The Tale of the Forgotten - RP

With the town of Mygeeto being so far away, Arthvader decided to take a small break nearby a small forest. As he put his stuff down, he noticed Felldoh, holding his swords as if he was about to train. 'What is he doing here? was he also planning to go to Mygeeto? I should ask him. Also, this would also be a good time to train alongside him.'

With that in mind. Arthvader walked to Felldoh. "Hey there, Felldoh, how are you doing? I noticed that you had your spears out, so, I was wondering, you want to train together?"

Damian Stumbled backwards from Taharka's kick. He quickly recovered, but by the time he looked up, Taharka was facing in the opposite direction running. It was truely puzzling. Why would he be running from this fight if he was so positive that he was superior.
Then he saw it. Taharka was going for the entrance. Damian emediately took off after him, but he was too fast. Damian could not catch up.
that was when he noticed Vex also in pursuit of the enemy. He ran along side him.

"It is good to see you again, Vex. I am sorry we didn't wait for you back there, but as you could see, there was a bit of trouble."

His breaths were heavy from his previous fights that day, but he kept pace. He could not show any weakness here. He had to be strong for his friends, and could not allow his enemies a chance to overcome him.

((For the record, Arth, Felldoh is training with his swords, not spears.))

Felldoh heard the voice and quickly rolled, coming up into a ready stance. It took a moment for him to recognize it as Arthvader, the one who had changed sides to stand with Taharka. Loathing coursed through Felldoh's veins, but he kept his face friendly, if a little bashful, as he rose up.

Maintaining the act, Felldoh lowered his swords and spoke back to Arth. "Heh, sorry about that matey, didn't see you there. Careful, you don't want to sneak up on a squirrel, they'll cut your eyes out." Inside Felldoh seethed, wishing that he could do just that.

Felldoh looked thoughtful for a moment, staring at his horse, who was still taking a nap. "Hmm...I suppose we could train, but once my steed wakes up, we'll have to get going." Felldoh's eyes flashed as he stared at Arth. "Yes, let's train."

Felldoh raised his swords and adopted an offensive stance, his right blade hovering behind his right ear, and his left blade under his right arm. He crouched slightly, ready to move at a moment's notice. This would let him take off some steam.

((For a better idea of Felldoh's stance, it's the one that Sora uses while he's in Valour Form, from Kingdom Hearts II.))

OOC: Sorry for the short post... I'm a little overwhelmed tonight.

IC: The blast annihilated all present soldiers that barricaded the doors with their own bodies, littering the foyer with armour, swords and helms alike. The few that were still standing in the immediate vicinity charged immediately at Taharka, whereas those spectating few towards the rear of the room simply fled.

Taharka used the cloudy air and lingering confusion to his advantage in the ensuing conflict as he guided their unwilling hands to one another's blade, dodging and parrying as they lunged aimlessly in his general direction. Blood splashed, sprayed and oozed onto the ashen floor, as all but one defender was felled by Taharka's great lance. Alas there was no time to waste... Garden Masters were still to be located and slain according to his master's will.

"Nice style you got there, Felldoh. Here, let me get ready." Arthvader said, taking out his pair of flame broadswords. He then crouched down, holding his right sword above his head, and his left sword across his torso area, preparing to defend. "I'll let you make the first move, Felldoh. Let's make this a good match, okay." He said, ready to battle.

Felldoh's mouth was almost still as he whispered, "Be careful what you wish for."

With that, the squirrel gathered his wits about him. With a flourish, he jumped to the side. The Sword of Light was shining, madly so, to such an intensity that it almost appeared red. It created a fantastic blur as Felldoh moved.

Felldoh launched himself at his opponent, returning the swords to their original sides. As he ran, the tips of the blades dragged along the ground, sending up dust behind them as they cut shallow marks into the earth.

Not five feet from Arth, Felldoh whirled his blades around, bringing them both under their opposing arms. He then did a horizontal double-slash, his swords aiming to pincer Arthvader and slash his torso.

Just as Felldoh made his attack, Arthvader Prepares his defense by positioning his swords straight up in front of him, in hopes of deflecting the attack. Upon contact, Felldoh was stronger that what he originally thought, seeing how he was knocked back from the attack, taking some damage towards the torso, although it wasn't much. Arthvader then turned his attention towards Felldoh, Preparing to counter attack.

"Hey, you're not bad, Felldoh. This might be interesting"

He said as he took at least three feet back. He then charged towards Felldoh, Delivering a series of vertical and horizontal slashes. (Note that he is doing six slashes in this attack)

"... yes master. I was merely attempting to be thorough with my scourging of this place." He gazed upon the chipped stone stair-case that led to the upper floor where, he assumed, the remaining SeeD leaders were residing in hope of making a final stand against the opposing legion.

His new orders entailed razing Mygeeto to the ground. However this concerned Taharka, as some members of SeeD may survive his final onslaught to the city ... nevertheless, it was an order he had to follow. Turning heel he headed through an opening in the eastern wall, avoiding the approaching attackers from the main gate to the south of the building. "This is an unnecessary act..."

The twisters gradually tearing through the south-most region of Mygeeto fell to a sudden halt and all sound was vanquished in an instant - natives to Mygeeto ceased screaming, swords stopped clashing, wind stopped blowing... 'twas an eerie scene for those caught up in the ordeal as though time itself has stopped everything around them. Much unlike when he used his powers, Taharka's gauntlets were not emanating wind energy this time, nor radiating its brilliant light when he exerts himself - this time they were still; grey as the clouds above. Now Taharka's entire body reacted to an overflow of force as he absorbed energy from the infinite font of power that was the Air Gem; his very material presence began to dissipate in tiny particles of grey and pale green as he began one with the power he absorbed. A tremendous fiery emanation of wind energy surrounded him as if he were ablaze, or what could be called 'him' for now he was but pure energy ... such power ... Taharka dispersed into the sky above, provoking the winds to his presence as he accumulated its ever growing power.

... this would be a destructive energy like no other. A hurricane to end all hurricanes was in the making, and only mastery of the Gems could prevent it.

OOC: I understand this may look a whole lot like power-playing or whatever, but this is just an exaggerated device to help me move on from Mygeeto. We're getting very little activity here, so I might as well do something to prompt otherwise.

Before Vex could say anything to Damian, the weather took a drastic change. Damian stopped in place. He knew something was strange about the sudden rise in wind levels.
"This does not look good." His face grew dark as the uneasiness crept through his body.
Black clouds began to form right in front of Vex and himself. It was Taharka. He knew it, but he didn't know how he knew Taharka was the cause. That Tyrant was doing this and all Damian could do was stand there and watch.

(OOC:just a little short something to see anyone else will join back in.)

{OOC: but of course. I've been waiting for someone to post XD}

Zeria ordered the units to keep the entire building protected. She was the only one let out...and her fiery red hair blew wildly in the wind as she stepped out onto the battlefield, blades in hand. She was going to fight to protect this place if it cost her life.

"Bastards! Whoever's leading this, come fight me now!"

Her voice had been filled with anger and sorrow. She didn't want to fight, but was angered to think someone would destroy the place because they weren't allies...

Felldoh whirled his swords expertly, using them as counter-attackers as well as blockers. Felldoh parried the first three swipes interchangeably with his blades: the first with his right, second with the left, and third with the right again. The fourth, Felldoh sidestepped left to evade, with a sharp intake of breath as the keen edge of Arthvader's weapon swiped across the right side of his torso. The fifth missed entirely as Felldoh ducked down, and the final blow was blocked by Felldoh bringing his blades up, creating an X with his foe's weaponry at the crosspoint.

The squirrel wasted no time. The wind blew hard as he rolled to the right, pushing himself back onto his paws and leaping backwards. He re-adopted his original stance, positioning the left blade under and behind his right arm, with the right blade hanging beside the ear of the same side.

Felldoh circled, watching his opponent warily. Then, without warning, Felldoh launched himself at his opponent, thrusting his left sword in a stab to the chest, while the Sword of Light came down on Arthvader diagonally, from left to right, the dazzlingly intense blade shining with prolonged vigor.

Vex himself stoped in fear, as he felt the force of the wind build up and noticed a hurrican starting to form. He could do nothing but stick his sword deeply into the ground to brace himself the ever growing winds, he stared in awe as the gurricane grew ever more. His discomfort growing even further as he had no idea how to stop it. He doubted that what little power over the holy gem would be able to disperse these winds. He looked over to Damian and shouted to overcome the howling of the wind.

"I suppose you don't have any idea how to stop something like this do you?"

"I am sorry my friend. I do not know of a way to stop this thing."
Damian's face turned to that of sorrow and his chin fell to his chest. He felt sadness from the fact that he could do nothing to protect his friends, or even give ensurance.
Then he realized something. He lifted his head and grabbed Vex by the Arm.
"We must go. we must get out of this storm before it kills us."
Damian took off running for the heart of the storm, yelling, "If this is what I think it is, there will be a calm in the center! Maybe we can find a way to stop it in there!"
As he ran he began to feel a small preasure trying to push him away. It was magical in nature, but it wasn't the wind. It was something else on the other side of the storm. The source of the preasure must be what Taharka is after.

Zeria couldn't hold back her need for revenge much longer, but the new threat to the town and its people would have to take priority.

"All class S units! You're with me! We're going in to protect the town!"

"Yes ma'am!"
"Let's go!"

She and her 12 person unit rushed straight for the town. Their goal was to evacuate the townspeople first, then fight the opponent later, or during if it came down to it...

Determined to end this senseless and futile battle, the man stormed through the enemy ranks, swinging his threatening blade from left to right and right to left. Bodies were hit and slammed against the walls as the man used the mighty and awesome power of the false dark gem he had embedded on the blade of his sword. His threatening sword glowed with a fierce and villainous reddish aura as the silent knight continued to incapacitate his enemies with the corrosive and poisonous effects of his dark magic.

As he vanquished the last of the opponents before him, Julius "Seymour" summoned forth his own unit and pressed forward, invading the town and surrounding the opposition.

(OOC: bit of editing has been done. Hope it suits >_< can't believe I missed that we were surrounded. Then again, it was late and I was uber tired and sick...oh well. This editing should work}

Zeria heard the sounds of battle raging ever closer and began to try and rush even more.

"Hurry up! Get these townspeople out of here! Now!"
"Yes ma'am!"
"We're hurrying, ma'am!"

She herself was even running about, lifting and carrying small children to her other units, but there wasn't anywhere safe left. There was no way out of the town anymore.
~We're too late! They've already got us!~
Zeria began to panic and try to figure out a way. There had to be some part of the surrounding forces to break through and evacuate the townspeople in somewhere! Didn't there?! No. The tornado had them trapped. There were too many obstacles by now. She'd have to take out the Dark Knight, Taharka, and their forces....~Ha, this is gonna be damn near impossible!~

"HURRY, SEEDS! THE ENEMY HAS US SURROUNDED! PROTECT AND VALUE THE TOWNSPEOPLE WITH YOUR LIVES!"

Sweat glistened on her brow and panic seen in her eyes. She valued these people at a high priority, and losing even one would cause her to feel responsible.

Vex could not stand any more of it, fighting constantly aganist the winds to get through to the eye of the tornado. His despration and anger growing as Damian and him fought through the winds. Small debrie from the high winds continuied to savage him, leaving numerours amounts of small cut's and bruises on his body. Finally after what seemed like countless hours of strugling to him he reached the center. It was quiet there and peacefull, allmost as if nothing had been touched, though the howling of the winds from the tornado could still be heard. As soon as Vex stepped forth some more he let out a yell of pure anger, "Taharka where are you, come and show yourself you coward. Why are you hiding, are you to scared to fight me? If so that must be why you are hiding behind these tornado's! Why not come out and face me!"The last part of his speech was said with more excitment. His anticipation was growing, he was all to eager to settle his match with Taharka.

With little time to react, Arthvader managed to guard Felldoh's attack to the chest by adjusting his left blade to the side, just so that the attack stopped upon contact. as for the diagonal attack, he swung his right blade the opposite way that Felldoh was swinging, causing the blades to clashes against on another.

"Well, it seems that this could get really interesting. What you say, Felldoh?" Arthvader said as he pushed himself back from the attack, staying at least five feet away from his opponent. Going back to his original stance, with his left blade below and in front him and the right blade above him, Arthvader began sending a series of wave slashes towards Felldoh.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OOC:Note that he is going to send at least five wave slashes towards Felldoh.

"Scared?" his voice thundered through his corporeal lips, "hiding? Hu hu, but I'm right here! There are no hiding places anymore - this is the only location you may hope to be, in order to live... no more places to run, to hide... to cower..." With a burst of pulsating energy he initiated the final action of his spell - the walls of the great tornado began closing in at a steady pace. Slowly but surely, providing the not-so subtle implication to the survivors that death awaited them in a less than painless way.

Taharka, still immersed deep within the energies of the Gem he possesses, descended slowly and calmly, to Vex's location - landing softly a few feet away from his challenger. "So you challenge me, good sir? Again? Foolish though you are, I do find your resolve to be somewhat... admirable. However... can you not tell? Can you not feel it in the very core of your being? I am far stronger, faster, greater than you... and your particularly silly friends. At least, this reins true now as opposed to our last encounter. I hope for your sake that you've mastered more of that Gem - lest you be left battered and beaten, cowering within these enclosing walls of impending and certain death. Come, brethren, meet your predominant counter-part."

It was only a matter of time for the empire to capture and secure the area, and Julius was making sure everything went according with the empire's best interests. Most of the rebel forces, including the unexpected foes known as the "SeeDs" were either terminated or forced to retreat. Some of Julius Seymour's unit is on the pursuit of several rebel groups that were sighted outside of the town, still most of the area was already in control. Julius was pleased. As the knight halted his unit's advancement, he praised his soldiers for the excellence they have shown on the battlefield.

The dark knight gave out a single sarcastic laugh as he carefully and slowly sheathed his blade. His thirst for glory was partially quenched, and now Julius was intoxicated by his own ego, his pride was fueled by this minimal victory. Now that the issue concerning the rebel activity in this town was settled, Julius was free to concentrate his mind on more important affairs and now his eyes were set on a more desirable goal; the seductive power of the gems. The Wind Gem was in Taharka's possession, and although Julius was loyal to Taharka, Julius too wanted his share of the bargain, and of course, a gem to call his own...

Will the power of the Fire Gem fall in Julius' grasp? One could never know...
