What is that one meal you cook up when you really can't be bothered?

That one meal that is easy enough for you to cook when you have no more energy but really need to fill that hole in your stomach?

How often do you have said meal?

Lately mine has been two minute noodles.

They don't taste the same as they used to sadly. :sad3:

Either that or my taste buds have changed. >.<

Anyway, when Steve hasn't started cooking and I'm starving, I usually have some two minute noodles just to get my stomach to shut up. :gonk:

How about you?

Please don't just say something like: A sandwhich.

I don't want this to get chucked in spam. XD

A sandwich. :mokken:

Actually, lately I've just been cooking up sausage biscuits. I'm not sure what it was, but I really wanted some. So I went to the store and bought some biscuits, and a few sausage patties and I've been making them about twice a week. Slap some cheese on that bitch and I'm eating like a fucking boss. :ryan:

For me it's either Pies or the cheap Cheeseburgers i keep stored in the fridge for lunches, Lol.

Then again, i love cooking! :monster:

I...almost never cook. Since I'm on university I don't have access to a stove lol. So anything microwavable is a plus. Usually, I'll eat literally whatever is in my fridge at the time (I don't keep it stocked) and, if there is nothing, I'll go to Taco Bell. Taco Hell is my favorite place to go when I'm low on cash and I want to get stuffed.

I have a couple of options.

#1 - Two pieces of buttered toast. This normally serves as a nice stopgap measure between meals or if I'm just bored (which happens more often than not, unfortunately).

#2- Can of soup. I usually keep a few cans of different soups in the pantry for emergencies just like the one described in the initial post. Nothing like emptying a can into a pot and calling it a meal.

im not sure it even counts as a meal, but it would be toast for me, minimal effort. even less effort if i just have buttered bread (only if i dont have a loaf thats frozen, which is very rare~)

Does making cereal count? Because that's as close to cooking as I get. I mean, I eat microwavable foods alot but I don't count throwing something into a microwave as cooking. Oh, and sandwiches. :monster:

If I have any, I would perhaps just quickly go microwave some ready-made meals such as Spaghetti and Lasagne. They're not exactly "meals" per se as they barely fill anyone up, but it does the job whenever you're a little hungry, can't be bothered to properly cook or when an actual meal just isn't yet due. I also tend to just boil some water, make a coffee and butter some scones - that more or less classes as a meal as I can't get enough of buttered scones and God knows how many of them I get through. Or thirdly I'll just get a cup noodle or something. I've a box of them from a store that sells Chinese food products, and that usually goes down well with me. xD

I think Stouffer's TV dinners would be my vice. I like a lot of them and they are quick and easy to make. My favorite is rigatoni pasta in this really light flavored marinade and chicken... I also like the macaroni and cheese and broccoli, baked chicken breast and mashed potatoes with a bit of paprika on them, and a few others :monster:

So yummy :gonk: I eat cereal late at night too.

When I can't be bothered to do anything interesting I'd probably just do myself some pasta and a random sauce very quickly. If I feel that's too much effort, then cereal or microwave ready-meals are always nice to fall back on. More often than not though it seems like I was so lazy I forgot to do the shopping and don't even have those at my dispose, in which case I'll usually just go with a takeaway of sorts!

Pan fried Ramen noodles, but I can fry them pretty fast like in 5 minutes or so, I hate eating regular ole' noodles with some packaged flavor, I usually toss some chinese vegetable mix into it and fry it with teriyaki sauce in the frying pan.

I really can't cook anything else faster than this so its my go-to meal, when I just need to eat something fast and easy.

Every now and then I have my go-to meal that I cook when I don't want to go out and buy something. A few months ago it was just steamed white rice. Lately, It's been bacon and eggs.

Me I'd have a Bloody huge 26" Pizza and try to finish it all on my own course Id have to starve myself for like 2-3 days in order to eatsomthing like that

and for dessert I would have a pint of Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ice Cream xD

Lol sorry kandy but the answer is a sandwich. When i cant be arsed waiting for the oven to make my food then il make an awesome sandwich. Its either that or toast of if i have any il have a rustlers BBQ rib. Delicious food in 90 seconds

It used to be pasta with a little cheese, but I've gotten really tired of that in the last year.

We tend to have dinners late cos our schedule's all over the place, buuuuut I love cheese on toast. ~_~ Not even grilled cheese, just a coupla thick slices of cheddar on toast and a cup of tea can easily keep me filled for eight or nine hours. If whoever's turn it is to cook is just taking the piss, I'll have cheese on toast for dinner and be done for the night. :wacky:

We hardly ever cook stuff that takes more than 20 minutes. For lunches, we always go with microwave-y stuff. It's just easier and less time consuming than cooking a full meal at that time of day. At that time, I'm already being an arse because I've been bored all morning (see: yesterday), and my Mom and Lil Broski just wake up angry. So we microwave our food and then split. We can't stand to see each other until about 2 in the afternoon. So yeah..... Hot Pockets, Soups, Lunch... things.

As for dinner, the worst we've done is a combo of freezer hot dogs and freezer fries. That's the laziest we've gotten as far as dinner goes.

Oh gosh, if I'm feeling too tired and/or blue to really cook/eat, I tend to have one of the following:
- smoked salmon with cottage cheese (high protein)
- a bowl of baked beans followed by a yogurt
- yogurt, banana and honey
- a soya dessert, followed by the vegetables my parents are having with their meal. :lew:

This doesn't happen often though.
