subduing or accosting others in order to get what he wants, but conversely he has no interest in helping anyone. He tends to avoid confrontation or fights and will always walk away where he has the option, he has no problem with hurting anyone who lays a hand on him though. He has no problem with killing someone who intends to kill him either, though he would never shoot a man in the back so to speak.

Speciality:
Due to his origins Indigo is a monstrosity of physical power, everything about him is designed to maximise strength. His muscles are condensed to allow maximum power without compromising flexibility with bulk. His bones are much denser than a regular human in order to stop them shattering from the stress caused by the power of his muscles. His skin is like a regular person's normally, but increases in durability when pressure is applied. Think of it like one of those liquids that hardens to a solid when you suddenly hit it.

Anything with a sharp edge or enough force will still hurt him badly, also his internal organs are susceptible to damage. His lung capacity is also much reduced for a man of his size making him grow fatigued much quicker, as well as accelerating lactic acid build up in his muscles. His pain threshold has also been deadened partially, meaning he feels much less pain than pretty much anyone else. This allows him to take monstrous beatings and keep going, however it's a double edged sword. He doesn't notice ligament damage until all of a sudden he isn't able to move some of his limbs any more. As well as the fact he could be sustaining life-threatening injures and not know it

Weapon of Choice:
His own body, though he occasionally uses the axe at his belt

Armor:
Indigo has no armour

Bio:
Indigo doesn't have much of a past, like all his kind he was born of the Tree of Life. At a young age he was modified by a conglomerate of businessmen who partook in betting on illicit pit fights. A pit fight consists of two fighters placed in a circular pit with a diameter of two metres. The battles continue until one fighter can no longer remain conscious, though death is not uncommon. Indigo was created to be the ultimate pit fighter, intended to allow the conglomerate to fix fights.

Indigo was not the first fighter they created, nor would he be the last and was assigned the project number 18c6. It was due to this that he was created without the ability to speak, and only allowed into contact with his handler and the other fighters he would meet in a fight. For the first ten years, he was trained to fight, then released into competition. He rapidly ascended through the ranks becoming a high level fighter, and after every fight he was returned to his stable where he was kept till his next fight. He was neither content nor dissatisfied with his life, assuming this is how everyone lived.

It was ten years later at age twenty that Indigo finally became obsolete, the conglomerate had managed to create an improvement on him. At the time Indigo was the champion, and as such had to accept any challenges to his title, not that his keepers would have given him a choice. This simply made it easier for them to run the entire underground fighting scene from the shadows. The fight lasted mere minutes, the poor soul was punched with such force it shattered the entire left side of his jaw.

Due to his status as former champion he received medical treatment that saved his life and reconstructed his face. He was cast out by his owners however and left to wander the world. Indigo enjoys his current freedom and is happy just to keep on living in the world, though he is somewhat saddened buy the divide between light and dark. He would like to visit Reulesco one day...

Other:
Despite his strength Indigo is rather slow, barely faster than an average human male

Due to his upbringing he has never learned to read or write

He also has an incredibly passionate love of chocolate cakes

Cool Cool Cool. You're approved!

I'll write up that God speech for you soon and you can just chuck it into your post.

welcome to the Are Pea.

Double Post because I need to.

Licky

Two things about your post:

1. It is always Night time in Umbra, there is no sunlight, they've never seen light, their planet was created by the god of darkness so could you please change that bit? :)

2. Colligo is an underground mining city. They live right next to a volcano and most people who live there are miners, that means it's a pretty scummy and filthy area, Umbra is a filthy disgusting planet full of death and darkness and fighters.

Their only source of light is the light plants that is created by the Tree of Life, so they probably have those plants scattered around their towns and in lanterns and stuff :)

Could you just fix those tiny things up for me?

thank you :)

Also Everyone else, get ta postin' plz.
