Played this game a few years ago. A friend of mine had it back in the day but it wouldn't run. Finally i got around to playing it in a different way.
I really enjoyed the battle system. It felt like there was skill involved and it was rewarding when you got accustomed to the rythm of your parties attacks. And I felt like I was making some progress. Even though I played this game many years after it came out i could tell it was a decent production. It was quite cinematic.
I've always wondered if I belonged in the minority but I much prefered the Dragoons of the past. Somehow they seemed way more interesting to me than the main party (except Rose). Never quite connected to the two main protagonists Shana and Dart though I did like some of the plot twists regarding Shana.
Wish more JRPGs had this kind of skill involved. Sometimes I feel all I need to do is I just press attack.
