The Music of Final Fantasy VI: Rearrangements and Remixes

I have heard quite a few official versions of the FFVI Theme and Terra's Theme over the past few years. Please use this thread to share any rearranged/remixed versions of FFVI music you have heard and comment on those others have posted.

For me, it's all about the Black Mages. Their rearrangements are absolutely incredible!

I may or may not have this on a CD I listen to in my car.

This is quite possibly one of my favourite pieces from the OST and I do enjoy this rearrangement, with the layers of strings and brass around 1:10 in! The movement from one tone to the next, from a fast pace to a slower one, from the louder brass instruments to more subtle instruments like the flute, is fantastic! The little bridge in 2:30, which leads on to a marching pace of the theme, is quite good too as it makes the piece more dynamic and expressive.



This rearranged version of Terra by a FF fan is also rather beautiful.

FF VI - Decisive Battle

I like the fast pace of the song & how it pushes the person playing it.

Even good musicians make noticeable mistakes playing it.
