I think you can find the technick in the Necrohol of Nabudis at a certain point in the story’s progression, though I’m not entirely sure. I’ve yet to acquire it myself (I haven’t played the game in quite a while).

After the pharos you can get tk from the secret shop in the necrohol, along with scathe and some other magick(I'm getting em mixed up) not ardor, that's back in the barheim passage for the merchant in the north. Check map on gamefaqs for details on necrohol.
