ok, this is one of Square Enix's older games, ps1 old, this thread's perpous is to help people stuck on the games, so anyone need help?

yeah i dont think it is a square game either i think i have played it before and i really dont think it was a square game sorry dude

yea it is it is on the box i bought. Square enix took part in one way or another, or their name wouldent be on the box.

Im looking at mine and it doesnt mention anything about Square being part of the game. Its Sony, not Square. And if people needed help, Im sure theyd ask.

Dude I'm looking at my box right now and there is nothing about Square at all either you're lying or you've got a fake box art. Look on the internet and you will see that its not a square game at all

First of all, Square merged with Enix AFTER the game was out.
Secondly, this awesome game was made by Sony. Yes, Sony.
And Thirdly, this doesn't belong here. ;)

so besides that...just beat this. great game with a great story, definitely one of the best non-FF RPG's ive played.

I didn't like Disk 1, I hated it.
Especially the beginning, my characters did the EXACT same damage every attack.
Then Disks 2,3,4 were Ok, nothing too extraordinary

I wasn't that into the battle system...
I would have liked for there to have been more abilities, skill points, etc...
It was kind of repetitive and boring.

The story was alright though.

The story was kinda out there.
Odd that all the people who join your party got chosen by the Dragoon Spirits.
That kinda ruined the realism for me.

Its an RPG. To me realism can kill an RPG because its meant to be fantasy and an adveture. This is one of the best RPGs Ive ever experinced.

Omg, I remember this game I played it so long ago....

All I can really remember is the intro to it, it wasn't really that bad of a game.

Still can't remember it though.:O

>.< I feel so old. It seemed ages ago since I played this game. Dart was one of my favorite RPG heroes - he seems so cool and I like his attitude. The storyline wasn't all that superb or anything, but it does live up to the whole point of the game. The world was really unique...I don't remember it vividly, but I remember that I really like exploring many areas.

For a playstation game, the graphics was really great - reminds me of FF8, but of course, Legend of Dragoon did come out in 1999, and I believe it was around that time that the graphics has really began to impressed many gamers out there.

nothing odd about it, dragoon spirits attract other dragoon spirits.

Very good story and a very nice battling system. I liked those attacks a lot, and the way they always said the name of their attack/spell. I remember palying this when I was around 12 and went into the garden with a sword that' sin my house as decoration and mimiced Dart: Volcanooooooooo! Blazing Dynamooooooo! Good times.

I'm in love with this game but my PS2 seems to have trouble playing this game but I doint mind using my PS1 for it ^^.

Legend of dragoon was like ma favorite game when it first came out wel when i first bought it but i lost ma disks

I loved the game.

Granted the story wasn't as great as a FF, but still very good for a sony game and definitely worthy of it's role as a great RPG. The graphic at the time where impressive, Lavitz Slambert was one of my favorites and always cracked me up with his mother. The music was pretty good and the battle system was fun.

In my opinion, Legend of Dragoon is definitely one of those overlooked and underrated RPG's of that time.
