The most tragic death in Final Fantasy?

I'd have to say reddas because it seems as though he gets killed by basch betrayed by his own captain only to find out later that he didn't really do it.
Aeris because she was an ancient the last of her kind.
Tidus because he was the main character a first for a final fantasy game.
 
I will put it in spoiler because a lot of people have not played this game:

I think Type-0 ending has the most tragic death sequence in a final fantasy :(
 
Leo always comes to mind first in my head, because he was so nice and loyal and just wanted to bake everybody chocolate cake made with love, basically.


 
Tidus in FFX while not really a death as he truly wasn't alive(He simply ceased to exist at the end as he was just a dream of the fayth) I felt that seeing him go was worse then seeing anyone else die as you as the player had spent the game in his shoes playing the game from his perspective. Seeing him resign his fate and knowing the pain both him and Yuna felt it jsdut had more impact then if it had been a secondary character or just a regular npc.

The impact i felt when he did was something that stayed with me for a few days and actually felt a weight to it. And any death in a game that can do that to a person is truly special and worthwhile as it shows you were invested in that character enough to form attachments.

Vivi's little speech at the end *sobs*
And Cloud holding Aerith in his arms with his heartbreaking speech about his pain and her not laughing and crying anymore. When stoic Mr Soldier broke down like that, I cried. I had already had her death spoilt for me so I wasn't expecting that I would be that upset.
But ugh, the music, Cloud's heartfelt words.... damn
