As for me...

I woke up this morning to find that I must have perhaps been kissing my pillow, if that counts.

As for actual people. None. Not a lot changes on that particular front, and I’ve not suddenly morphed into Casanova at the stroke of midnight.

2. First thing you drink

I finished off the bottle of champagne that I was drinking.

3. First thing you ate

A piece of Toblerone, I think. Yes, it must have been.

4. first song you heard?
Whatever the name of the song was that started off the London fireworks on the TV. I'm ignorant as to what it was.

As for a song listened to by choice, that would be Killer by Seal and Adamski. Not sure why that song got that honour, I just had the urge. It was either that or Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now, by The Smiths. The latter would perhaps have portended a terrible future for the year. I wish to avoid this.

Possibly 'Happy New Year'.

A message saying 'Happy New Year', or words to that effect.

I have not yet read a book this year. The year is young.

I watched the QI Christmas special. It was quite interesting.
