psp all the way...

make it for the psp. they could make it have crisis core like graphics, thus the graphics would be better then on the ds. plus the best ff series games, imo, have always been for the playstation, and cause i haven't played them on systems other than playstation ones. haha.p.s. merry christmas everyone. or if you're not catholic/christian or whatever like me, then happy holidays.

The reason that I can think of on why Square Enix is thinking of making it for the Nintendo 3DS is probably because the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII were all made for different Playstation consoles. Maybe they are thinking of making new games for different consoles not just for the Playstation. Anyway, if Square Enix is going to remake Final Fantasy VII: Before Crisis, then I hope they make it for the PSP too. It will sell alot more if they make it for multiple console.
 
I have to say, I'd be very surprised if they released anything Final Fantasy related for the Nintendo. I don't know why, probably just because I can't imagine it being on anything but the Playstation!

A bit off topic but it's been a while since I last posted (unforseen circumstances!) Last time I was here I mentioned possibly setting up a FFVII related RP in the Role playing section. I think it would be great to get some people involved in it; I can't remeber the last good FFVII RP I saw on here!

Would anyone be interested in it?
 
i've seen the translated videos in my acc blu-ray special features, but they don't really lead up to anything. kinda like a gun without bullets. plus this is another thing to talk about in the club so it's not as quiet...

oh and i can't view videos on the internet from my psp...
 
Do you guys think that some of the FF 7 Compilation games should have been made for a phone in the first place it seems like a waste to me like Before Crisis could have been a very good game if it was made for a console even if it was the DS more fans would have bought it and then they did it again with the Dirge Of Cerberus Lost Episode which was another waste as they could have inserted it into the Dirge Of Cerberus game as an extra scene. To answer your question Spawn I would like to see Before Crisis remade for the PSP cause it has better graphics and it would be nice to keep as much of the FF 7 Compilation to the playstation consoles as possibly

Even if Before Crisis doesn't lead up to anything Seph you can still see the story of some characters better and find out what happened's from someone else's point of view
 
I agree with this, games of the caliber of FFVII should be made for the dedicated fans and console users. I don t have much more to say, just that these decisions are often regretted.
 
Alright I got a question

Did you guys like the voices of the Final Fantasy 7 characters in the different games and the movie that were made after the original game. Were you expecting the voices to sound different from what they were or did you think they sounded great maybe there was a character's voice you really hated to hear or a voice that suited a character the best. So were you happy or disappointed with the FF7 characters voices

I saw this in another thread and thought I would ask it here to see what your opinions were on the FF7 voices

@Clerkin: Yes I like the voice overs of the compilation of Final Fantasy VII. I think that the voices matches very well with the character's characteristics, which it makes the game more interesting while listening to their voices as you go through the story and that's what makes the game look more interesting.

actually i thought the voice acting was really good. the only thing that seemed a bit off to me was tifa and barret. i thought that they would sound more upbeat and enthuseastic. i thought they both sounded a bit more mellow than as to how they were portrayed in the game. anyone agree?

oh and congrats on the new member. yaaaaay.

And now, to serious business!! The voice acting!! Well, actually first off, I'm gonna say that up until recently I made a point to only listen to the Japanese releases. I assumed that I'd prefer them and my comprehension of Japanese isn't bad. :D (yes yes, I know assume makes and ass out of u and me :D)

HOWEVER!! Dun-dun-dun!!! I recently got a copy of Dissidia in English and I actually really like Steve Burton's Cloud. He's exactly how I'd imagined him to sound!

Now! Keeping in mind that I'm British and that any accent that isn't my own already get +10 in the sexy department the fact that he had this soft American accent was just lovely! And (please forgive my ignorance in localities in the US!) he sounded just a little, teensy bit country boy! Which was perfect because Nibleheim is clearly a country town! I imagined him having that sort of tone!

I've seen AC:C in English and I didn't think much of any of the other character's voice actors, that is to say that they didn't offend or make me squee... apart from Sephiroth (Shall I give you dis pear?!) who is just sexy lovely sexy mmm...

Also, Tifa didn't need to say "dilly dally shilly shally" that much!
 
You are very polite arent you:lew: I aint never heard anyone refer to Sephiroth as "lovely" tho:srsly:? the voice acting for barret was a little too clownish for mine, Tifa was subdued, but I expected that.

We need to hear more Cid, and Red XIII has that really cool sophistimacated "dont worry Iknow what going on" Voice.

And Dissidia/AC:C Sephiroth George newburn? excellent job:ryan

I wish Cid said more I wanted to hear him shout a load of abuse to the other characters and Red XIII did sound like he was cool and sophisticated which I really didn't expect but I thought he sounded brilliant

I liked Tifa with a kind of mellow voice but Barret there was something about his voice I thought he would have been more of a tough talking person
 
You guys seem to have liked Red XIII's voice for that one line he had in that movie, but even though Nanaki is my favourite FF character period, I didn't think the voice suited a beast like him well at all, it darn well sounds like Seymour Guado from Final Fantasy X, and that just isn't right. X_x

Other than that, and the exceedingly annoying Cait Sith, I thought that voice acting overall was perfectly fine. :P

And welcome to the club, S.Girl. Like the new nickname? xD
