The Abyss of Chaos ~Sign ups/Discussion~

Eh, i think it would be better if we quit wasting post space in here and chat in the SB.

If you didn't get that, then let me put it this way: CHAT IN THE SB ABOUT THIS RP!

And i hope it's a really good reason that she's delaying, because an RP shouldn't really go this long without starting.

I'm sure we'll start in time.

Besides, all the bios aren't even completed yet. I'd sooner wait a little longer than have a rushed, incomplete bio. :monster:

Well, I say they have had quite the time.
Though, lucky as I was I only needed to complete some already under construction work on mine.
Though the extra writing took me quite some time ^^

I need whoever has started a Bio to complete it.

I'm incredibly close to my net cap so I can't post uber amounts or be on the forums for very long until Tomorrow.

And yes I have been busy. -_-

/me is wondering when this'll kick off.

I suppose we're still waiting for Addle's bio -__-

Sorry. I know this took longer than it should have, and it's still not fully completed. Probably spent too much time than needed on the history, too. <_<

Name:: Blanc Rohko

Age:: 28 at the time of the Magickal Holocaust

Race:: Demon possessed human

Gender:: Male

Class:: Demon Servant

Personality::

Physical Description::

History:: Before the Magickal Holocaust, Blanc was born into a family of wealthy merchants. His mother, who was frail in disposition, died during child birth. His father, who was already an old man of fifty years by the time Blanc was born, used the remainder of his life to teach his son the importance of order, which he valued above all else. The value of subjects ranging from money to human lives were bureaucratically placed in his father's own caste system. Wealthy merchants were placed high in this caste system, and while living in a mansion full of servants during his childhood, Blanc saw his father as a god among men. However, this changed once Blanc was old enough to join his father on trips to royal households, he witnessed how far his father went to maintain the order of his caste system. His father knew his place. He bowed deeply, and groveled at the feet of the old royals, who Blanc saw as no one special. As Blanc looked on in disgust, he decided to place himself at the top of his own caste system. He would not place one thing in this world above himself.

Blanc's father died at the age of sixty-seven; only a couple months after Blanc became seventeen. He didn't shed a single tear at his father's funeral. The family estate and business along with the servants were all left for Blanc as according to his father's will, and Blanc did as he pleased with them. At the age of twenty, he married the daughter of another wealthy family, expanding his riches. He wasted no time in making an heir, and his wife bore him a daughter one year later. It was five years later that rumors about Blanc began to form among the servants. They belived that their master was starting to lose his sanity.

It began when their master claimed to hear a voice that none of his servants, nor his family could hear. He began to punish his confused servants for insolence they could not remember speaking. Eventually, Blanc realized that only he could hear the voice, and tried his best to ignore it. However, the servants could tell when the voice pestered him. HIs eyebrow twitched, and his face tensed whenever he was being pestered by the disembodied voice. He could even be heard conversing with someone while he was in a room by himself. This was but only one instance leading to the rumor of insanity.

The servants also observed their master's eating habits. At dinner, he would try to eat the grand meal laid before him, but it would always be forcefully regurgitated back onto his plate. For some reason, he began to find the food he loved so much disgusting. He would hire and fire several chefs in order to find one that would cook food to his liking, but no matter how hard he tried to enjoy the food, it would always come back up as if his body was rejecting it. Soon enough, he stopped trying to eat dinner all together. Instead, he would go out for walks in the evening. In the morning, servants would find the carcasses of dead animals around the back of the mansion.

Three years later, the Magickal Holocaust occurred, and the order that his father valued so much had turned into chaos. After the release of magick, Blanc could no longer keep the voice in his head at bay nor the cannibalistic urges he was no longer able to ignore. His family had survived the Holocaust, but they did not survive the first night after.

Blanc knew that as long as he had whatever it was inside of him, he would not be able to live among other humans without them eventually comming after him with fire and pitchforks. He resigned to live in the wilderness following the voice in his head that tells him to live no matter what cost.

It gets more and more disappointing as time slips by. The date this entire role play was due to begin gets further and further from today. It definitely must have been brought to Solstice's notice that some of us here are getting impatient already, which is probably why she addressed this to be the result of her recent state of busyness.

Yet, despite having laid down a specific date for the entire thing to begin, 9 days have past.

There's no need to say this, but I'm beyond disappointed. Sure, life can get irritating sometimes. I understand that. It's good that it has also been told to us. But if it is known you are unable to proceed as previously planned, isn't it time to ask for help?

Maybe it might be because the sudden grip of recent events caught you by surprise...

But it is possible to share the role of the GM with others, so that the story may proceed on, or in this case, begin. So that the role players previously interested continue on being interested....!

Well, that said, I've voiced out what I felt. I'm not sure if the role players involved are still interested at all. I'm not even sure what will happen next, but I do hope something's due to be done.

@ Solstice Lowell

On a side note, I must openly admit that I am interested in your Final Fantasy X role play. However, it seemed to be intertwined with your recent absence. Whatever that's going on with your life now, good luck with it. :)
