[T] The Hideout

You could simply fight it on your normal difficulty until it is very low on health then just finish it off on whatever difficulty? Just make sure you're ready for the sudden jump in damage, of course. I read that tactic somewhere else online. :lew:

I tried that for something else, and it didn't give me the achievement for it.

Afraid it doesn't work that way, Jeff. :gasp:

On a somewhat related note, I bought two games today - CSI: Fatal Conspiracy and Dragon Age II. The guy who served me for DAII in Gamestation was all, "It's different" and so I just quipped back, "Yeah, I know. I've played it at my friend's here." The dude looked like he was trying to put me off. He didn't look impressed with the game. Nowhere near as nice as the other game in GAME, who was helping us look for a PS3 for my friend and got into discussion of gaming with him and some other man with us. xD

I thought DA2 was alright in terms of the story, but it did have some flaws in it. But if you like being a mage, then you will like the hell out of this game. :awesome:

Are you certain? :hmmm: One of the Wiki tips for one of the Origins bosses was to do this. It has been ages though, so perhaps a patch was put in place for it/I imagined it.

If I remember correctly, it was for the mission where
people are afraid to speak of a book of some kind or another. Eventually after gathering enough pages and/or info it takes you to the city in which the final fight takes place (I can't remember it's name). There is an old man of some kind in a back alley who transforms into some kind of beast that this tactic was advised for.

EDIT: I looked up the quest I mentioned and I guess I did imagine it. :sad3:

I've tried DAII already on my friend's PS3 and I love the battle system and graphics. I've had loads of people telling me that the storyline isn't as strong as the first one, but I accept that in most cases with films and TV shows as well as games. So I'm well prepared for that part. I'm tempted to play it now, but I just want to get through my DAO playthrough of me and Alistair together forever in the end. xD

Yes, I'm sad like that. :wacky:

The only thing that's sad is that there are thousands of fan girls that want him. Myself included. I've never actually liked a male video character as much as him. xD

Still nothing wrong with that. I should know, I'm in that list for someone, too.

Two days is officially a record for me to fully platinum a game. :gasp:

I was following a guide for the game, I'll admit, but I had to go through the first case three times because I wasn't doing it properly. Glad it's out of the way now, another platinum added to the collection! And I've got the piss easy DAII trophies done, too.

Now just to get that save done and import it for DAII. :jess:

I've just finished Dragon Age II.

What on earth was with that ending? I know that
Meredith was going to be defeated, but it just ended so ... suddenly if you know what you mean.
This gets me even more anxious and impatient for the third game now

The whole Templar-Mage War is going to be intriguing.

Yeah, it is going to be really interesting.

Which side did you pick?

Also, I started my FF9 run again. Got 95 on the jump rope, and got 98 on the fight scene. Still looking for an Eiko and a Quina, though. :hmmm:

I chose the mages, since
Bethany lived instead of Carver. I always liked her more than him, he seems like such a selfish cunt. xD

But I'll go for the templars on my next playthrough, I've got 85% of the trophies from the first run. And
I'm going to be a mage, so that Carver survives and Bethany lives. I'm sure that the game sets it up that you're actually a mage. Why else would all the shops have mage gear for Hawke!?

Yeah, it's set up that way for a reason. Also another thing, I HATED how you couldn't mess with anyones armor in this game. It pissed me off when i found something really good that went to waste because I couldn't change anything.

I wasn't too arsed about that if I'm honest. The whole making sure that everyone-had-the-best-armour-possible narked me right off. It was quite relieving for me just to alter Hawke's equipment and not everyone else's. :gasp:

At least the stuff that everyone wore looked cool, so it wasn't totally a bad thing. It just sucked having to find all of the armor upgrades for everyone.

I didn't bother to do it for everyone, I just went with the locations as I went along. And then once I got the trophy for upgrading for one person, I stopped right there. xD

I usually ended up with like 2 or 3 people getting all of them, and maybe 1 or 2 getting 3/4. The rest got screwed, and usually got only 1 or 2 things. :wacky:

I need to think of what to buy with my £10 Amazon voucher. I'm torn between Iron Man 2 and WET. There really isn't much choice when it comes to that amount budget wise. :gasp:

Hello..... everyone, forgive my lack of using this website in recent weeks, things within the personal life have hit an all time high, I am now employed as well as training for the Navy which i hope to be going in too very soon. Anyway enough of that :mokken: I'l try to make appearances on here when I can. and such, and Ami we need to start talking on MSN again...... it's weird :sad3:

Also get Iron Man 2 off Amazon I heard its easy to platinum. xD
