The Lifestream: A Final Fantasy VII Club

A few things stick out, especially climbing the stairs at Shinra Tower and like Barrett wondering when they were going to end! Also me swearing a lot when Yuffie stole all my materia and when Cait Sith betrayed the party. On a more poignant note, I remember coming to Icicle Inn soon after Aeris' death and seeing the videos with Professor Gast and Ifalna, that was quite sad.
 
May I join this club?? FFVII was my first FF and still favorite game ever! :)

Thank you so much! Been lovin FFVII since I discovered it through KH back in 11 grade, which was 6 years ago ^_^!

Advent Children was my gateway into the story of VII, having come across an ad for the movie in a magazine one day, sitting in the middle of art class. So I rented the movie one weekend on a whim and I was instantly hooked. I eventually got to play the game and been a big fan ever since. I'm gradually coming into other FFs, but VII remains to be my most favorite (with FFVIII a close second).

Well, I'll bite.


1. What if the story of Final Fantasy vII was more character driven like its predecessor instead of being only Sephiroth and Cloud supplying the plot? With no real main character?

2. What happened to Genesis during the events of Final Fantasy VII?

3. Was Lucrecia as pure as Vincent may her out to be? Or was she overly ambitous and only loved Vincent afterwards?

4. Is Cloud really a character meant top appeal to insecure fans as TVTropes say it is? Is cloud really a commentary on RPG Heroes and their fans om similar to Raiden from Metal Gear?

There are my questions and thoughts, please answer them in your own time.

It's FINAL FANTASY VII's 15th Anniversary today. Can you believe how long this game has been around? :gonk:
