Supernatural

I love this show. It mixes realistic semi-fantasy with hilarious jokes at every turn. I'm a dedicated fan!

But I do agree, a little more variety in the creatures would be nice. But it's still good, so I'm not complaining!
 
While I love Supernatural, the Angels/Demons storyline is getting pretty old. I thought Season 3 kind of dragged but it picked up a bit in Season 4. I still enjoyed the first season the most when there was a new supernatural creature every week. It's what got me into the show in the first place. I'll still watch though to see how Season 5 pans out.
 
I'm probably way behind everyone else here, but I just finished watching season 4 (I was waiting for the DVD to get cheap okay? :P) and I have to say that this is easily the worst season so far.

The stand alone episodes, which in my opinion were always the show's strong point, were mostly weak this time around. Some of them like "Monster Movie" and "Wishful Thinking" were just too silly, and others like "It's A Terrible Life" were just crap.

There's also been a distinct lack of scary stuff in season 4. Admittedly it was never the spookiest show on the planet, but it was always good for at least a handful of shockers every season. The only episode in season 4 I found spooky was "Family Remains", which I have to admit is one of my favourite episodes to date.

I really hope that season 5 is better than this.

I actually haven't seen the whole season(s) I've actually been watching random episodes on TNT and CW. I've recently been watching it online but, not from the first season. I'm all over the place with it XD.

I really enjoy the show though ^^; I heard that the sixth season is underway? I dunno, but i'm behind xD. I guess it doesn't really matter, I get what's going on ya know?
