[T] Next clan playthrough suggestion?

Silent Hill :jess:

I have 3 and 4 :hmmm: and i'd play Dino Crisis if I still had it, i'd LOVE a DC1 run :ohoho:

I think we'd scary Andry away if we played SIlent Hill though :sad3:

I have Silent Hill 2 and 3 and Parasite Eve. I do not have Rogue Galaxy. If it's really cheap, I may be willing to buy it though. :hmmm:

I love old PC Adventure games as well so I wouldn't mind the PC games either. :hmmm:

189, to you :hmph:

You're just jealous of my awesomeness :sad3:

If it were a collection of PC games, maybe. But it's console games, so... No. :mokken:

Also, what about Drakengard? Or any of the 2D FF games?
Drakengard I can do, but I would rather play the second one. The first one annoys the shit out of me at times.

I like FF13,
Shit taste in vidya. :hmph:

but if I try to replay it right now my head is going to explode. So no. :wacky:
In that case, by all means, go for it. :wacky:

Silent Hill?
imokaywiththis.jpg

Parasite Eve?
No.

Abe's Oddysee?
Meh, maybe.

Dino Crisis?
Hell no. :hmph:

I'd really rather not do an FF game tbh. :8F:
Same.

Rouge Galaxy does sound like fun, and maybe even Ringo's idea about an low end PC game. What game were you thinking or did you not have anything in mind?
I have a huge list of low end PC games that I can recommend... At home. And I'm not there at the moment... AGAIN.

However, off the top of my head, I can think of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines. It's low end, and a great fucking game. I would recommend it to anyone. And if your computer can't run it... Holy shit, you must be on an old ass computer. You just have to be in order to not run it. O_O

Best of all, the company that made it is gone, so you can pirate it and it wouldn't be illegal. :griin:

Pretty cheap, I've seen it go as low as $5.

KINGS QUEST

Noooo I'm not into PC gaming, Sims aside. Other than that, I can count the PC games that phase me with one hand.

My nephew told me the other day he had Code Veronica and that he'll let me have it/buy it, depends on his mood at the time. (My moneys on buying knowing my clan) So I think I'll be up for that. Mind, old RE games look like they'd leave me borderline. :wacky:

Yeah, seriously, number one PC game numerous times says they're doing something right. Besides, it's my guilty pleasure, I like it, spare me.

The only other PC games that managed to keep my attention for a while have been FFXI, Flyff, some online tactic-y game, and that's all that comes to mind, and even then none of the them hold a torch to the how long Sims kept me occupied.

Also, I was thinking actually, I haven't touched FFXII for a while, so I wouldn't argue with giving that a playthrough, maybe Vagrant Story or Parasite Eve, I could do with a reason to get them I guess.

Nope, it only explains that there are a lot of fucking morons that enjoy playing a real life simulator. :ffs:

Plenty of games have been #1 on the PC game list, and more than enough of them are overhyped shit. The Sims is no exception to that rule.

Because I like you, I'll spare you. :ahmed:

Perhaps you should try out more PC games then. I can hardly classify The Sims as a game.

I just don't think we should rule out PC games as a legitimate option. Not all of us have the video games listed, or even the consoles. However, every last one of us has a PC capable of running lower end PC games.

It isn't going to kill anyone to try something new for a change. Just think of it as a chance to broaden your horizons. :mokken:

Even me, Ringo? :sad3:

Also, only PC game i've ever played and enjoyed is Technomage, which I don't think ANYONE has :hmph:

I managed to get up to what I THINK was the last dungeon, some kind of castle thing :hmmm: got stuck on the puzzles :sad3:

I'd love to pick it up again :ryan:

It'd make for amusing playthrough diary entries with how stumped I get on it

It definitely did have those moments. :hmph: Still a very fun experience, though. :griin:

Either way it goes, whether we play a console or a PC game, I still plan on participating. I put my PC game suggestion in, and I'm sure everyone here would play it, and I know everyone has a computer capable of playing it. However, I doubt we do, too many people are neophobic. :ahmed:

Hell, at times, I would still like to get all of us on a MMO, whether it be a MMORPG or a MMOFPS. :hmmm:

I'm sorry, no, that's bang out of order to say that. I can't let that one slide. Just because you don't understand the enjoyment some people get out of something doesn't immediately mean you can rule it off, class them as morons, and call it overhyped.

I don't see the enjoyment of friggin' Call of Duty, yet look at that, a fucking world wide sensation. In fact, I friggin' hate it, shooters already don't sit well with me, but CoD is among my most hated. But hey, a lot of people in the world find appeal behind it, and even though I personally don't see it, I'm gonna respect their views and let them get on with it, no skin off my back.

I've also tried a lot of PC games, I have friends and relatives who get into this sort of thing and venture into the Indie gaming industry as well, alas, hardly any of the games they've got me to try have made a powerful enough impact on me to remember their names.

Either way, mind, we can always do a seperate playthrough again like we did last time. Offer something for everyone, sorted.

I wouldn't mind joining in with a group MMORPG, just my issue of boredom and my computer issue of not being able to handle good ones :sad3:

Ooh i'm in a Technomage mood now :sad3:

Obviously, you don't know me very well. :wacky:

I've ruled it off, I've classified them as morons, and I'm calling it overhyped. :ryan:

By all means, you're more than welcome to get home from a hard day at work to load up the Sims just to go to work in a video game. However, I really hope you don't mind of me thinking less of you for it. :griin:

I hate CoD too, (common ground :yay: ) and find their fascination with it stupid, and more than often enough, I find the majority of them to be morons. There are exceptions to that rule, though.

Most indie games won't. But then again, maybe the beauty of them are wasted on you. The Sims is a pile of ass, a waste of time, and a waste of potential that could be used to make a much better game.

I hate to use this as another example, but Minecraft was made by one man, and in that game, I've gotten more enjoyment out of it that most mainstream games, and more than I could ever hope to out of a series as socially retarded as The Sims.

Either way, mind, we can always do a seperate playthrough again like we did last time. Offer something for everyone, sorted.
Oh sure, I'm always up for us not gaming together as a clan again. Hell, we've been doing it for quite sometime now, why not continue the trend? Why fix what obviously isn't broken?

That's what makes that idea so hard as a whole. Most MMO's require a medium setup to play. Then you have most of the people here that won't even have that. :sad3:

(Thank you, Tia. :D)

I've merged your double post, Ringo. And please tone it down a bit. There's no need to insult Sonny for his opinions.

Not everyone is going to enjoy the same games. It's a fact. I think that's the reason most of the playthroughs have been FF games. It's something we all have in common. Which ones did we all semi-agree on? RE and Rogue Galaxy? :hmmm:

I think it was a mix of RE, Rogue Galaxy, I think MGS came in too :hmmm: not sure what others were mentioned now :gasp:

I know, and I thanked you for it. :yay:

As for the insulting, I wasn't insulting him as much as I was the fanbase of The Sims, but your point still stands. I'll tone it down... But that's only because I like you. =3

So far, that's been the majority. I'm good with Rogue Galaxy and RE4, those are fine by me. :yay:
