Fan Fiction Terra Branford - The Fiery Rose

That's cool, I didn't know that. But then I did find her magic to be powerful enough already without morphing into her esper form. I think Ultima did 9999. Would casting it in esper form break 9999 barrier?

I always thought it was level related or scene related. I just noticed only once in the game that I ran out of Esper power to be in that form, when I got her. But after one character after her, she never ran out.

This is something new to be and I'm gonna test it out on my GBA version :>
 
Is there a Esper that teaches Ultima? If not then I would imagine Terra would be doing 9999 damage by the then easily.

Try it, I doubt it should be any different for the GBA version instead of teh PS1 version.
 
Yeah, Ragnarok teaches Ultima, I believe :hmmm: I know I've never leveled up to the point of having anyone learn it automatically anyway XD I've also only played the SNES version though, so I don't know whether that makes a difference. To get Ultima to do 9999 even with Terra though, you might have to be at a considerable level anyway, I'm not sure. But I'm pretty sure you can't find the Ragnarok magicite until fairly late in the game anyway :hmmm:

Ragnarok does. But Terra automatically learns it after a certain level. :)
 
Oh I see. Well if that's the case, provided you used her a lot by the time she learns Ultima from Ragnarok, she should easily be doing 9999 damage. Since I am guessing it will be a hard spell to learn, she should gain quite a few levels by then. Combine Morph with the right equipment and 9999 should be easy since Ultima is so strong.
 
I learnt it from Ragnarok on my playthrough (so far only played once). It takes a while, but with enough random battles shouldn't be much of a problem, considering it's a worthy skill, so I don't mind some grinding.

She learns around 70, or at least for me. :p

Ultima isn't really that strong...or at least to me. I used it, but I happened to think Firaga and a Flood did a lot more damage. Maybe I should replay....

My brother always gets Ragnorok. I got him a few times, but the sword was cool, so I picked that one instead xD
 
I think what happened is that I used the FAQ to see what are the benefits of both, and it seemed getting Ultima appealed to me more. It was kind of the same deal with upgrading Odin into Raiden. I ended up not doing that, because I wanted to have Meteor, and annoyingly I think I only cast it once or twice since getting it. Lol. But anyways I am going off-topic now.
 
So, what do you guys think Terra would have done if her father lived through the end of the game? What do you think her reaction would be?

I think she'd be so delighted she'd kill over and he'd be overprotective of her xD

So this image hold so much emotion in it, I stared at it for at least twenty minutes. It conveys so much in such a little image, that I couldn't help but feel for Terra and feel all the pain she's ever felt, the life she had in the Empire....its just...amazing. I recommend looking it at it. Its my favorite out of the Terra images I found today.

I was thinking along the lines to this a few days ago while playing VI........I kinda wish that Maduin was playable rather than being a magicite.

if he survived, him being protective and all would kinda have an affect on Terra.......not saying its bad or anything.
 
I think it was better off that Maduin didn't survive. (Gosh, that sounded evil...)

But the fact that Terra has lost her immediate family, I think it symbolizes her finally cutting away from her past and her sadness and everything else to help her move on with her life so she can live happy with her friends and what not. :)

This one is so heartwarming.... very cute and sweet. So lovely. :D My favorite.

I wished he was playable too. When I was got to play as Maduin, I was like ":x3:"

What kind of effect do you think though? You think she would try and make sure it didn't go overboard or something? :)

Yea, it makes the story more compelling. But...hm, let me rephrase. In an alternate world, or maybe another Esper Realm formed and he was sent there and found Terra or Terra found him, how do you think the relationship would be? :P

When I am not using any newly acquired espers to get party members to learn a certain skill, I put espers sort of by default on some characters. Like on Sabin I'd put something with Str or HP+ bonuses for each lvl up, etc. For Terra I put Maduin, because it seems only right. :D

Oh my goodness! When I first got Maduin, I only put it on Terra -- well, after she learned the spells, I gave it to someone else.

It only seemed right to me as well... :hehee
