~+Tales of FFF+~The Role Play

Zeria was wounded severely from Aeternus' attacks. She no longer knew how much more she could hold up. Even she had physical limits....but no. That was her goal. To surpass every limit she had until she could take no more. She didn't want to harm Aeternus anymore. Now that she knew he was Julius, she just couldn't bear to swing her sword to him.

"Julius....my dearest master......I have said it many a time before, but I will say it again..."

Her eyes went back to their usual shimmering viper yellow. They were filled with sorrow and one could easily tell that she was on the verge of tears.

"I am so very sorry....I never meant to betray you. I only left because I thought I was no longer needed. Please...find it in your heart to forgive me...I beg of you...."

She dropped to her knees at his feet, drawing forth the rose he'd left for her. She'd had it hidden in her hair ribbon all this time, protecting it from any harm. Her ruby lips brushed it softly, and she clutched it to her heart.

"Please.......and if you cannot forgive me. Just please........know that I......that I......"

Zeria's gaze snapped back up to Aeternus, tears falling to the floor.

"KNOW THAT I LOVE YOU JULIUS!"

Arthvader "H..h.hh.he.ee.ll.l.p..mm..ee...p.le..a.se...ughugh, UUUUUUUUUUUUUUWWWWWWWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Arthvader, unable to maintain his sanity, continues his rampage at everyone around the room. The aura around him suddenly changed from gold to dark purple, revealing that he has lost all of his humanity.

Arthvader "Must, Must, must KILL ALL. WWWWRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

He charged towards Shenorai, without consent to his ally, and delivered a devastating punch towards her chest.

Arthvader "I MUST KILL TO SATISFY!!!!!!!!! YOU WILL ALL SOON DIE BY MY HANDS. WWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!"

Lucious felt a grim satisfaction after witnessing that his darkness was starting to corrupt Arthvader as well. The dark lord rose rose his left hand and began to absorb the dark essence that Arthvader's body began to emanate. Lucious was starting to feel the power of darkness, a blackness so deep that it began to swallow his soul. From within the hood, one could see the skull of that monstrous fiends, with his eyes glowing like two red rubies.

"Yes, give into your darkness Arthvader. Submit your will to me as well."

Lucious hovered in mid air, staring from high above to the battlefield. His eyes were caught by Shenorai who insisted on trying to persuade Lucious from getting his revenge. He sighed, smoke coming out from within his mouth as if he were breathing fire. He laughed evilly fixing his ominous eyes on Shenorai.

"You ask me to end this senseless battle while you, yourself, came all the way here to murder me? Who is worst? You, the assassin, or me, the one who accepts his own fated role as lord of the shadows? I know where I should be, the question here is: Do you know which side you belong?"

Meanwhile the mind control on Aeternus began to weaken. Aeternus felt how his mind cleared as he witnessed what sort of monster he had become. He saw, deeply into Zeria's eyes and saw himself reflected himself like he truly was now, a mere instrument of death. Julius's movement halted, his system was finally overloaded and he brought his hands on his head as if he were trying to take away something from his mind but couldn't reach it. Aeternus fell on his knees and breathed heavily but soon he felt that the light was being restore to his once tainted soul. The fiend that was attached on Julius' back began to scream as Julius himself tore it away, leaving deep scars and blood flowing from those wounds. Julius was only wearing half of the mask Lucious gave him, his legs were armored with iron plates and he was wearing heavy iron boots. His torso was clearly exposed showing the marks of his previous transformation, the countless experiment that were performed on him.

Julius turned his sight to Lucious, his eyes raging like thousand angels yearning to bring justice upon the demon that was inside his twin brother.

"LUCIOUS!!!!!"

Julius gave an inhuman battle cry and defied Lucious to a final confrontation. It was clear though, that Julius, as wounded as he was, would never defeat Lucious. Nevertheless, the young lord challenged his brother.

"Oh brother, so weak as usual. Damn you Zeria, you and your constant meddling. Oh well, like my father used to say: if you want something done right you must do it yourself!! Time for my master plan! I'll make the world to fall into an unending darkness! A night that will never end!"

Lucious flew high above to the roof and passed through it like a ghost, he was surely heading towards the farthest room, the Clock Tower. Julius was weakened, though in his decadent state, he walked towards the stairs.

"I have no sword...."

Julius muttered to himself, so he searched desperately for anything he could use as a weapon. He grabbed an iron double edge battle axe, holding the handle tightly with both hands.

Shenorai stumbled backwards, gasping for breath. She was thankful for her chest not caving in, at least. With a growl, she shouted at Lucious.

"I am on the side I'm always on; MY OWN!"

Her cold eyes staring down Arthvader, Shen pressed forward towards him, using the staff for blunt attacks and her sword for slashing. If her so-called 'friend' was to turn against her like this, then perhaps he should be slain as well?

No...not slain...maybe knock some sense into him, though.

Arthvader "WWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYY"

When shenorai hit Arthvader, She started to knock some little sense on to him, removing some of the evil within.

Arthvader "Ugh, Ugh, Shen..is that you? Are you really there, Leondra? Thank god you found her. Come out, Phoenix, heal me quickly before... WWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!"

Arthvader just managed to summon the phoenix lost control of himself, the phoenix began the healing process to restore its master back to normal. Now, inside his mind, Arthvader begins his personal fight again. during this struggle, Arthvader's aura started to shift between light and darkness.

'ugh, I must persevere. I must live if I want to restore my life and to fully heal the wounds of Julius. I must purify the evil...'

Moment's later, He completely regained his humanity, As well as fully achieving his full potential back, revealing his golden aura again. He then headed towards Shen.

Arthvader "Thanks for the help Shenorai, Leondra. If you wern't there to help me, I don't know what would've happened in my rage. For that, I owe you my life."

Hejaloki watched all this from the corner of the room. He was a silent observer waiting for when the true evil was to appear. The mortals stood no chance against it.

He saw Julius had to the stairs and Lucious fly up.

Hejaloki followed Julius to the clock tower slightly and invisible.

FFGuy was slipping in and out of conciousness, he took the little time he had to call out to his allies.

FFGuy: help................help me................HELP ME!

FFGuy slipped out of conciousness and it would be a while before he regained it, FFGuy was sure he saw Julius, he seemed to have been born of Aeternus, or maybe that was all he ever was.....

Arthvader was going mad, he only hoped that he did not spot him, he was badly wounded as it is.

While the throne room was often a section in the castle that Vegnya frequented, the place suddenly felt so new to her. From the new perspective--that is the throne itself, and the center of the attention, the white mage was already beginning to sympathize with her poor master. How hard it must have been, coordinating Silverwing Castle's armed forces with preciseness and vigor. And he was so young. . .

So were most of the able men. Before the White Mage Duchess stood the admirals and their commodores of Castle Silverwing's esteemed fighting angels of the sky. The most powerful armada assembled today, all called for one special mission. Vegnya weeped silently behind her mask, knowing that some here today would not return. In return for their sacrifice, she could only promise that she would lead them to victory.

"We have connection with the Gabriel, Admiral Geraldo." A young techie announced from his terminal: A quick stage set up that made a mess of things within the throne room. Wires and machines here and there, oh it infuriated Vegnya as she cursed the lack of neatness that came with technology.

A strongly-built man of towering height approached the white mage. He was dressed in the usual garb: light armor overlapped by a hybrid of a trench coat and a cape. A large sheathed sword dangled from his belt. The flaps of the clothing seemed to bellow in his power as if his appearance alone wasn't intimidating. He had long black hair that was pony tailed at the back, and a medium tan that reflected his scarred soul, tainted by years of experience.

"We are ready, Your Grace," he whispered to her, the deep bass having a forced reassuring air. It seemed that even the Admiral was uncertain. "At your command."

Vegnya squeezed her sister's hand, prompting the black mage to nod in support. "Begin the first phase."

The Admiral took the liberty to relay the command, causing both mages and most of the officers to flinch.

"Reconnaissance airship Gabriel preparing the cannon for the first shot. Cannon systems functional. Programming target: The Fortress. Target LOCKED. Cannon charged at 100%. Initiating pre-firing sequence: 3,2,1. . .FIRE!"

The masked duchess looked up and saw the brilliant stream of light piercing the late night sky. The windows of the throne room made the excellent command center, giving everyone a full view of the operation. All seemed well until the flying Fortress reacted almost instantly to the offense.

The cannon fire missed, as planned. It was only meant to alert the inhabitants inside---mainly Lucious, and confront him directly. If all worked well, it would only pressure Lucious the more into a surrender as he would have to deal with the rescue team and Castle Silverwing's Armada. Indeed, they got his attention.

A red flash came from the highest point of the Fortress, but before anyone could wonder what it was, the Gabriel had already fallen. All watched in horror as the burning airship fell from the sky with no apparent cause in sight.

Faith stifled a shriek after letting go of her sister's cold clammy hands. "Sister! Get everyone ready, please! Mobilize them!"

Not fully understanding her concern, Vegnya only hushed the hysterical black mage. Then it struck her. "Oh dear," she gasped, now realizing why her sister paled in the urgency. "Admiral, get your men in the air now! Defend this castle!"

"Your Grace, I must protest. There is no clear threat in sight." The Admiral was nice enough to hide his disdain for the military-ignorant woman.

"We're in the dead of night, Admiral." Vegnya hissed. "That spot of red you saw earlier? Well it seems we're dealing with an enemy that doesn't own a force that could match the Armada. So instead, someone opened a portal to hell. Those were hordes of demons that struck down the Gabriel, Admiral! Winged serpents that want your blood and soul! Now get a fleet out there and destroy every wave that dares touch this castle---!"

It wasn't the shattered glass that nearly killed the sisters, but the razor sharp claws of a large serpentine creatures that came crashing into the throne room after detecting an attractive soul to consume. Hungry and full of hate for the human race, it lashed out wildly at its prey: the masked one. With a massive strike, the demon backhanded the white mage, sending her flying from the throne and into a wall. While Faith ran to her sister's aid, the Admiral unsheathed his saber in a flash and downed the creature with a critical blow to the neck, nearly severing the head. Blood sprayed from the wound, draining the enemy of life in seconds.

"Is the Duchess all right?" Admiral Geraldo called out.

"She's not moving!" Faith cried, hulking over the small pool of crimson that leaked from the skull of the white mage.

Zeria smiled. Julius was back.

"Master.....no....Dearest Sir Julius, I must return this to thee"

She ran over to his side and pulled out the LionHeart Gunblade. She fell to her knees with swift grace and bowed, extending out the blade to him.

"I do believe...that this is yours...dearest Julius. I was honored to wield it in your absence...thank you..."

She wiped away her tears, but more came. Then, she just wouldn't allow herself to hold back, and she threw her arms around Julius.

"I missed you....please. Please don't ever leave me alone like that again!"

Julius held Zeria within his arms in a gentle embrace. He smiled while caressing her hair. He then released Zeria and stepped backwards, turning to Arthvader who was beginning to show symptoms of Lucious' poisonous corruption.

"I am sorry Zeria. I've caused you so much pain. But you shall suffer no more, for I will end what my foolish actions began."

Julius held his battle axe before himself, he stared to Arthvader and called the warrior. Julius hoped that he would make Arthvader regain his sanity before it was too late. He was panting, his torso covered withs scars and numerous wounds provoked by his previous battle against Zeria and the others.

"Here I make my first step to redeem myself. Arthvader! Come and wield your hatred against me! I welcome it!"

While reading his axe with enough momentum to unleash his first attack, Julius ran towards Arthvader. He kept dodging Arthvader's attacks, crouching, leaping to the left then to the right and finally jumping high into the air holding the battle axe above his head. The weapon glowed with purifying energy as Julius prepared for the collision. With all the momentum he gathered before, Julius brought his axe in a downward arc aiming to Arthvader's swords to deflect them and disarm him.

Zeria had smiled. Julius truly was back to normal. But now, both he and Arthvader needed her help. She ran over, almost 3 feet away from Arth.

"If not Julius, turn your anger on me!"

She held the Lion Heart Gunblade tightly, guarding herself with it.

"Sorry Julius, but I'll need this for one more battle. Now please, Arthvader! Try and fight it! You're one of the best people I've ever had the honor of standing and fighting with! Please! Don't leave us all now!"

Shenorai stayed back, not wanting to go too close to Julius. For some reason, she felt as though she had betrayed him by not killing his brother when she had the chance. Her heart was sunken with that feeling....though she had to shake it soon; there was someone yet they had to tend to.

The bounty hunter walked over to her winged ally. She hadn't really looked at what happened to FFGuy until now. As much as she wanted to ask "What the hell happened to you?", she held her tongue. After all, he was nearly passing out.

"Hold on," she said softly. She then turned her head towards Arthvader. "Oy, Arth! You have anything for FFGuy? Pull a potion out of your ass if you have to!"

He kept dodging Arthvader's attacks, crouching, leaping to the left then to the right and finally jumping high into the air holding the battle axe above his head. The weapon glowed with purifying energy as Julius prepared for the collision. Moments before being close enough to Arthvader, Julius halted his attack and remained standing before him. It seems that Julius felt no evil from this man anymore.

"It's good to be back Arthvader. Sorry for causing you all problems. Well I have to go.....time to finish what I started...

Julius smiled and turned to see Zeria, who was worried by the current situation. He walked towards the stairway holding his axe tightly with both hands. He made a sudden stop, and glared at the path that lead to the final battle against Lucious. He changed his sight to the floor, drops of blood and sweat falling on the cold stone each time he breathed.

"Don't worry Zeria, Arthvader is alright. He is back with us."

Julius stayed quiet, staring at the steps of the stairs, highly deteriorated by the previous battles. Before continuing forward, Julius changed his sight to Shenorai.

"My brother loves you Shen....but I think you've already knew that."

Julius turned around and went forward, venturing more and more into the darkness that devoured those stairs...

She sheathed her two blades and nodded, but then Zeria got afraid again as Julius got further and further away. She was shaking and another tear rolled down her cheek. In a heartbeat, she bolted off towards him, clasping onto him once more.

"No! Don't leave me alone again! Please...."

God, she felt so foolish and weak, but the truth was, she just couldn't bear to possibly lose Julius again. He was as dear to her as her own soul! Her body was severely injured, bleeding in a few spots, and she was still weak from all of the attacks she'd taken when Julius had become Aeternus.

"I beg of you...please don't leave again...we all need you...I need you!"

Arthvader "Sure, Shen. I'm sure he'll need this more than I will. This is basically a gift i picked up after ExDeath died by my hands."

He then handed Shenorai the elixer.

Arthvader "Now, make sure he drinks this, ok. Now, I'll be going along with Julius. Just be prepared for what's to come, Ok, Shen, Leondra? The same goes with you too, Zeria. See ya."

And then Arthvader followed Julius towards Lucious. He already started powering up himself for the battle at hand.

Arthvader "Julius, You better not forget that I'm here to help you out for this final battle. Also, I have a promise to keep up, and that was to your brother, that I will battle him, wether I live or if I were to die. Oh, and also, the reason why I lost control was not because of Lucious. You remember the last time that happened, Right?"

"My brother loves you Shen....but I think you've already knew that."

Shenorai glanced away from Julius at that remark, her eyes shamefully obscured in the shadow of her black locks. She figured as much once he spared her life...but how is she going to go up against Lucious now? She can't just kill the person who saved her from her living nightmare.

"Now, make sure he drinks this, ok. Now, I'll be going along with Julius. Just be prepared for what's to come, Ok, Shen, Leondra?"
"Thanks," Shen mumbled, taking the elixir in hand.

She pulled the stopper from the elixir and lifted FFGuy's head, slowly pouring the contents of the bottle into his mouth. Hopefully, he would drink enough to recover.

"...I don't know what use I'm going to be," she said, lifting the rod so anyone can take it. "Here. Lucious gave this to me; it's meant to increase magical power while in this castle. One of you is bound to make more use of it than I am, for I don't really have any magic."

FFGuy opened his eyes, Shenorai was above him, she was standing and holding a staff, FFGuy did not take it, he already held enough of a burden.

FFGuy: thank you..... Shenorai.

FFGuy rose to his feet and eyed his remaining allies, they were following Julius.

FFGuy: they really care for him don't they, loyalty won't win this battle, only our bravery will, if our emotions take hold this battle will be lost.

Perhaps my longest post in this RP :P

"Keep it Shen. If he gave that to you then he knew what he was doing. Perhaps it is your destiny to set him free."

Julius gathered his courage and sighed deeply. He rose his axe and ran upstairs. His footsteps could be heard landing powerfully on the cold stone floor and fading away in the distance.

On the roof, Julius sighted the hellish figure of Lucious hovering in mid air with his dark cap waving caught by the air. He was no longer the hooded spectrum of Death he was some time ago. Lucious was wearing his usual attire. He had his full body dark silver armor
which covers Lucian torso completely. The metal is quite light, which allows Lucius to use his inhuman speed freely. Two strong iron plates cover the upper part of the chest and a red stone is attached to the center, surrounded by a golden ring and ancient runes. The armor extends to the legs, covering with light strong dark silver plates and powerful knee guard. A long red cape partially covers Lucius’ shoulders. The cape is enchanted and was made to resist magical energies. His shoulder armor given to Lucius by Death himself. This piece of equipment boosts dark powers. The shoulder pads are made of pitch black silver with the shape of a Lion’s head. The Lion’s eyes are made of red rubies. The dark lord's belt which was made of leather and covered with dark silver chains. A red stone was attached to the center of the belt. And finally the last piece of his equipment: the Boots of Endless Shadows. These boots were made with the strongest leather, enchanted with the darkest of spells and infused with hatred and evil. The boots boost the user’s magical abilities but changes all his spells to dark.

Lucious slowly landed on the roof right before his brother Julius. Though this fiend was apparently unarmed, it was evident that this demon would use his dark sorcery to summon weapons out of the darkness. Julius was wearing his full leg armor which included knee pads and left some opened spots to allow quick movement. Underneath the leg armor Julius wore his leather pants. Strong
light leather gloves covered with small metal plates protected his hands and only his left arm was covered with his arm armor covered Julius' left arm from his wrist to his shoulders while leaving the necessary spots for movement.

Lucious summoned out of the shadows a beautiful sword which Julius recognized immediately: it was the "Eternal Blade".
This 4 feet long sword from handle to the tip of the blade is Julius' favorite weapon. The handle was 1 foot long, the blade was 3 feet long made of a strong metal alloy and both parts were attached to each other by a strong nearly indestructible metal alloy. The center piece was shaped like two angel wings, 3 inches long 2 inches wide each that were set at opposite sites of a red ruby stone. The sword had a hand guard shaped like a third angel wing. It began from the center piece and reached the last end of the handle, protecting Julius' hands. There is a chain with the letters "J & D" in the form of an emblem attached to the end of the handle. The letters (the "J" was golden and the "D" was made of sterling silver) stand for the names of Julius and his long lost love, "Dareysha".

Lucious nodded his head and tossed the blade near Julius' feet. Julius dropped the axe and grabbed the hilt of his Eternal Edge sword. Julius held his blade aiming the tip of his sword to Lucious.

"But it ain't my dear brother Lucious? Long time no see, eh?"

"Welcome to my castle once again Julius, I apologize for not making the right preparations for such an important guest like you."

"Oh well, you've always been like that. You forget this and that it is such a miracle that you didn't forget my name after all these years."

"Julius, let me remind you that you were as absentminded as me."

"Yeah, anyway you know as well as I do that I didn't come to talk. It's time to close this dark chapter of our lives. Farewell brother..."

"I couldn't agree more with you Julius. Bid farewell to this life for I will send you to your grave."

Both Lucious and Julius prepared themselves for the incoming battle. Julius wielded his Eternal Edge while Lucious remained standing before him bare handed. Lucious seemed to have been awaiting for this for so long, but he still had enough patience to wait for the rest Julius' friends to arrive and interrupt this duel between brothers.

As he arrived at the roof of the castle with Julius, Arthvader quickly drew out his weapons. He set up a summoning circle around him, and then began summoning his partners.

Arthvader "Phoenix, Gilgamesh, come on out."

In just moments, Gilgamesh and the Phoenix arrived from the circle.

Gilgamesh "What is it this time, Arthvader? Can't you see i was cleaning this weapon?"

Arthvader "No time for that, Gilgamesh. You better get ready for battle. This, my friend, will be one of our toughest battles we'll ever have."

Gilgamesh "Oh, I see. Ok, Arthvader."

As Gilgamesh prepared his katanas, Arthvader turned his attention to Lucious.

Arthvader "How many times do we have to meet like this, Lucious? You have been giving me enough grief ever since we entered this castle. Now it's time for you to pay for all the suffering you have committed. Now it's time that we start this battle."

Arthvader then showed his golden aura, proof that he is ready to battle with all he got. he then said something to Julius.

Arthvader "Don't forget, Julius, I'm here to help out. If you need something, I am ready to to it. Oh, and one more thing, Drink this."

Arthvader then handed Julius an elixir that he had held on to for a while now.

Arthvader "be sure to use this now, if you want to stand a chance."

Julius nodded his head and agreed to drink the mysterious liquid. In mere seconds, his body felt revitalized and his wounds soon hurt less and less.

"Thank you Arthvader."

Julius then readied his weapon, resting the blade on his left forearm and running towards Lucious. Julius swung his blade from left to right aiming to Lucious' torso. Surprisingly, the blade went through Lucious' body as if it were mist. Lucious remained unharmed and grinned as Julius realized in shock that they were exactly were his brother wanted them to be.

"Dear God....Arthvader this is a trap!!!"
