ok I have tried and tested this. as far as CP goes I think this is the best spot. However if you want Gil than some other spots might be better, even death casting adamantoises because they drop the ingots more often with the cartographer cataloge.
When you leave Gran Pulse (forgot exact name sorry) and start heading to that long road underground before you ride the atomos or get to the tower.....you will see a bigass wolf and a Bohemoth fighting as you walk down the grassy hill before you change screens and go between the mountains. The monsters are worth 6,600 CP and it doesnt matter how you run into them you WILL get a preemptive strike....also they both start out with half life and completely ignore you. You can stagger and kill the behemoth first and kill him without him standing up and than stagger the other wolf and it will maybe take 20 or less seconds.
After that you just continue to the next screen and reset them. It will approximately take 1.5 minutes or a little less to do a whole run.
Benifits : Ive timed and tried the Adamantoise and it is better even with everything possible that can boost the death spell. You also never have to worry about running around and finding them, also you never have to worry about TP points or failing and resetting, these things may seem small but they add up very fast.
Negatives : Its not as much Gil as other methods, so its mainly just for the CP.
