what was your highest level achieved without using the cheat book? i got up to level 29 and couldnt get to the 30 it was just too hard to memorize and i couldnt be bothered writing the stuff down so what was your highest level?

Level A! It's a matter or trial and error. If it takes 300 tries, then it takes 300 tries

yeah, i got A rank too... what sucked is that was that was the only way to gain money though... you never know when you're gonna get paid.

it took ages but i got to keep 6 of my exams to keep me at A rank because i did things that managed to keep me gaining ranks throughout the game (don't ask how, i don't even know)

Actually there's a better way to make millions very fast but you need Tonberry's ability to lower down buying prices and Tonberry's raising up selling prices (forgot their names ). Anyways, you buy 100 Tents and then using the ability that converts items for you (forgot that too ) and convert it to 25 Mega Potions that would sell for much higher than you bought the 100 tents!
Ive also gotten Max lvl but I prefer the Mega "Potion way to make money.

well, i know of that way... but i couldn't erxactly work it so well, since i only found out a day before i returned it to my friend. But i prefer any way to get money. the sad fact is, you don't get money from fiends. every other FF has that method... so why didn't 8?

Mines at 23. I just get it up with out the seed test. In fact I have not taken the test and its at 23. The way you get it up is either:

1) Seed test.
or
2)Fighting. Alot. Right now thats all I do and it goes up every now and then.

Well guess what I got up to level 30 in it!!!
And I didnt use a cheat book!!!
You see my mum plays it as well, we always start FF games together its fun its something we have in commen(we both love the playstation and rpg's like FF and Grandia and all those types of games).
Any way it took us 4 Hours of playing to figure out all the tests.
What we did is say yes to every question then no to every question and that gave us a number of how many are yes and no so that made it easier with our general knowledge of the game.

I never thought of final fantasy to be a mom kid thing but yeah its good that you can enjoy these games with your parents get the whole fam damily involved and you have an ending for the ages

I have three saves, that .. for two, haven't even got the SeeD status yet, and my other two saves (i have four) for one, its lvl A the other, disc one, fairly new... no idea...

I got to level 19 but i never actually took the seed test just never got demoted and got promoted for a bunch of random stuff.

Okay news guys, my latest save (the one i started when finally bought FF8) just got SeeDed and my starting rank was 5!!! I think that's the highest possible!!! because every other time, i've gotten 2 or 3 at most.

pointwise, i got:
50

30
50
50
but i can't remember exactly what they were for, 30 was attack, i know that much... 50 for all the rest.

I think I got to max level, if I remember right. I'm one of those people that after I beat the game, I reload my save and just go back and level up like crazy and get as much items and weapons as I can. I got bored with FF8, collecting and leveling up like that, after a while, so now I'm doing it for my FFX game, lol.

everyone gets to max level at one point or another... i tend to go from one FF to another, then to KH, then to DMC3, and so on until i can't get enough... I can't wait for KH2 though...

but anyway... i'm up to SeeD level 14 in my latest save, with only passing the 9th seed test... all by luck!!!

Wow, I didn't even think of that. That's pretty much awesome.

I never could get my mom to play any of my FF's. She's more realistic, and she'd be extremely thrown off by all the... Fantasy. lol. But she did play one of the Resident Evil games (the one with the main character Jill, can't remember which one) religiously.
