~+Tales of FFF+~The Role Play

Hejaloki entered the Realm of Souls. He has ventured here a few times before.

In this realm his true form shines out. Which is of pure light shaped in a human fashion.

His light shines through the darkness. He looked through the darkness for Lucius soul. Then he sees the soul floating ... hopefully he isn't to late.

Hejaloki grabs Lucius hand and says, "Come with me to live again."

With that he pulls out a soul orb and touches Lucius' soul. Pulling all parts of the soul together untainted into it.

Time to exit this realm. As he was exiting the realm, he saw her. Armageddon stole her from him along time ago. He never saw her in here since that time.

Hejaloki said to her, " I will come back for you my love."

Then Hejaloki left the realm and started looking Lucius body...

The castle started to crumble. Zeria had passed Danny in her rush to get back to Julius. He followed her siftly and managed to get to the tower just after Zeria
"Zer. We have to leave! This place will fall soon!" He shouted at her. He ran towards her and stopped in his tracks. The darkness within the castle was creating it's own monsters. Zombies formed from Zeria's blood. He drew his guns and killed them instantly. Not caring about Zeria's wound he grabbed her, chucked her on his back and jumped out of the window just as the tower finally collapsed.

He landed on a nearby roof the wasn't falling yet and put her down.
"Stay still so I can heal you." He said as he started to summon some basic white magic. "Where's Lucious? And everyone else? Someone hit me over the head and I passed out, dammit im such an idiot."

"Arthvader! The hell-?!"

And with that, there wasn't a trace of Arthvader or the fiend who called himself Ex-Death. Shenorai cursed under her breath for not being able to get to him in time...and for having her hands full.

Shen gazed up at the tower they were in earlier mere moments before it collapsed. She bit down on her lip, praying that FFGuy found Zeria and that no one was caught in the tower.

"...Julius...a collapsing castle was not meant to be your grave," she whispered softly.
Let's hope Zeria and FFGuy weren't in there. It's not meant to be their graves either.

After a moment's silence, Shenorai began jogging in the direction of the great airship Akdamut, praying that someone would see her and at least toss down a ladder, if not send a gangplank.

You think Vegnya and Faith would believe you?
"About what?"
Julius' last wish. You were meant to rescue him, not his brother.
"...I didn't save either of them, Leondra..."

That thought made her heart plummet. Not only did she fail to save a friend, but she failed to save the man who loved her from the clutches of darkness and death.

Zeria kept quiet and cried.
"He's gone, Danny.....he's gone...."
Tears streamed down her cheeks and and she buried her face in his chest.
"It wasn't Lucious...he was being controlled...and everyone's at the entrance to the place....but he's gone...Julius is gone....."

She sobbed harder.
"Arth knocked me out and took me away.......it's all my fault......."

Danny froze.
"He... He can't be gone!" But he saw the truth in her tears "He was like a brother to me when we were kids." He chuckled "Me, him and Luce had so much fun" He bowed his head and felt the tear fall from his eye. He brushed his eyes and smiled at Zeria

He stood up, he had finished healing Zeria as much as he could. She didn't have anymore broken bones but some of the wounds were so deep that he could only seal them up "You're gonna have a few scars Zer but over all you should be fine." The roof started to crumble along with the rest of the building "You're not gonna be able to move as well for a while so let me carry you to safety." He put out his hand for her to get onto his back.

"Alright......"

Zeria got up on his back and held on tightly. Everything was coming crashing down......not only the castle....but her heart. Julius was gone...the man she loved was gone.......forever. There was no way she could get him back. No one understood how she felt...no one loved Julius like she did.......no one......

"When we get back, drop me off in Julius' room and leave me there alone...."

"Agreed. I'll take you there then i'll have to come back and help out." He held onto Zeria tightly and jumped from the rooftop just as it started to collapse fully. He landed on another rooftop and then leaped to the ground roughly. it took all his strength not to roll and crush Zeria.

"It'll be okay. I promise." Danny had to stay strong in front of Zeria. He lapt form the walls to as far as he could forward. he raced forwards. He was gonna miss Julius and Lucious. He remembered memories from when they were kids and felt a tear fall from his eye. he stayed with the Silverwings most of his life until he learnt about his real family. Since he was 14 he'd been searching for information on them. he'd had quite a few journeys and adventures. They arrived at Silverwing manor.
"You should be able to walk now." Danny told her as he slowly and carefully placed her onto the ground. "I'm gonna head back and help out." He hugged her in a friendly fashion stood up and flashed her a quick smile. He turned round and raced back to the castle.

Flying through the falling ruins of the castle FFGuy saw Danny running for the roof, the same location. He could not get his attention and was hit by part of the collapsing roof and it hit him in the back, directly where his wings were.

The pain was terrible and his wings started to fall off as blood started to explode out of his back, his wings started to glow a crimson red and the rest of his body followed suit. after a minute he had transformed again, this time he looked human and felt weak, his hair was now longer and blood red in colour and he was wearing a white cloak which matched the colour of his wings. His skin felt cold and grew very pale and he had a terrible wound in his back which seemed to pulse with pain, the cloak was covered with blood on the bottom half and he felt weak from the injuries. All of his weapons were gone, if he got in a fight he would be in trouble and he was already badly wounded.

After he had checked himself for any other changes he noticed none and started to run for the rooftop, no-one was there, either Zeria had not come here or Danny had taken her. he heard a sound like a jump followed by a part of the castle falling apart, he had to get down but the back entrance was sealed, he would have to somehow get down from the roof.

FFGuy jumped from the roof and landed on a collapsing bit of rooftop, he rode the momentum down and jumped to another as it started to fall apart, a great rip of pain filled his body and he fell onto all fours. After a few seconds he managed to pull himself up, he was nearing the ground now, he wanted to help his friends with Ex-death but because of his current condition it would not be wise.

All his willpower and stamina was put to the test as he tried to make his way to Silverwing Manor, as he neared he could make out a figure in the distance, as he got closer he recognised it as Zeria. "Zeria!" he choked a bit on these words so it could not be heard well, he made repeated attempts to call out to her and collapsed onto the floor as he approached the entrance of Silverwing Manor.

Hejaloki looked out for Lucious' body. Then he saw it being carried by Shenorai.

He flew down to Shenorai, "Let me take the body and help you."

Her reached out for her grab on.

As he found himself alone in the null void with Ex-Death, the battle continues. As Ex-Death swings his swords, Arthvader took damage from all of his swings. Suffering from all of the damage he has taken, Arthvader collapsed on one knee. As Ex-Death charged for the final blow, Arthvader, unable to move, blocked the blade with his own hands, preventing Ex-Death from ending his life.

Arthvader "Don't think that you can win this easily, Ex-Death. In the end, it's not me who's going to die, but rather, you will."

He quickly moved the blade aside and went back several feet away from Ex-Death.

'Lucky for me, I have just one more elixir in my bag. All I need to is drink this and I'll be able to catch up with him.'

Then he took out from his bag his last elixir and drank it, restoring his powers back to maximum. All of a sudden, he bolted towards Ex-Death at light speed and slashed Ex-Death with his swords.

After delivering the blow to Ex-Death, Arthvader revealed his true power, and formed his holy sword for the second time.

Arthvader "This Time, Ex-Death, I'll make sure you go down for good."

"I would expect no less..."-As he closed his eyes, Ex-Death extended his right arm and opened his right hand wide, and darkness gathered around it.-"...from the man that nearly sent me to oblivion."-Ex-Death revealed his newly turned bright red eyes as a huge sword, double edged with a foot wide blade, materialized on his hand out of the darkness he once summoned. He left the tip of his blade fall heavy on the ground, and a metallic sound echoed through the environment. He breathed heavily, smoke was coming out of his helm and his cape waved, caught by the winds. Ex-Death then aimed his sword to Arthvader.-"Turn thee Arthvader, and look upon your death."

Shenorai heard the voice and shot a deathly glare at the supposedly benevolent being. She even stepped away from him, obviously declining his offer.

"...it was Julius' last wish that his brother receives a decent burial," she said coldly. "You should respect that, too."

Her distrust was palpable. She didn't know Hejaloki. She didn't know what his true intentions were. Even if he had participated in that battle against Armageddon, it didn't give her much reason to simply thrust Lucius' body to him. She may have failed her duty in rescuing Julius, but she was not going to let this being desecrate Lucius' body if she could help it.

Hejaloki saw the distrust.

"Fear not. I respect the dead." he then lowered his voice to a whisper. "Why do you need to bury the living?"

He touched Lucius with the soul orb. Lucius was restored to life all his wounds healed. The soul orb shattered into dust. He gasped for breath and opened his eyes.

"Take him to safety." he whispered. With that Hejaloki vanished.

Danny legged it all the way back to the castle. He arrived quicker than he'd departed. Damn that Zeria was heavy, Danny thought as he jumped the wall and landed beside the gate, all that muscle I guess. He turned around and gasped. A sort of huge void was where the gate should have been. He ran over to it. On the other side looking into the void were some others, he hadn't been formally introduced to them yet so didn't have a clue what was going on. He looked down into the void. He didn't recognise one of them but the other he knew very well, Ex-Death.
"Not again," Danny said shaking his head. he ran to the wall jumped to the top then jumped again so he was on the other side of the void. He wlaked behind the people "Hiya my name's Danny... Mind telling me what's going on with that?" he pointed towards the void

Lucius:

Still suffering the effects of his unexpected resurrection, the once proud king of darkness soon started to regain consciousness. As he opened his eyes, he looked all around him until one face caught his attention: it was Shenorai Eterna, though he could barely remember her.

"Shenorai...why my heart knows what mind ignores? Your identity is unknown to me and at the same time so familiar...."

Arthvader "Ex-Death, when will you ever learn? You'll never defeat me with your skills now. You think that I'll be the one to die? Think again!"

'Darn, with that new sword, he'll be tougher than I originally thought. Better think this through.'

Arthvader headed towards Ex-Death at such a speed that his opponent can't keep up with, and delivered a vertical slash towards Ex-Death's legs.

Ex-Death tried subsequently to avoid Arthvader's attacks, but most of Ex-Death's attempts to elude Arthvader's sword failed. The demon's legs and were slashed by one or two of Arthvader's attacks, making Ex-Death stumble with his own feet and fall, his back crashing against the floor due to the weight of his armor. -"This is not possible...."-Ex-Death quickly rose and swung his blade upwardly towards Arthvader's head.

Danny looked around. He wished he could help Arthvader but knew he couldn't. He stood up and looked up at the airship waiting there. he wondered.

"Maybe I should go up there." Danny said to himself. After about a second of thinking he stood up and walked towards the airship. Along the way he saw Shenorai, he saw someone walk over towards her and place an orb by what Danny assumed was Lucious' body. Danny gasped.

"What the fu-?" Danny stopped in mid sentence. Lucious rose and said something to Shenorai "Heh, knew the bugger wouldn't stay down."

Seeing the attack ahead of time, Arthvader quickly shielded Ex-Death's attack and managed to counterattack by striking him across the torso. after striking Ex-Death, Arthvader took several feet back and prepared a magical attack.

Arthvader "You might think that it's not possible for me to defeat you, but, that's where you are so wrong. Take this, RAFOIE!"

In just an instant, a orb of fire appeared on Ex-Death's armor. the orb then exploded in a burst of fire, severly burning Ex-Death.

"...Lucius..."

There was that gripping feeling around her heart again. Although Shen was glad that Lucius was alive, it was painful to hear that he no longer recognized her. It was difficult to keep her expression blank as she spoke to the young lord.

"...I'll tell you later. Right now, we need to get you to safety. Let's get on the airship."

It seemed that the bounty hunter didn't even pay attention to whatever Danny was saying. She turned away from the both of them, walking towards the airship. Why hadn't they lowered a gangplank or ladder yet?

"You may let me stand on my own, I can walk...I think....thanks for taking care of me....Shenorai..." With little effort, the seemingly weakened Lucius rose and stood on his feet, but he still required some help to walk without falling. Worn out by the spiritual realm, the once proud King of Darkness was reduced to a mere shadow of his former self. Even though he barely recognized her, Lucius couldn't remove his sight from Shenorai, his eyes eternally lost within her eyes. Suddenly part of his past flashed through his mind, though nothing that would revealed to him his true nature. He fell on his knees, sinking his face on his hands in an attempt to extinguish the flames of hatred burning with no apparent reason inside his mind. Soon the pain subsided, Lucius's soul was calmed and so he rose from the floor once again. He turned his sight to Shenorai and spoke softly and confused-"You...Leondra? Is that...it can't be....but you...died? How can you still be alive?"-It would be certain, that the identities of Shenorai and Leondra were mixed altogether inside his tortured mind.

Meanwhile....

Ex-Death and Arthvader continued their battle as both warriors struggled to unstable dimension threatening to rip apart at any moment. The demonic Ex-Death soon began to feel the effects of Arthvader's attacks, and was starting to show signs of exhaustion. After a few more attacks, Ex-Death couldn't resist anymore and thus he fell a victim of Arthvader's blade. Seeing his torso slashed deeply by his opponent's sword, Ex-Death oughed blood as he cursed Arthvader. Suddenly, moments before breathing his last, Ex-Death was saved by an unknown benefactor that would soon reveal its identity. The newly possessed Ex-Death underwent a monstrous metamorphosis, becoming now a gigantic fiend with eyes as blank and deep as the depths of oblivion. -"You have not seen the last of us...."-then another voice, this time more maniacal and almost as if it were mocking Arthvader spoke-"Yes, my master has returned...now we will kill you..."
