As night started to fall, another city was burning to the ground. Its destruction, caused by Tanzra and his minions of death. Outside the city lay the bodies of its former settlers, all of whom would not tell him what he wanted to know, and all of whom are now dead, save for one, who would wait for Gondihiln and tell him where Tanzra was going. As Tanzra watched the city fall, he kept thinking of the promise he made to Gondihiln.

"I will return and defeat you. Count on it."

As the final building fell and the fires raged on, he turned to Anastasia, his newly appointed general, with an evil smile on his face. He was thinking about what he would do to him, and what would happen when he won.

"There is no way he can resist this. He will come, I know it." Tanzra said.

He had a good way of going about finding him, too. He would interrogate everybody, and either he would be told where Gondihiln was, or he would kill them. It didn't really matter to him, as long as he accomplished his mission.

"Get some sleep. We move again tomorrow. Usual shifts with watch, I don't want to get suprised like last night." (Watch list will be posted in the discussion thread.)

Meanwhile, up in the mountains somewhere:

Gondihiln waits to see if his attempts of gathering some form of army will pay off. As he sits on his throne, he hears footsteps coming from the doorway. (Enter the good guys, which will start here.)

((OOC: Okay, since I'm playing two characters, here's how I'll format my subsequent posts in future- including this one. At the head, before the start of the actual post itself, I'll put the main character of the post. A good example would be this very post itself. Shouldn't be hard to understand... But oh well, have fun :awesome:))

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kino
A cheerful smile hung on the girl's face as she walks into the throne room from the doorway. It may be night, but she knew very well that 'The God' wouldn't be turning in so early. Closing the door behind her, she walks down the carpeted floor and gets down to her knees in a exaggeratively respectful manner.
"Oh almighty Gondihiln," Kino chirps, grinning from ear to ear. "Why art thou still up this late?"
Without waiting for a response, she gets up, knowing that Gondihiln himself would ask her to anyway. She chuckled, amused by her little joke. "Wondering if there will be any more people this late?"
Shifting her gaze over to the windows beside the throne room, Kino stares up at it, fascinated by how oneiric it seemed.
When Gondihiln came up to his mountain castle and established the recruitment centers after hearing of the destruction, Kino had been one of the earliest few that joined forces with him. It wasn't because Gondihiln, 'The God', had once bested Tanzra in battle three years back, but because of the calamity that started it all.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Gondihiln

He smiled, responding politely to Kino’s attempt at a joke. It wasn’t exactly the funniest of jokes he heard, but at this hour in the night, it was an attempt he couldn’t ignore plainly. Gondihiln was about to ask Kino to stand when she got up.

"Wondering if there will be any more people this late?"

She then turned to look out of the window. Gondihiln leaned back against his throne, resting his arms on the armrests. Quickly recalling what he knew about Kino, he found himself looking at the devastation from three years ago.

Corpses littered the city, and flames raged on in some buildings. No matter where he looked, it was either blood or the charred remains of some building. The sight was rather discouraging for a city that used to bustle with life. However, what was more emotionally agonizing to watch were the people that had lost loves one in this brutal attack.

Kino, he remembered, was one of those.

Shaking his head, he focused back on Kino. “You’re right,” He said, getting up from his throne. “I’m sure there will be more coming to join our ranks.”

He said that last line with an air of certainty. It wasn’t that he had the power of foresight, but that he had faith in his people- that they would not want to sit around and wait like sitting ducks. The mental image of the depredated Kuman resurfaced, bring with it a depressing emotion.

However, seeing Kino again, he felt a surge of strength. If he was going to lead, he knew he must be strong. If he was to be ‘The God’ to his people, he shall be the compassionate and confident leader that his people believe in.

“Trust me,” He continued. “We’ll defeat Tanzra once and for all.”

(Sorry it's so short. I had no idea what to post =[)

The broadsword slapped against his thigh slightly as the Elf moved at a measured pace, his purple eyes focused on nothing but the path ahead. He saw nothing but that which his mind was focused upon as he strode straight to the great doors barring his way to Gondihiln. He would present himself before his master and he would swear unwavering loyalty unto him.

He knocked sharply on the door, leaving a respectful moment before pushing his way in and fixing his eyes upon his Lord. Moss did not look away as he walked towards him, sliding instantly to one knee before the God.

“My Lord,” Moss spoke softly, declined his head respectfully now, keeping his eyes averted. “I come to request that you allow me to fight for you.”

A warrior. That was what Moss Euradias was. Heart and soul. He had nothing but that life now. Everything else had been strippled cruelly away, leaving nothing but his own pride as a fighter.

He would use that. Moss would die before he allowed the followers of Tanzra to take away his honour. His hand gripped at the hilt of his broadsword as he awaited either his acceptance or his rejection.

((ooc: for future reference im technically playing two characters but for now only one will be present. Kurosu))

Kurosu let the blade cleave down another tree before she re-placed it in her scabbard that was mounted on her back, right between her wings. she shifted footing then launched herself upwards into the sky. with a few beats of her wings she caught the air current and began to fly. it wasnt long before the blazing remains of a city caught her eye. she grinned as she landed atop one of the tallest remining buildings and looked at the devastation. Looking for one thing. She saw them. The retreating forces of Tanzra's army and took flight once more to follow them. As they came to a halt for the night she landed on a nearby tree.
"Get some sleep. We move again tomorrow. Usual shifts with watch, I don't want to get suprised like last night." She heard the voice of Tanzra and decided to jump right in with her usual flair.
"Surprise" She said as she landed blade drawn in front of tanzra. The sword she lowered however as she bowed to him "I wish to join the fun i too have a score to settle with the gods" She awaited his answer, ready to take flight if need be.

Anastasia lingered outside a burnt out village. Smoke rose in thick plumes, choking the air in noxious, stinking black. It was so powerful it would arise a cough and tears in your average human, but to Anastasia, the smoke, and the lingering embers that refused to die were utterly enrapturing, and she watched them like a child would watch a rainbow; with utter delight and something almost like a hypnosis.

The wonderful smell of blood was also there, fantastic and addictive. It made Anastasia want to let loose and destroy, to release that brutal, primal side of herself that was unable to resist temptation.

But no. There were manners in war. This was to be a warning, nothing more. Anastasia had been ordered to let a few survive in order to go running to their precious leader. The village had been big enough to be noticed burning to the ground, but small enough to not matter in the grand scheme of things.

Tanzra had chosen his targets well. Cities, grand and small were burning and fallen even as she looked upon the dying sparks of fire that danced around the ruined buildings and their roasted inhabitants. Let the survivors run to their precious God. Let them try to claim victory over Tanzra. It didn't matter in the end, as long as Anastasia could have her fun with these beings.

Like a wraith, Anastasia drifted away to her next target. Ethereal. Unnoticed. Deadly.

OOC: Far from perfect but I will get better. :hmmm:

(OOC: I forgot a little what this rp was about due to many projects. I'll just post as best I know how!)

Never awoke on the ground on a nearby hill, his pet mouse Cheep standing on his head. Never sat upright to clear his head. Yet again he had traveled to another world unlike his own in his quest to destroy evils. He gazed around him at the lifeless land that surrounded him. He was near a lifeless villiage and the air stunk of terrible fumes. "Where do you suppose we are this time Cheep?" Never asked in confusion looking all about his surroundings.

The mouse hid in Never's hood in shelter. The town in which they stood was littered with debris of all kinds: bodies on the ground, houses broken, woods strewns o the ground and glowing embers that seemed to die down was a sight to behold.

Never grabbed the Ever sword staying cautios as to what this new world would bring. He was ready to swing as soon as danger was to strike, but nobody came...Everything was quiet in this ruined town.

Never could barely breath with all of the thick smoke now settling in his environment. "Something's not right about this place..." Never spoke as he trotted off away from the village.

Never's goal was to accomplish one task and one task only: To destroy a soul of a great evil power in this land that would inevitably come to his world and wreak havoc. Never had to destroy this thing for his friends but most importantly for his world. He walked off to find somebody who could inform him of this brand new world...

(OOC: Never's not from here so he'll need to be befriended by an evil person. He's a generally good character so...)

"I wish to join the fun i too have a score to settle with the gods"

"Score to settle with the gods, huh. I like the sound of that. Welcome aboard."

This new person would be a fine addition to this group that was starting to gain in numbers. While welcoming the new person into the group, Tanzra noticed someone off in the distance.

"Perfect. Someone for me to convert over, if need be." He said to himself.

Tanzra walked up to this person and already knew what he would say.

"Excuse me, but you look a little lost. Perhaps I can assist you. If you would follow me, I can give you the opportunity of a thousand lifetimes. All you gotta do is say yes."

((OOC: Although the other 'good guy' has yet to post, I'll just go on to respond to Neliel Tu's character.. I have sort of integrated the post for Kino into this one... Simply because all Kino would do to respond to Moss' entry into the room is to stand by the side quietly :D ))

Gondihiln

Just as soon as Gondihiln uttered those last few words, he heard knocks on the door. Walking back to his throne, he turned as the doors opened, to reveal an elf. To be precise, this was one convincingly reliable elf, at least, in Gondihiln’s opinion.

He was not only tall, but rather well built as well. This, along with the broadsword strapped to his right, supported an image of a valiant warrior. The elf had definitely succeeded in rubbing off a good impression on Gondihiln.

“My Lord,”

His lips curved slightly into a smile. “I come to request that you allow me to fight for you.” He had been expecting this, but nevertheless, hearing these words from the warrior pleased Gondihiln. With an approving nod, Gondihiln raised his hands, replying,” Please stand.”

He couldn’t resist looking the warrior top to toe again. This was one of the strongest-looking warriors that he had recruited since the start of his entire recruiting campaign.

Even Kino herself watching by the side was clearly fascinated by the appearance of this elf. After all, there was a stereotypical image that most humans have of the elves. This particular warrior before them definitely showed his uniqueness.

Taking all these into account, Gondihiln continued, “I shall be honest here. You probably are the strongest warrior that has joined my ranks. I’m more than willing to accept you.”

His slight smile became a cheerful grin. “Welcome to the party, though, if you would. May I know your name?”

Kurosu was glad to see that her approach had worked. as she had not been given something to do she decided to walk over to the one known to her as anastasia. "Excuse me i am kurosu and have just joined Tanzres forces. perhaps i could accompany you in tonights watch?" She shifted position waiting for a response

((OOC= sorry for the really short post. i didnt really have too much to work with there))
