The Divided Factions {RP}

Zeria sighed, gazing at the crowd.
~They know naught of despair....they care not for the Vast, who are brutally murdered or beaten every day........just like no one cared for me and my family....~

She wiped away a stray tear, letting her anger rise up again.

"Calm down, Zeria. This is stupid. It's just a ceremony that everyone is supposed to attend. It'll be over with, then you can get back on your journey to find that man..."

She sighed, watching once more, and surveying the area. Something just didn't feel right. Like something was going to go wrong. And she really stood out in this crowd, with her fiery red hair and pale white skin, plus her combat leathers and gear...

The ceremony was to be dued soon, so if Henrietta joined Rene, she would have to work now. So are you leaving now? And who might this man be? she asked pointing at Hydra.

Koffin had finally made his way to the celebration in Sky City, and now he was standing in a crowd of people as far as his eye could see. No longer should the people of the world have to deal with the hatred of the liberators now that the treaty was going to be signed...

All seemed to good to be true though... Koffin knew deep down inside that there will always be people in the world with their hearts full of hate and their minds set on destroying the lives of others simply because they do not belong with them. Yet who is to say who belongs with who? Only if people could learn to see past the outer appearance of people and not subjegate them simply because they are not the same...

Koffin stood and looked at the marvelous advances of the earth, tall skyscrapers, new technology, and even the blood coursing through his veigns was made different by the advances that mandkind had made...

Yet still, he knows that mankind has alot more to learn... advances towards peace that needed to be made, and hopefully all will go as plan tody...

Alberto, with nothing else left to do, went to the celebrations. "If the treaty is signed, then my effort that I fought for in the war, and the people who died in the period....It'll be well worth it."

OOC: Sorry for not posting as often... I've got a few problems... as of lately.

Hydra managed to evade the blow, but not fully; he got punched... but not round on the stomach.

"Gee... Rene, calm down! I know you know it's me..." Hydra stopped there, realizing that that was the very reason.

"Anyways, you came alone? No 'other' troops with ye?"

So are you leaving now? And who might this man be?

"Hey, did no one tell you that pointing is... ah, never mind. I'm Hydra, one of the 'great' minds between the exiles, but... I'd rather pass like any random Exile. I'd rather not kill, but I might have to... on extreme cases." Hydra made a small intro, but wasn't sure if he had made himself clear.

"Anyways, Rene, you got orders? Heh... Oh, and wasn't there a Vast woman right here just a moment ago?" Hydra scanned the area around him, but it seemed that she had gone, or at least that she was hidden by the dispersing persons.

Rene Skylar

"Seems like she went but who cares!" Rene smirked, he quickly checked his watch and realised the time. "Aww shit... We've been here waaay too long!" He tapped his ear and quickly ordered some grunts to clear the scene for them.

"We've only got about half an hour till the signing and I really don't wanna get my ass kicked by our bosses again." He smiled, "So, Hydra, Hen, join my team. We gotta keep the streets safe from terrorism somehow!"

"Think over it for a while and answer me after the signing." He smiled as he began to walk away. "Harry! You got your orders so go deal with them. Hen, I'll see you later."

"He began to sprint off as he ran up the side of a building and somersaulted onto the roof. He carried on walking forward as he opened a grate above his head and went back to the surface.

"Damn, I better go see Tyrn." Rene muttered to himself.

Leon Leinhart - 30 Minutes Till Signing

The streets were crowded with cheering men and women and children as Leon pushed through the crowd. He had his brown garb back on and had his eyes fixed on the place where the signing would occur. Two large golden poles had been raised and in between them was a simple table with a single solitary pen on it and two guards.

"Excuse me mister." A young female voice said. Leon looked down with a confused look on his face and noticed who was speaking. A small girl with long brown hair in ponytails was stood next to him.

"Yes?" Leon asked smiling in a fake way.

"Can I sit on your shoulders? I can't see." The small girl was carrying a small brown bear. Leon thought for a few seconds before deciding.

"Of course, I wouldn't want a single person to miss this event today." He smiled at the girl who had begun to jump up and down happily.

"Yaay!" The girl yelled happily, Leon bent down and the girl nimbly climbed onto his shoulders.

"That right..." He whispered quietly so the girl couldn't hear him. "I wouldn't want ANYONE to miss today..."

With all the ammo scrounged from the bodies, Henrietta reloaded and cocked every single weapon. Always be prepared to fight as she always believed. She approached Marco's body last. Marco was a smuggler, and a good one too. She need access to guns, so the easiest way is to appropriate his connections. No one would suspect her to betray them, even if she helped Rene. Most underground figures saw her something like a cop that would use any methods available, which was true. Fishing from his body was his communicator, wallet,business cards and anything she saw useful. I'll deal with this later...she muttered to herself as she stuffed it into the pack on her back and made her way to the ceremony.

Henrietta never liked crowds. So instead of getting a close view, she would rather see it from afar on a roof top than be in the crowd. Gripping the window sill of a nearby house, Henrietta gracefully leapt up the side and sat on the edge of the roof, legs hanging off the sides with her legs crossed.

Stephen sat up and looked around frantically, he was at home. "How did i get here?" he asked himself out loud. as he caught a glimpse of Ricky sat opposite the bed "I carried you" he announced looking slightly angry. "what happened" Stephen asked to which Ricky replied "don't know, you just passed out in the street and i carried you here"

Stephen stood up and walked downstairs he picked up his bag and threw it over his right shoulder "then lets go" he announced as he exited the room and headed out of the house.

OOC: BUMP! C'mon Blair. Post!

The crowd stretched endlessly before her eyes. Vast, Half Casts, Exiles, Liberators...all congregated in the single area. If there was a terrorist plot by rebel liberators, this was perfect. She knew their moral levels. Stopping at nothing, even civilian casualties, to complete their goal, this event was seriously dangerous, like a bomb. Henrietta was still juggling between helping Rene or just hang around when she saw a bunch of children running around, laughing. Humans and Vasts co existing eh...? That would be nice...Henrietta laid on her back, staring upwards, thinking back to her cursed past.

Stephen ran through town and into an old set of flats. on the street the ceremony would be taking place. ~i wonder whats happening with them right this moment~ Stephen thought as he ran through the door to apartment 4A to meet up with the two girls "Sarah, Jesse has it started yet?" Stephen announced as Ricky came through the door behind him "no, not yet" the girl dressed in red replied. As Stephen and Ricky sat down next to them .

"So, Hydra, Hen, join my team. We gotta keep the streets safe from terrorism somehow!"

"Heh, what do you say? We're not the only three... in this!" Hydra knew how this wasn't fully true... everyone would be busy doing something... everyone except a few...

"Harry! You got your orders so go deal with them. Hen, I'll see you later."

"Don't you call me Harry," Hydra punched Rene in a playful manner. "Lest you want to fight, heh." Realizing he was leaving something important out, Hydra proceeded. "Oh... orders? I finished all my work early... just like every other day." He was known to finish early almost everything he did, but it wasn't much of a good thing... for he usually just received more work.Without further delay, Hydra jumped to a high building nearby and continued his way. The city was bustling with people... all going to be carefully watching everything that happened. The event had to be perfect... or all those people would lose faith in them... either way, Hydra was not too fond of great congregations of people, so he'd wait in a high spot, watching how everything went out.

OOC: IT'S DEFIBRILATION TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!

IC: Stephen stood up and looked out the window, "I'm sick of waiting for this to start" he announced as he changed back into his tracksuit bottoms and pulled his mask back on "anyone coming?" he announced as he placed his bag on his back and ran out of the flat. only Sarah followed him (girl in red).

The two students ran down the stairs and out of the flat. they headed towards the town center. Stephen was faster due to his implants he strode up the stairs of the library three at a time and then slowed down as he entered. he heard two gunshots and dove on the floor, he looked around to see the girl in red had been shot in the back by a vast, the vivid skin gave it away. Stephen sprinted down the stairs and dove on him.

"I'll kill you you bastard" he announced as the gun slid across the town Square and Stephen began punching the Vast in the face repeatedly. Even though Stephen had tears streaming down his face he still wasn't going to stop punching the Vast who had shot Sarah.

A shot echoed from several alleys away. It was not loud, but Henrietta dove further in the roof and rolled onto her knees, alert to any more noise. She was planning to help Rene, so she might as well start now and check what the hell was going on. Slipping one of her M6D out and checking it was loaded and cocked, Henrietta leapt across rooftops for a few seconds before peering over the edge of where she estimated the noise came from. It was very close to the square as she saw a bunch of civilians backing away from the incident.

From her aerial view, she saw a guy standing over a Vast, beating the crap out of him with a girl bleeding profusely from a gunshot wound. She could not tell if he was a liberator or not, but judging from the girl, who wasn't, she guessed he probably wasn't the one that shot her since the Vast wasn't dead. The girl needed attention, quick. The boy was too busy beating up the vast that even if she is still alive, she would bleed to death. Henrietta speed dialled for emergency and set her location before sliding down the wall. You! What the hell are you doing!? You should tend to your friend first. she shouted, pulling out a med kit from her pack and rushed over to the girl's side, hoping that the hit was not fatal. She of course knew what he was thinking. He was obviously not military, not accustomed to friends dying. As a result, he was obviously in anger and to satisfy it, he went to beat up the Vast beyond what was required, instead of incapacitate him quickly and help his friend. Ah shit. Why am i analysing the situation again? she thought as she skid to a halt and knelt beside the girl, laying her pistol on the floor and checked for her pulse.

(Since she is your npc,
tell me if she is alive or not in your next post.)

Stephen stopped assaulting the Vast and turned to run back over to Sarah. he slid and stopped next to her and nodded at the lady who had come over to assist. Stephen checked Sarah's pulse, but there was nothing. he raised the young girls head off of the floor and slid her eyelids closed "Sarah...I'm..." Stephen pulled Sarah's head into his chest and broke down into tears, one of his best friends were dead and there was nothing he could do to change that. If only he had been calm and helped her, if only he had not tried to kill the Vast with his bare hands. Stephen blamed himself for her death.

Henrietta cursed under her breath as there was no pulse. The shot was lethal, through the back and into the heart. She placed the unopened med kit into her back and slipped in the M6D into its holster before placing both hands on her hip. A tinge of frustration from not being able to help the girl lingered on her mind, but she didn't show it. Peace was so close, yet people still died. She did not understand. Soldiers like her, she understood, but why civilians? Henrietta stood up and gave the guy some room and scanned the area for any other threats. The emergency service will be arriving shortly to take your friend to the hospital. The best we could do for her is to clean her up for her funeral. The Vast was not dead and moaned as he writhed slowly on the floor. Since there was no officers around yet, she might as well hang until they came. Okay, while we wait, what happened? While waiting for the guy (can't call you boy since you're older) to answer, Henrietta tried to get through to Rene. A Vast killing people was highly unusual and she had a terrible, cramped feeling at the base of her gut that told her something bad was going to happen.

Stephen gritted his teeth as he lay Sarah down gently and turned to the Vast who shot her, "we were going to the library, i was ahead of her, i heard two gunshots and then turned around to see her lying on the floor. i couldn't control myself, she wasn't moving and i jumped on him, the rest is kinda blank until you arrived."

Stephen then began walking towards the shooter "now if you don't mind, i have a beating to finish off" he announced as he grew ever closer to the Vast. as he walked he cracked his neck showing a large amount of rage.

Henrietta thought about letting him continue, but there were more important things needed from him then petty revenge. However, if she stopped him now, then there is a very large possibility that he would attack her. then, a plan hit her mind. She would let him continue to beat him a bit more and then question him. Use his anger as an interrogation tool. Wait. Wait for a second. Henrietta jogged to the down Vast and put up a palm as a sign of wait, before grabbing him by the collar and sitting him up. You. What are you doing, shooting civilians? They're not liberators, so why shoot them. The Vast was obviously more tenacious than she gave credit for. Henrietta's hand rose and gave him a backhanded slap across the face. Answer me. The vast spat out a sliver of blood, but continued to play mute. She let go of her hands and he slipped back onto the floor. That didn't work terribly well. she thought out loud before turning to face the guy. Go ahead, but i might need to speak to him, so please don't kill him off yet.

"with pleasure" Stephen announced as he grabbed the Vast's collar with his left hand and dragged him up. he then gave a devastating right punch to the Vast's nose, a large crunching sound signaled it breaking. As the Punch connected Stephen released the collar causing the Vast to slam to the floor. "i will say nothing" announced the Vast Stephen smiled "Fine then" Stephen then extended his right hand towards the girl "can i borrow your weapon please?" he announced calmly "And don't worry, I'm far from done with this guy to kill him just yet"

Leon Leinhart

"It is time." Leon muttered under his breath as bell behind him and the girl on his shoulders tolled five times. Everyone around him began to cheer as trumpets blared signaling the arrival of King Kalimay, Yeirn Harrow the liberator leader and James Dajal, the Exile leader.

"People of this holy city!" King Kalimay bellowed into a microphone in front of him. "I bid you welcome on this joyous day!" Screams of cheer followed as the man widened his arms to praise his people. The King was an old small man with dark brown eyes and the purest of white hair. "For a long century, a war has waged around this Earth. It seemed as though the end would never come!" Everyone was silent as the man spoke.

"But now! These two great men, fighters for their groups have come together for peace." He brought his hands together and smiled. "Today! A treaty shall be signed and no longer will the blood of men, Vast and any other race be shed."

"I give my leave." The man bowed his head and stepped backwards. James Dajal, the leader of the exiles smiled. He stepped forwards and grinned to the people widely.

"My friends, my family and my allies. I too bid you welcome." He spoke powerfully, he had short dark hair and brilliant blue eyes, everything about him showed strength and prowess. "For years we have fought to bring you peace, to be able to sleep in your beds without having to worry whether your family will live to see another day! And now that day has come!"

"Sleep! And do not worry for those you love! Pray for those who died to bring you peace! And pray to those who have lived!" The crowd erupted in cheer, everyone was happy and full of life. James stood back and faced the Liberator leader. He whispered to him, "Do you wish to say anything? Or are you too scared you may be "booed off the stage"?" He smirked but the man said nothing. Kalima placed a piece of paper on the table in between the two men and smiled happily.

"Are you ready?" Leon whispered as he tapped his ear.

"Affirmative. Do I take the shot?"

"... Do it." Leon confirmed, in the tower behind him, a man shifted his body under the bell and readied his aim. His finger tightened around the trigger... and pulled.

~~~~
Rene Skylar
A gunshot resounded. Rene's head spun in the direction of the stage. Everything was silent. King Kalima was on the floor, dead. Rene rushed forward as another gunshot resounded through the air. The Liberator leader fell to the ground as the bullet pierced through the cranium of his skull.
"SIR! GET DOWN!" Rene shouted as he charged forward, James stared at him as the boy rushed forward. He pummeled into the man just as another gunshot sounded. Rene felt an excruciating pain in his left side of his chest as he and his leader fell to the ground. "Sir! Get out of here!" Rene shouted as he held his hand to his bloody wound.
"The king! Is he harmed!" James demanded as he kept to cover by tipping the table.
"He's dead sir..." Rene sighed. He tore his shirt and placed it against the wound to stop the bleeding. "Any idea where the shots came from?"
"The bell tower. It has to be." James told him, Exile soldiers rushed onto the stage.
"Sir! Are you unharmed!" One of the soldiers asked as they kept a sub-machine gun at the ready.
"I'm fine! Get Captain Skylar to medical!" James ordered. As the crowd screamed and ran for shelter, Rene rested his head against the cold wooden floor. His vision began to blur but something in the crowd stood out, a tall man with a hood around his head remained motionless. Rene couldn't see his face but knew he was smirking.
His vision blurred once more and eventually he fell unconscious from the blood loss and pain. Meanwhile in the bell tower, a lone gunman was leaving all that would be needed to frame someone, in fact not just someone, but an entire race of people. The Vast.
Zeria gasped as gunshots rang out.
~NO!~
She rose up, trying to avoid any shots herself, and saw that one exile, Rene, get shot as well....then froze.
"No! Not the king! Not just when peace was finally about to be obtained!"
She looked around, watching the crazed panic that now was occuring.
~This can't be happening!~
