OOC: One letter coming up!
JIMMY:

Jimmy wrote a letter to Julius about the fact that the three SeeD members had been made captive by an unknown force and that by nightfall the Garden would be atacked by that same force, Jimmy requested for backup because a lot of SeeDs were on missions and most of the people in the garden were cadets still in training.

Then Jimmy gave the letter to a fellow SeeD member by the name of Kentaro to hurry and go to Nibelheim and deliver the letter...

Kentaro:"I should reach it in the morning you guys have to hold them up for the night!"

As soon as he departed Jimmy started preparing a strategy...Damo had already lined up the cadets and SeeD members!

Jimmy:"Alright everyone i have a major annoucement...Balamb Garden is about to be atacked by an unknown army..."

Everyone looked shocked.

Jimmy:"Settle down guys i have already called for backup but it will take a while for it to arrive! Until then we have to hold the enemies ourselfes a scout as informed me that we are talking about an army of about 5000 men, well armed and with 5 officials!"

Everyone started whispering once again...

Jimmy:"I know there is a big gap between our forces and theirs but we are SeeDs the elite military force of Balamb Garden when we first crossed the front gate we made a commitment to help the ones in need and to become one of the strongest soldiers in this land! I know you are scared...believe me i am too it´s not a shame to admit it but we have to stand together and FIGHT! If some of you can´t handle the pressure you can go...i won´t be angry with you!"

To his surprise nobody left they were ready to fight and defend the Garden at any cost...now came the hardest part the planning!


 
when the guard returned he said

guard: lord julius says to wait in the grand hall and he will recieve you when ready

*the guard handed FFGuy all his equipment*

FFGuy: sure i will await him there
 
Led by one of the maids, Shenorai walked into the living room. Shen sported her usual garb, swords and all, though neglected to bring her coat and breastplate with her to the hall. Though she tried not to show it, she appeared a little exhausted. Perhaps she had trouble sleeping last night? Seemed probable enough.

"You're looking well this morning, Julius," Shen called out to him as she came closer. Even in her slightly tired state, Shen still managed a smile upon seeing Julius. The food was already getting to her and the growl of her stomach showed it.

"Shall we eat, then?" she asked after an embarrassed chuckle.
 
Jimmy's words left the group of SeeD's and cadets stunned. Damo for one had only expected him to brief them on a rescue mission, or something along those lines. To defend Balamb Garden from an army of 5000 soldiers was a tall order; yet one he felt could be dealt with. Trying to maintain his usual ice cool exterior, Damo placed his hands behind his head and puffed out his cheeks, in his mind he was kind of a role model for some of the cadets. Whether that was the case or not was a different matter.

Damo: "Jimmy, I think the first plan of action should involve us splitting into groups and taking points around the Garden."

There was a noticeable atmosphere surrounding the SeeD's in particular. Most of them, including Damo, were new on the beat and had yet to prove themselves. There was a sea of furrowed brows from the cadets, some were shaking like little chiwawa's; they were terrified and had good reason to be.

Even Damo was a touch nervous, but tried to shield his apprehension from everyone. How would he look if people knew he was human and had nerves like everybody else?
It was too late to worry now, the army was seemingly on its way and Balamb Garden needed to prepare.

Damo: "I'd like to volunteer to be on the front line! I'll teach them not to mess with us!"

He unholstered Proeliator and began to load it, with dark gun-powder residue falling to the ground in the process. There was no intention of shying away from battle. He had never run away before and he wasn't going to start now.
 
"I am fine Lady Eterna, though I really hope you had a pleasant night the room we prepared for you."

Julius then turned his face to the guard and ordered him to bring the intruder to his presence.

"Guard, the prisoner. Bring him to me at once and unchained. I will take full responsibility if anything happens."

The guard bowed and then left to bring the prisoner to the Living Room.


Julius proceeded to enter the living room after bowing respectfully to Shenorai. He then pulled out the chair to help her sit and then he left for his own arm chair that was place on the far left side of the large table. The maids began to serve the guests the exquisite soup that was prepared. Julius then nodded his head in an approving manner and the maids served the guest something to drink. While Julius preferred wine he didn't knew if his guests would enjoy it as well.

Julius sighed happily and then smiled after drinking some wine. He then turned his attention to Shenorai.

"Lady Eterna, I sure hope you are enjoying the meal. I wonder where's Arthvader, I've sent one of the guards to look for him but he hasn't arrived."

Julius then closed his eyes and then turned his face to stare to the fireplace. He then continued to enjoy his meal. Suddenly the royal chef entered the room bringing the roasted turkey that was prepared a few minutes ago.

"Ah, it's here. Lady Eterna, I hope that the chef's cooking meets your standards. Please let us continue..."

In the meantime, a mysterious man with a long black coat and iron boots arrived saying that he brought a message from Sir Jimmy, the current headmaster of the SeeDs in Julius absence. The man was identified by the name "Kentaro" and he had a hurry to deliver this message to Julius. The guard allowed him to enter as soon as Kentaro showed his SeeD Insignia, the proof of his status as a SeeD of the Balamb Garden under Julius command.
 
JIMMY:

It was time to prepare the troops and prepare a strategy...Jimmy knew that his main objective would be to defend the walls around the Garden and hold the enemy off, currently there were around 3000 people in the Garden...of those 3000 people 2600 were still cadets or junior classmen...there were only 400 SeeDs, of those 400 SeeDs: 220 were SeeD Class E, 80 were SeeD class D, 50 were SeeD class C, 40 were SeeD class B and only 10 were SeeD class A the elite soldiers...

Jimmy:"Ok everyone here is how we are going to do things! I want all SeeD class B,D and E (including Damo) to form a line in front of the Front Gate, you will be the gunners party, as soon as you have a good shooting view you can start firing at the enemy! This wil hopefully slow them down... as soon as the enemy gets close enough i want you guys to com back inside and seal the front gate!
The Squad area is another possible entrance to the enemy so i want 25 SeeD class C along with the cadets who belong to my class and Gabranth class to support them and form a barricade!"
Newbie cadets will be assigned to protect the junior classmen, take them to the underground bunker and seal the acess there!
The remaining 25 SeeD class C will along with the remaining cadets and SeeD operatives defend the front gate it´s our main objective not to let the enemy cross it!!!!!!!! In case the enemy does cross it then retreat into 1st Floor Balcony were...we will make our last stand!
I want a few cadets and 5 SeeD class A gunners up at the balcony so they can shoot the charging enemy...if all goes well we can decrease their number to about half before they can even step inside the Garden!
Also both the cafeteria and infirmary will be used to shelter the injured and to gather supplies...especially pie!
All the other SeeD cadets class A and myself will be in charge and be dispersed both in the Squad and the front gate!
That´s it everyone assume your positions and good luck don´t ever let the fear get the best of you because we are all together in this and we shall succeed!"

The orders were given the cadets, SeeDs and junior classmen all assumed their positions, Jimmy activated the Gardens defense grid, basically it was a bunch of traps set across the area surrounding the Garden designed to delay any invading forces and induce fear into their hearts...

Soon the Garden would be a battlefield, and as the sun started coming down both fear, courage and hope occupied everyones heart.

Kentaro was allowed to enter the castle, and he rushed through the main lobby and went desperately to the living room in which Lady Shenorai Eterna and Lord Julius were enjoying a meal. Kentaro was breathing heavily, the worried expression he had could tell that something really bad was about to happen. Julius attention was caught suddenly as the doors which connected the living room to the main hall were pushed wide open and slammed side ways. Julius stood up from his chair and quickly turned around to see who was entering in such a way to the living room and interrupting his meal with Lady Shenorai.

Kentaro had his faced covered, and he placed his left hand on his chest seemingly trying to catch his breath and rest, though his desperation got the best of him for he took of the hood and revealed his identity to Julius. Julius quickly recognized his old friend Kentaro, one of the elite SeeDs that he left taking care of the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1>Balamb Garden </st1></st1:place>alongside Jimmy and the others. Without losing any more valuable time, Kentaro reached his pockets and presented a letter to Julius, it was from Jimmy.

Kentaro: “Lord Julius the Garden is going to be attacked!!! Please read the contents of the letter and you will understand…”

Julius was in shock, knowing that the Balamb Garden was going to be attacked alarmed him greatly. Julius made haste and broke the seal of the letter and then began to read its contents. The letter said that four members of the SeeDs were captured by an unknown enemy and that this same enemy sent one of his soldiers to assassinate the Leader of the SeeDs, which was Julius himself! Julius continued to read the letter and he discovered that the unknown enemy was going to lead a large assault on the Balamb Garden <st1:place w:st="on"></st1:place> with the sole intention of exterminating the SeeD organization. After finishing reading, Julius canceled all his plans and ordered the Head of the Royal Guards to assemble the troops. There were eight thousand men in the castle, but Julius couldn’t leave his home unprotected, so he decided to take two thousand and five hundred strong knights to assist the cadets and the junior classmen in the Balamb Garden<st1:place w:st="on"><st1></st1></st1:place>. Julius anger was fully aroused as he reached ran towards the main hall.

“Lady Eterna, I must leave to war. My old school, the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1>Balamb Garden </st1><st1></st1></st1:place>is under attack. As the Leader of the SeeDs is my responsibility to protect them from any harm. I beg your pardon for leaving you so abruptly Lady Shenorai, but I must make haste if I am to save my friends. Accept my sincerest apologies.”

Julius expression changed to one filled with anger and disgust. He brought his right fist behind his shoulder and, after gaining some temporal momentum, Julius punched the wall with rage.
<o:p> </o:p>
“These bastards will know what happens when they mess with my family. General!! Assemble the heavy cavalry; we march to the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1>Balamb Garden</st1></st1:place> at once!!! No time to lose!! The attack at the Garden will be tomorrow so we have less than 24 hours to get there in time.”

Julius went upstairs and into his room as fast as he could. Quickly he opened the door to his study and slammed the door behind him. After that he went towards his wardrobe and chained to his war outfit. Later after that, he put on his silver breastplate and was wearing a light chain mail underneath. On top of that he put on his long white coat and his necklace. He was also wearing his light leather boots and strong cloth pants with chains covering his legs. His belt was a waist armor that covered the upper part of his thighs and in the center of the belt; there was the Lion Heart Crest which was the only proof of Julius past. Quickly Julius reached his armory and armed himself with his Lion Heart Gunblade. He placed the gunblade on his back brought his other weapons with him; a silver handgun, a 4 feet long 1 inch wide cross shape silver sword, and a dagger. As soon as he finished, Julius went downstairs; the soldiers were ready to leave.

Before marching towards the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1>Balamb Garden</st1></st1:place> however, Julius turned his face to Shenorai and stared at her eyes for a few seconds. Later he lowered his sight and sighed.

“Shenorai, if you wish to join us I won’t stop you. If not then let me please ask you to take care of my castle alongside with Arthvader and Lady Vegnya during my absence. Vegnya is one of the greatest sorceresses of the kingdom; she will be of much aid if the castle is attacked.”
<o:p> </o:p>
Julius reaches the ground with his right hand and pulls out a single rose which he gives to Shenorai.
<o:p> </o:p>
“We shall meet again…That I promise”
<o:p> </o:p>
Julius then mounts on his horse and draws his Lion Heart gunblade aiming it towards the horizon. Still breathing heavily, Julius gives the order to march towards <st1:place w:st="on"><st1></st1></st1:place>Balamb Garden.
 
hey! wait up, you must be julius if your marching to war take me with you, this enemy i heard you speak of may be the enemy that sent me here!

*FFGuy draws his SAA and dragon katana*

think i can tag along, at least for now?

*when julius started to decide FFguy butted in*

Julius nodded his head and approved the stranger's participation in the war. Sure he was an unknown warrior that could possibly be a spy, but something inside Julius consciousness tells him to trust this man.

"Very well, you may come if that is what you wish. Now we go..."

Julius rode his horse as fast as he could leading his 2500 heavy cavalry towards Balamb Garden. Julius was just hoping that he doesn't arrive too late....
 
*FFguy thanked julius for his show of trust under the circumstances and summoned his pluto steed*

OOC: And so begins the battle:) i think the Battle at the Forgoten City AC from the Jukebox is the right theme for this one;)

JIMMY:

Night time had arrived...all was silent...rain drops started falling.

Jimmy:"Great just what we need rain..."

Suddenly the sound of drums could be heard in the distance...standing on top of a balcony Jimmy looked into the horizon and was amazed and terrified at the same time by what he saw...

Standing less than a kilometer away a wave of well armed men aproached the Garden, there were only foot soldiers with armours as dark as the night itself they probably used those dark armours to make it harder to hit them...the enemy front line carried large spears, they were well armed each equipped with a medium size iron sword and shield some of them even had axes...
Jimmy saw a dark figure riding what seemed to be a large beast it was probably the enemy leader he carried a long sword it looked like a Ragnarok but he could not see the enemy leader face because of the night sky and due to the fact that he weared a cloack.

Suddenly a loud explosion was heard, Jimmy smiled to the sound of the explosion because it ment that the enemy had fallen on the first trap...
Surprised by such event the enemy forces started moving faster and screaming like wild animals...the enemy leader made a single movement and they started running in the direction of the Garden...

Jimmy:"All right gunsmen on my count...FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The gunsmen opened fire and just like that...the battle had begun!


 
*FFGuy started setting up camp while julius was pacing impatiently waiting for daybreak so he could set off to advance to balamb garden before the battle was lost so FFGuy settled down julius and spoke to him*

pacing around will only make you tired, i know the garden means a lot to you but tiring yourself will not keep you in good enough condition for the battle tomorrow.

*after these words julius kept still probably thinking about the words while holding a rose so FFGuy continued with the camp leaving julius with his thoughts*
 
Julius was running out of patience, it was already night and the gunshots could be heard from afar coming from the direction that leads to the Balamb Garden. From the hills he could see smoke coming from the north, a huge battle seems have taken place there.

As Julius ordered the last of the knights to prepare for the battle, the cadets at the Balamb Garden were fighting the battle for their lives. Julius knew that if he delayed his movement, it would be too late once they reach the Garden. Knowing the region quite well, Julius summoned his strategists and arranged a meeting in order to determine the best possible route to reach the Garden in time. The tent was big enough for a moderate group of people to arrange a big reunion. The men sat down around a large table in which a map of the region was placed showing their location and the possible routes."


Julius: "The forest near Balamb Garden can be used as a way to secretly move our troops, but if we are to do so we must go as soon as possible."

*Strategist 1: "Sure but the forest is dangerous during the night, and we could suffer some casualties."

*Strategist 2: "We could use the mountain path, but that would take us a whole day to reach the Garden."

*Julius: "We obviously don't have one day to reach the Garden."

Julius then turns to face FFGuy and summons him to the reunion.

*Julius: "Very well, what do you suggest?"
 
The first wave of soldiers appeared from over the horizon, baring their teeth and charging towards the garden; this was it. Damo un-holstered Proeliator and began to spin it around his finger. Biding his time and waiting for that first unfortunate soldier to bare the brunt of his flaming bullets, Damo pointed his mamoth pistol forwards.

Damo: "Come on you bastards, bring it on!"

Before he had the chance to take aim, a small, nieve group of cadetes charged though with their weapons high in the air, prime targets for the more experienced soldiers they were facing.

Damo: "Argh, idiots!"

One cadet jumped high into the air preparing to strike down, when suddenly he was struck through the chest with an arrow; sending him down to the ground with a sickening thud.

Damo: "Archers?!
Keep your wits about you men, don't make yourself an easy target now!"

Upon finishing his speech, he quickly looked up to see an enemy soldier above him, about to strike with his spear. With pinpoint accuracy, Damo unleashed a fatal shot to the head of the soldier, the only part not encased within armour. The front line were holding up well, each SeeD as well trained as the last; no wonder the enemy wanted them dead.

The first wave was nearing it's end, with seemingly the weakest of the roster being sent out like lambs to the slaughter; it was only going to get harder. The rain was beating down hard onto the ground, onto each member of SeeD and added to the mood of death and violence.
From out of no where charged a new line of soldiers, armed with swords, spears and axes. They were all dangeorous foes with potential to cause serious problems, take your pick; there was no easy option.

Damo: (So, this is what being a SeeD is all about, is it?
So be it. I didn't sign up to pick flowers now did I.")

"Heads up guys, here they come again!"
 
*upon hearing julius he answered after deep thought*

how about taking ships and entering from the sea with a small unit to ambush them from behind, while the remaining force can form a pincer between the enemy army and strike them while aiding the ambush party?
 
JIMMY:

The cadets near the front gate were doing a good job almost one thousand of the enemy forces had perished...but they had gotten to close, Jimmy quickly runned to the front gate and ordered everyone to get inside the Garden!

Jimmy:"Everyone inside now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

As Jimmy said this one of the enemy soldiers tryed to slash him in the head with his sword, Jimmy ducked just in time and punched the soldier in the stomach and then gave him an uppercut finishing him off...suddenly another soldier carring an axe atacked Jimmy from the back, Jimmy quickly drew his rod hitting the soldier in the head and killing him...

The cadets and SeeDs started getting inside the garden while others provided cover...Jimmy saw Damo still in his position firing bravely at the unfortunate souls who crossed his line of fire.

Jimmy:"Damo get inside too hurry!"

The enemy forces were charging more and more...but Jimmy knew how to slow them down...

Jimmy:"Gravity control decrease!"

Jimmy used his gravity atack to lift about twenty soldiers in the air and send them crashing in the ground killing them instantly...such atack took Jimmy a bit of his energy but he knew he had to keep it together.

Everyone got inside the front gate there were already a bunch of cadets injured and a couple of SeeDs as well...they were taken to the infirmary.

Jimmy ordered the gunsmen left to form a line near the front gate because as soon as the enemy crossed it they would have a breeze of bullets greeting them. In the balconies the situation was not looking very good a SeeD class A had died after being pierced with enemy arrows while most of the cadets were injured.
Jimmy ordered them to get inside and assist the members near the Squad...

By now Balamb Garden was surrounded by the enemy forces there were more than three thousand enemy soldiers still alive and from the outside Jimmy could hear the enemy general...

Enemy General:"Break that gate into pieces!!!!!!!And you guys turn around and try and enter from the Squad area!!!"

Upon hearing this Jimmy left Damo and a few other SeeD class A in charge of the front hall and runned to the Squad and just in time to witness a dark sight...

Julius considered greatly the man's suggestion, and decided to put it to some use. There were 12 hours left before sunrise, so they had to make haste and begin now. Julius stood firmly and saluted everyone, his eyes were almost emotionless for he had no other objective in mind than destroying his enemies.


Julius: "Very well, I'll let you in charge of the naval squad. You'll lead a 1000 of my troops through the sea while I'll lead the remaining 1500 in a frontal attack. If this works, we just might be able to stop them before they cause any more problems. By the way man, I never asked your name?"

Julius stood before the mysterious man, waiting for his reply.
 
my name?.....

it is......*awkward silence*

that is not important right now!, what is important is getting rid of that army.

this strategy meeting is over, everyone get some rest and prepare for the inevitable battle tomorrow
 
JIMMY:

As Jimmy reached the Squad he saw already the enemy soldiers climbing the wall some of them were even able to get inside but a bunch of students quicklu neutralized them, jimmy cut down two of the chains the enemy forces were using to climb the wall and broke the neck of an enemy trooper with his own hands...

Suddenly in the distance he saw some kind of light it looked like a cannon...all Jimmy saw next was a beam of light hitting him and a few other students which completely pushed him back an knocked him against a wall...

Jimmy:"Ugh....what the hell was that!?"

He saw a fellow SeeD laying dead next to him when he looked up he saw an enemy soldier preparing to kill him....Jimmy gave him a punch to the stomach and broke his neck.

The other students wre shocked by the energy beam that had just hit them but kept fighting...Jimmy was finally able to gain his composure but what if another beam came?
 
((Jimmy, we shall depart now and it's up to you if we arrive now or not. Also a new bio was submitted by me in my RP Character thread who will possibly be one of the antagonists of the RP))

Julius: "Very well, then I call this meeting over. That is all gentlemen, dismissed."

As both the mysterious warrior and Julius prepared the first and second squad for the surprise attack, Kentaro arrived bringing news from the battlefield.

Kentaro: "Julius, the cadets were able to resist the first and second wave of attacks. The enemy is quite powerful and due to inexperience of the junior classmen, I fear that they won't resist for much long. We must assist them at once..."

Julius turned around and walked towards the small table and grabbed a bottle of wine. He then served a glass of the delicious liquid and began to drink it while thinking on a way to breach through the enemy's defenses.

Julius: "Kentaro, we shall depart now."

Julius went outside the tent and unsheathed his sword. His expression changed from a pacified warrior to an angry and vengeful knight.

Julius: "All troops, advance now!!! Kentaro you'll join the second squad and help our new ally to attack the enemy from the rear. I'll take the command of the first squad and lead the frontal assault. Now we go!!"

Julius ran towards his horse and mounts it subsequently unsheathing his blade and aiming it to the path that leads to the Garden. He then took 1500 of his men, leaving a 1000 for the surprise attack, and rushed towards the Garden hoping to arrive just in time. He was raiding as fast as he could, with the speed of a furious lightning, Julius was ready to oppose anyone and anything.
