Chocobos; :chocobo: do they Kweh or do they Wark?

No sitting on the fence here, this is a very important question :mokken:
Feel free to discuss.

And if a mod could remove the second 'n' from questionn in the title that would be spiffing :sir:

They kweh. There's not a doubt in my mind about it. There's even proven evidence of it.... :ahmed: What kind of mind trick are you trying to pull? >_>

It's like Choco is saying 'Simples' in response to you Sir Jeffington :sir: .

Male Chocobos go wark, the female ones go kweh.

The big chocobo question is what came first, the chocobo or the egg.

I was just gonna say, the chocobo KWEEEEEEEEEEEHs in FF9. Especially when you're about to break his beak and find the millionth potion in his forest.

It's 100% kweh :mokken:

It's both depending on its mood :mokken: Angry Chocobos say Wark.

They Kweh when they find something, and Wark when they want something.

Wark ftw.

It depends on the type and the mood.

I used to associate chocobos with 'wark!'

Then I saw 'kweh' a number of times in different games.

The rasta chocobos from FFXIII say 'kweh mon'.

It's all down to personal choice, and probably part of a sort of chocobo communication system.

Y'know what the issue is? The only sound-bite I've heard from a chocobo is "WARK." I mean, what does "KWEH" really sound like? The only other noises the chocobo makes sounds nothing like KWEH, but rather very high pitch whistle sounds.

Chocobos both WARK and KWEH depending on their mood.
KWEH = happy/neutral
WARK = pissed off or ready for action

HOWEVER - chocobos mostly go "KWEH."

So, KWEH! :chocobo:

I don't see how it's so impossible for an animal to make two different sounds?

But if you had to associate just 1 with a Chocobo which would it be :hmmm:

I don't see how it's so impossible for an animal to make two different sounds?

It sprang from a conversation I had with Jeff. I said Kweh, and he said Chocobos don't Kweh, they Wark! It's more tongue in cheek than anything, no-one else seemed to have a problem? :ahmed:
