Tattoos

There is actually a lot of truth to that. My sister was denied a job because of the hideous bolt that pierces her tongue.

And in a few years she'll probably regret it. o_O

Sometimes people just go too far for fashion. =\
I think tattoos and piercings are some of the worst things you can do to your body. o_O

Here something to reply to this:

In 2001 Costco fired Kimberly M. Cloutier for wearing an eyebrow ring --- a violation of their dress code, which bars facial jewelry. All she had to do was remove the ring while she was at work, but she refused. Why? she considers wearing the ring an essential part of her religion, the "Church of Body Modification" *right *

Costco managers were unwilling to accommodate the church's view that piercings "are essential to our spiritual salvation," so Cloutier filed a religious discrimination....blah blah blah.

Case in point: Body piercings *the more extreme ones* + jobs = not gonna work.

But tattoos, on the other hand are a lot easier to conceal.

I dont mind them. Ive seen some beautiful ones and some very baddy done ones! I want a tattoo myself, but I cant decide on where to have it and what to have!

Personally, I love tattoos. But if somebody is stupid enough to show them off at there job, or flaunt them during a job interview, they're stupid, and they deserve to be fired.

I will say that tattoos are very addictive. I got my first one a year and a half ago, and from then on, I got 6 more. The best and biggest one is on my back between my shoulder blades, I have my mothers name with two red roses on each side of her name, with two angel wings coming out of the roses, and a thorn vine coming out of the roses and wrapping the wings.

Tattoos can be trashy....like the stamp tramp... I don't mind tattoos on men though, just a few of them on their arm is alright. Tattoos on women doesn't look right to me unless they can pull it off by looking 'punk rocker'-like.

I'm not a very big fan of tattoos. I would not want to get one. A print on your body that is there forever.

I don't mind tattoos. However, what I find hilarious is that most people don't think about what the tattoo will look like once their old and wrinkly. Thinking of getting it removed? Fine, but you'll be walking around with a huge scar where the tattoo once was.

I don't mind tatoos...as long as its not too much - like that guy whos whole body is tattoed so it looks like leapord skin - he looks retarded.

but tattos dont bother me, our bodies our decision

I love tattoos. I want one on my upper back thats says Strength, Courage and Wisdom in Japanese. But the only way i wold get it done is if i was in Tokyo and got it done. I want good Japanese artist to do my tattoos for me. Since that isnt gonna happen i am tatooless.

One of my teachers has a personal grudge against tattoos, and I think she berated a fellow teacher for having one on her ankle.
I mean, yes, it does give some sort of negative aura around you from many people, which is undeniable fact, but still, it's freedom of expression.

I still haven't changed my stance, I still don't like them for some reason.

Personally, I'm giving it a "meh". I don't mind them, although I'll never get one myself. Some of them look neat, others have overkill written all over them.

I don't really care if people want to get a tattoo, I think it's a shame when people just get something for the sake of it or because they think it looks cool, as for me I really want a tattoo...I just don't know what to get

I personally see nothing wrong with someone decorating their body by getting a permanent tatto. Because when I hit 18(Only 5 months:D) I plan on getting a tatto on my lower back. Or maybe my arm..

I have no problem with tats'. My girlfriend has two of them. They weren't anything exciting but it wasn't offensive or bothersome. If a girl is covered in them than it would probably be annoying... but a few small ones are no big deal.
