Hi.
I'm new.
Wanna hear my newb story? I know you do.
Okay. Here it goes. I, apparently, adore Final Fantasy. I first picked it up when I was in 6th grade...played Final Fantasy X-2, as a matter of fact. Yes, I know, X-2 isn't the best way to go into the FF world, but hey...I was 10. I liked the pretty graphics and the pretty costumes.
After that, I was like, "You know what. This don't make sense." soooo...I bought Final Fantasy X. Which indeed made X-2 make much more sense.
So, I was happy with those two. Then, I was happily wandering around in Gamestop with $50 worth of Christmas money a few years ago and stumbled upon the Special Edition of Final Fantasy XII. Y'know, the one with the pretty hard case and the two discs. So I bought that. Loved it, of course.
THENNN I hear news of a Final Fantasy movie. What's that I hear? Final Fantasy Advent Children, what is this? I imported it from Japan about three months before it came out in the states. The subtitles SUCK, and to this day I question it's authenticity, but the point is, I got to see the movie before everyone else and it was great. But the story...didn't make much sense...since it was from a game I had never played.
And, speeding forward to now, I discovered just a few days ago that PSN offered Final Fantasy VII! And to my great pleasure, I had just bought a $20 gift card for PSN that day, so I snatched the game up. And I utterly became addicted to Final Fantasy VII. I went out and rented Advent Children in English and watched it again and BOY, did the story make so much more sense.
So I'm here now.
I went a little crazy with the storytelling, I know.
Also. I like cosplaying, anime, conventions, Kingdom Hearts (Oh yes.), paragraph roleplaying, and lots of other fun goodies.
Nice to meetcha. ;D
