The Hym of the faith

I love it as well! Heck, I'm listening to it right now on Windows Media Player in the background. The only FFX song that could maybe sort of kind of be catchier, is the main theme.

Ahh, not really. When I had the entire Final Fantasy X soundtrack on my mp3 player and, and since it puts the music into alphabetical order, I had 10 or so versions of it one after the other! You grow a leeetle tired of it after that. :P It's a pretty song still.

I dont think I did, I might have hummed along to it when I was playing it but I don't remember ever actually doing it outside the game like I have with other FF tunes

A couple of weeks ago i went to the dentist and had a wisdom tooth removed and i was dopy from the novacane(?) and i was at the point where youi fall under the ice at macalania and just doze of to the music and so did my nephew apparently.....how cool is that?

It's really addicting, actually. It's like something you have to sing.

Imma pass it on to my kids and humm them to sleep with it. XD.

Lol I already sing it to my son:)

It just such a peaceful and ethereal song, one of my favourite FF songs of all time. Even the words are beautiful-

Ieyui Nobomeno
Renmiri Yojuyogo
Hasatekanae
Kutamae

Pray, saviour
Dream, child of prayer
Forever and ever
Bring us peace

Wait, is that original version you just posted Miss Valentine in Japanese?

Anybody know how many versions there are of this song?

It looks like Japanese, I believe so. There was a pronunciation guide with these lyrics that was consistent with Japanese too. It did actually puzzle me because the way the song is performed, in whichever version you hear, it doesn't sound very Japanese at all, it sounds more like they are singing in Latin. But I played the track and the words do fit. I can't say if the English translation is correct because I didn't do it, but I do believe the Japanese words are right. Makes a nice change from Latin.:)

Lessee- there's the Besaid temple version which you hear in some of the other temples, the Sending, a version for every fayth visited (eg. Ifrit, Shiva etc. These are sung with different voices), it's played in the ending, and there's probably more than that but I can't remember them all.

I, too, have experience the effects of playing FF-X. It's quite weird, that song does actually gets stuck in your head...

I can't deny that the song is so peaceful, it can help me to relax sometimes....o_O
