The 'Best FF Game' Thread

ff 10 will always hold a place in my heart
it was the first i played
but i hate wakka
 
i'd have to go with final fantasy VII. it was the first i ever played and got me into it. then final fantasy IX just because i love the characters and hate when the main character doesn't get the girl, and he does in this one. its hard to pick a 3rd, cause theyre all so good. but VII and IX are definitely my top two.

My reasons for FF7 being the best have been stated by other before me.

FF9 was just incredible. The character designs and art is probably one of the best art i've seen. Vivi's character is just incredble.

FF10 was wonderfully made. The sidequests and the battle system is wonderfullly done. The sphere grid was awesome. Very well done game.
 
Aye, the majority of VIII's plot was pretty good. Shame, they could have done more with character backgrounds.
 
Lets see

1. FFVII just because after I played it I was ALL HOOKED on FF
2. FFXII I'm still playing it and loving it.
3. Has to be FFIX good good game
4. FFIII classic SNES and GB


I always wanted to try tactics and probabaly will upon my completion of FFXII
 
1. FFIX - it was my first FF game
2. FFX - who doesn't love it
3. FFXII - the battle system rocks
 
Here's mine in order from favorite to least favorite.

FFVIII - Awesome story line and one of the best supporting FF casts IMO.
FFX - Excellent story line, just a great game all around.
FFIX - Great story and great characters, also like the step back to the old.
FFVII - Great story and good characters.
FFXII - Excellent story line &.... Yeah. :\
FFVI - Good story and characters.
FFX-2 - I liked this one where most didn't, but I doesn't make to my top list.

All the rest that I've played, I neither like or dislike any more or less. :)
