Crisis Core the most disappointing thing about Crisis Core

Oh I know that, but I still used them when I was trying to kill the stupid thing....perhaps I was underlevelled, but once I had started it I wouldn't let it beat me so I kept at it til I beat him. Annoyingly, half the time I was dying was because I was locked on to attack then I'd decide I neeed to heal but it wouldn't over ride the attack, went right in to attack, I got a slap in the gob and died while I was furiously attacking the X button on curaga. It was well annoying :wacky:

The one thing that annoys me is being hit with stop and just sitting there waiting and waiting for it to go away. >< Plus all those times that I could of gotten a limit break nope....not going to happen....>> and wasting my phoenix down because i was hit with a death spell....that was before i got the safety bit of course. Some parts of this game are annoying like death spells and one hit deaths but once i got over 10,000 hp some monsters cant kill me with one hit an with my max attack being 99,999 this time around i can defeat Bahumat Fury with one hammer punch.

Yeah I did most of my missions in that first floor of the Shinra building as well, where a free potion drink was readily available to me. As for phoenix feather, I got one and never used it. xD Even when I died and it would automatically revive me, I would restart the game just so I can give it another try and not die that time around. But in all honesty, I rarely died in that game...definitely less than five times throughout the game, so I wasn't actually annoyed when it came to phonix downs/feathers.

I am annoyed at the fact that when I finally do trigger the DMV mode, I would think, "YES! Finally, just when I needed it the most!" and then...nada. =/ Nothing matches, not even a damn level up. I then find myself screwed and saving Zack's butt desperately.

That is possibly the most irritating thing of all, not only do the images not match but none of the numbers do either, and I'm sure it gave me 776 so often just to wind me up, it's even worse when it happens on a summon DMW or the special character change or whatever it was called. So far I have had magic pot once, cait sith a million times and the others never.

I'm also still waiting to see Bahamut Fury pop up which really irritates me because I had a ball ache trying to get the bugger. 100,000hp my arse -_- I didn't see that one coming, took me ages -__-

It made me really mad at times :gasp:

Since it's basically the same discussion, I shall merge the two threads together.

Sounds like you guys have relied on the DMW way too much. Get some Materia! Often I've practically walked through a battle just on materia alone. I love the battle system and had no trouble with the DMW, it works well. In a long battle (usually a boss) I've gotten a couple of level ups and plenty of limit breaks and summons. Do the missions, I can't stress that enough, they do help!

Unless I am missing something, I dont think we even have the choice to rely on it... It just happens! I have no control over the DMW at all!

One thing that really bugged me about Crisis Core that it was too short if they made it longer it would have been perfect.Other then that the games okay.

the most dissapointing thing about this game was the repetitive missions, and the unbalanced difficultys... ie if you cant absolutely destroy normal mode theres something wrong with you, and your an actual champ if you can beat minerva in hard. i mean there should have been easy (which would be like normal really is), normal ( an actual NORMAL difficulty) and hard (as hard is.) that being said, this is only relevant to some ppl, personally i didnt see a problem as im just enjoying the challenge of hard mode atm :)

gameplay wise, story wise, music wise, this game is briliant. a little more exploration woulda been nice, and a few more storyline dungeon type places like the final one woulda really added some length to the game.

overall i give this game an A. i luvs it :) most disspointing thing was it felt slightly clautrophobic from repetitive environments and lack of storyline related map exploration... but thats bein a picky assface

oh and riddick, thats odd, coz i had none of those problems :S i get FURy all the time :P

One thing about it was they werent random battles..... the only tme u can battle is when u go into the big circle areas

The only thing I didn't like about this game are the optional missions on hard mode -__-

I mean, I find it difficult on 'normal' difficulty missions :/ Also, when you're on the plains, I can never find as to where I'm meant to go :gasp:

Also, even though there is a great selection of materia, they're all bland and get rather boring (except explosion blade :wacky:)

Hm, i kinda found the game short, even though the there are side missions to help lengthen the game a wee bit...
I was hoping the game would touch on how Zack got into Soldier, and more of his early years, rather than throwing us all right away into him in Second Class...

Yeah, no airship and map ftl.

But what really annoyed me was how you entered a battle every time...Entering combat mode! and Conflict resolved.

phial :omg:

Yeah I really did want a map and an airship, it pissed me off that right after I left a place I couldn't come back to it unless the game wanted me to -.-;;

The most disappointing thing about Crisis Core to me was the inability to skip cutscenes.

*Grinds teeth* I mean geez, I had to go through the Angeal/Hollander Bathhouse scene about six times before finally moving on, driven absolutely crazy around the fifth time. They could have at least added a "skip scene" in the Pause Menu like they did in KH2 to speed things along.

Other than that, everything was great...

I second that one

If in any case you died due to lack of skills, mistaken materia combinations,or that fact that all your magic or physical attacks doesnt work on a foe .

Guess what!?
You have to watch that 1 hour cutscene over and over again
because most of us do not have the common sense to save after a cut scene is over lmao

The most disappointing thing about this game for me was the fact that every side mission was exactly the same, they got really boring after a while -__-

Yeah the Missions were basically the same thing over and over again, you go in there and kill a few monsters, get the boss and there you win =D!!!
The cut scenes....ugh....I just set mah PSP down and did something else until I heard "Activating Combat Mode" Which after a while got annoying too :3

even though there was no airship and map to walk around, im pretty sure SE will remake FF7 with greater graphics than the original. I think it's good that there wasnt a an airship, because if there was, there had to be a reason why. and than if there is a reason why, the story will only be longer and more concerned on Zack. All around, the game was pretty short, but i like it how it flows with AC and DOC a little. Im pretty sure in the future, the PS3 version of FF7 will shock the world as it did in 1997. i hope SE puts more Zack into the future remake of FF7, because in the original FF7, Zack was barely known to Cloud.
