The Unwritten Legend

Name: Brianna

Gender: ♀ Female

Race: Ferfnir. A race of humanoid Wolves, that have the strength of a Wolf, and the intelligence of a human.

They are a gifted race that are a Wolf sub species with some skill level of shape shifting, some having a more or less human-like human shape if they have very good skill with it or just decent, they can all freely shift between the human shape and a normal shaped Wolf at will.

Being very Wolf-like in appearance, being just as covered in fur as one a regular Wolf, only taller, standing upright on two legs (when not in their Wolf shape), it doesn't require a great deal of shapeshifting skill to make the change, it just causes for a slight downsizing and forces them into a quadruped stance, and can't run or even walk any good on two legs.

Their personality is almost always like that of a human at all times, though there is definitely a lot of Wolf in them, sometimes it shows, but generally not the vicious side of one, but more like a tame, playful one.

Their fur is usually fairly long, and varying in color, most often being similar to the colors of a normal Wolf, like a Grey Wolf, Timber Wolf, Arctic Wolf, etc., though some have odd, if not interesting patches of fur on them, or their primary color of fur being unusual (though this is very rare, especially the latter).

As for their physic, it is not very noticeable under all their fur, but they have quite muscular, compact bodies, that can withstand a lot of damage from attacks without it hindering their fighting ability.

Even though they generally like being in their human shape just fine, some people mistake them for Werewolves when appearing to them like this. It is an unfortunate fate for the race, many of them spend more time than they would like in their quadruped Wolf shape to avoid causing such alarm to people they come across, while some don't mind being in that form at all.

They like to be around people quite a lot, so as a result, there may some Wolves seen around that are actually beings of the Ferfnir race, doing what they must to be accepted by people and fit in better.

Depending on the environment one grows up in, they may or may not have any spiritual beliefs. While most do not, those who are around people very much, particularly a community of people that go to a church in their area.

Sometimes when, due to circumstances, they must be around a certain person or group of people, some or all of which think they are a Werewolf, they may just go with it and not explain their race to them, while some will.

Alignment: Chaotic Good

Age: 26.

The average lifespan for a Ferfnir is 100 years: The equivalent of an 80 year old human and a 20 year old Wolf. The longest one has been known to have lived is 119 years, this being exceptionally old, and considerably weaker.

Though they have most of their strength up until around the age of 85, then age takes a more noticeable toll on them as they get into their late 80's and 90's of age.

When a Ferfnir exceeds the age of 100 by much, well, they're basically just good for companionship, getting into any fights at such old age would highly likely result in the death of itself.

Appearance: Human Shape:

Brianna-1.jpg

Credit to Tani at FA (Fur Affinity) for this nice image.

Brianna, seeming to always stay in her human shape, makes for an impressive imitation of the shape of a female human. She also has a resemblance to a particular domestic breed of dog; the Husky.

But of course she is covered with fur, the ears coming from the top of her head, and has a snout and a tail, this gives a good balance of a human appearance and a wolf appearance.

As such she can be pleasing to the eyes of either, if the former gets past that she is indeed not human, and doesn't dwell on that fact to the point they get turned off.

Her height is 5'8 and her weight is 148 pounds. She has greenish blue eyes, an average length snout with a gray nose. Her white fur is very soft and pretty fluffy, the white fur on her face and the spot on her forehead are no exceptions.

The majority of her face is white fur, while the rest of her head is of a gray color with a bit of a green tint to it. These two colors; white and the greenish gray are basically what her entire body consists of, except for her paw pads and claws, which are black.

Wolf Shape (though she has pretty much never been in this shape, nor will she be):

BriannaWolf.jpg

In her Wolf Shape, her height is 2'10 and weight is 85 pounds. Oddly enough, the color scheme of her fur in this shape is slightly different; the gray fur with a tint of green to it is now black.

Aside from the difference in fur color and different shape and size, not any real note worthy changes.

Armour/Equipment: Her figure demands that she wear some clothing, at the very least over her breasts and...in between her legs, but she does just that; wears the bare minimum she must.

She wears a white bra in the middle of which has a ring with a strap through it, leading up through a second ring up just below her neck, at which point it branches off to a strap going over each of her shoulders, and down her back to where straps leading from the sides of the bra connect.

Also wears a white pair of women's underwear (what one may refer to as panties), that only covers quite low, covering a minimal amount of her. It also has a ring in the middle of it right at the top, that look the same as the ones the bra has.

Personality: Brianna can be rather flirty, and quite a tease, but she never means any harm by it. She is not always just teasing either, and can be quite obliging when in the mood for it.

She has an Australian accent which is quite unusual for a Ferfnir, overall she is an interesting individual, and she can give the most intriguing look when she gives a smile and a certain glance with her eyes. Her eyes may also show anger from time to time, if irritated a great deal.

Quite cunning, and pretty optimistic, and certainly not anti-social. She likes excitement, fun, and action. While she does stay active and is quite energetic, it is not at all in a happy-go-lucky kind of way, but energy in moderation, wisely conserved as life is unpredictable.

When she is having a bit more of an...intimate moment with someone, she has a nasty habit of blindfolding them from time to time, to keep them from seeing anything that's going on, though she usually will let them know just before she actually starts doing this.

At this point, she may choose to have them either continue to grow more anxious/nervous for some undetermined length of time, or be nice and have a little bit of, how you say, surprise sex with them.

Not often is this more than just little hints such as a little lick, or two, of their face, or gently brushing the back of her paw (the entirely fur covered side) along the side of their head, or if exposed, sometimes the chest.

Whenever there is someone she is to be sent in to go about torturing, she also likes to have the person blindfolded, so they won't see what the interrogator looks like, it's up to them to conjure whatever image in their head.

Beyond that, just be hopeful they be wise and give answers, as Brianna is intolerant of uncooperative, stubborn criminals, and will get quite angry after enough time, and she can be very scary when she is angry.

When bored, she may seek out the company of another to hang out with, preferably of male gender, as she generally gets along much better with those of the opposite gender from herself, but generally gets along alright with others of her own gender, just can't flirt with them, as she quite likes to do.

If accompanied by others and Brianna becomes bored, she may strike up a conversation with one of the males in the group, some times learning things about them, whether it be something she likes or dislikes it.

Her opinion on killing another is that if the other is armed and hostile, the causing of that death is justified, but if against someone unarmed and harmless, it is unjustifiable, and completely irrational.

First Impression: Even at just a glance, one can tell she has a fine figure that is quite pleasing to most any eyes of those that can get past the fact that she is covered in fur, if they don't even actually like it.

She physically looks nice, and though she can be nice at times, one should be mindful that she does like to tease, and sometimes she is just plain harsh, but far from always, she wouldn't wish any good people ill will.

Abilities: Nothing special, just response/counter attacks for certain positions or situations during battle.

Other Skills: Though previously suggested, but to sum these up into fewer words: Kicking ass, and being worthy of often getting "two minutes for looking so good", to quote off of something of the brain draining invention that is Television.

Background Story: Brianna speaks little of her past, not being a matter of it being too good or too unpleasant of a past, but mostly because she deems being asked about her past to be a rather personal question, and only gets into details with someone she is quite comfortable around.

Though her parents do both live, she had departed to places far off from them since quite some time ago, not to have been back in touch with either of them throughout time since.

She has intelligence, skill, and her very appearance that go a long way in accomplishing tasks and goals she sets out to achieve, making some friends along the way, and teasing plenty, some friends, and some simply admirers she passes by.

Both of her parents have about the same colours of fur and not drastically different areas on their fur coats where those colours would be apparent. But having moved on from this, Brianna continues to make friends and achieve more of her set goals...

Koloth has been here, he just saw my character. :wacky: I wonder what he thinks of her... :giggle:

And yes, I'm sure she will pleasure Damon's eyes, if the female has got maracas, he'll be dying to bang it. I hope this kind of language isn't off limits, if so I apologize, but that is about how Damon is gonna be I imagine, from the sounds of it. >.>

And okay, though not to use in this RP, I will make a point of sometime probably this year (xD) making a different kind of character altogether, as in not a very Wolf-like one. ^^;

Crimson Wolf will always be my main character though, he is my fursona. :mokken:

I need to work on the starting scenarios:

1) Charcoal Forest:

A forest once known for its abundant life now lies dilapidated by the dark influences. The once glorious and blooming trees lie now twisted into nightmarish shapes, almost humanoid. The flowers wittered and died and are now replaced by what looks like black roses with thorn vines that secrete a deadly venom. One drop could paralyze you in a matter of hours, and kill you in a day or two, though there have been people who just dropped dead after being exposed to the venom in mere minutes.

There's also a dense fog that, along with the abundant trees with their branches coiling around each other, makes its difficult for sunlight to penetrate inside the forest.

Sadly, the toxins of these flowers as well as the rough terrain is not the only concerning thing. The forest is inhabited with various beasts: mutated wolves, bears, and even lost travelers succumbed to the dark influences of these woods. There are reports of "humanoid" beings with claws as sharp and strong as blades, blood covering all their skin and on some occasions we can see what's left of their clothes they worn when they were still human.

2) Town: A town nearby Charcoal Forest. The buildings are mostly made out of wood and rocks from the nearby area, with a very simple yet efficient architecture. The roofs of the houses are built tall and triangular shaped. In the town we have an Inn, a General Store were you can stock on supplies, several houses were families from 3 to 4 and even 6 members per house, and a mansion where the Mayor lives.

EDIT: The town is now named "Willowbark" courtesy of Crimson Wolf.

Well, that is sounding pretty good to me, I can tell your creative mind is in good working order, as always, Julius. :dave:

But "Town"? You gonna come up with some extension to that name to make it more identifiable, I trust? >.> "Town is just ahead..." :P

So, how many more members are you looking for, anyways? What is your goal for total number of signed up RPers to participate in this?

Name- Zynthreo

Title- Lone Wolf

Alignment- Chaotic Good

Gender- Male

Age- 38

Race-
Ferfnir.

Appearance-
Humanoid:
In his humanoid look he can stand on two legs. His ears are both red, but the rest of his fur is black. His hands are red as well and the color reaches back to his elbows and ankle. He stands at 5' 10" and weighs just about 173 pounds. His hair is very soft and just about average in length Under his fur there is a sensible amount of body fat, however it is not noticeable through all the fur and muscle. Most of his muscle is very toned, so with his fur covering him it is hard to see his muscle structure. the end of his tail has red on it and there are two designs in red on his neck and tail. His eyes are also red. There is a crescent shaped red mark on his head.

In this form, he is capable of wielding some weaponry, but not all of it. Things like swords and such, anything of the type, but nothing mechanical.

He wears a necklace that has an eagle talon on it at all times. On both sides of the eagle talon are red beads. He wears no shirt and no clothing at all on his upper body. His lower body is covered by a very loose fitting pear of black jeans with red stitching. Here are various chrome chains on both pant legs and chrome rings. Link. A black leather belt with a buckle showing a wolf howl at the moon holds his pants up

He does not wear shoes and he will not. It is highly uncomfortable. He also will never wear any armors, it doesn't suit his style.

Wolf:
The same patterns in his humanoid form are carried onto his wolf form. His fur however is slightly varied. He almost seems to have a mane of longer fur around his neck and carried to right between his front legs, but that is where it fades off. He no longer wears any clothes in this form.

Again, his ears and eyes are both red with a red crescent shape on his head. An odd design making an X with a line through it is still seen at his neck, but now it is larger in proportion to his body. Same designs and patters of read are on his feet and tail.

However, now he has taken on the size of the average wolf, standing at 3'2" and weighing in at 96 pounds.
1204765527_adowsDemon.jpg

Personality- He will never begin a conversation, but he also will never back out of one. This can give the impression that he is anti-social, but in reality he's just rather shy. He's not too quick to open up his emotions to anyone, in fact, he tries to hide them because he doesn't want to seem "soft".

Although he does not have a particularly bad temper, certain things can get on his nerves to a point that he will do harm. These things include approaching him with insult, seeing someone making fun of the weaker, hunting jokes, and humor about animal cruelty. Once he is angered it is difficult for him to calm down. He usually won't calm down until he hurts either a person or hits something, but it also is not easy for him to get angered to that point.

He has a strong sense of justice, defending the victims of those that have done wrong, and punishing those that do the wrong. Despite his sense of justice, when he feels he is doing something that is for the greater good, he will not hesitate to harm and possibly kill anyone that gets in his way, depending on the person. If the one in his way is simply a mercenary, he will not kill them, as they are just doing as they were hired, but if it is someone doing this of free will he will harm them as necessary. Death is usually only inflicted on those that do wrong to others as well as him.

His friends are held dear to him, and they become first priority for him. He will risk his life to ensure the safety of those he deems as friends. However, earning his trust and his friendship are difficult to achieve. He must know the person well before calling them a friend.

First Impression- He seems like a dark presence at first, with his dark fur and red eyes, some may even call him frightening. Due to his wolf-like appearance some people would either be attracted to him in curiosity or scared away by fear. However his eyes do have a slight look of innocence to them.

Strength- By mouth he can't carry any really heavy object at all, but with his hands he could carry at most 135 pounds for about 5 minutes before needing to set the object down and rest his arms and legs from the strain.

In combat, a punch would do about 150/600 to a foe, and a slash with his claws would do just about 175/600

Vitality- Better at enduring physical attacks than magical attacks, he is pretty toughened up for a fight. An average fighter with average strength attacking him would deal just about 120/600 damage to him. This will depend on where the blow is hit and how solid the hit was. If it were to hit his head it might do a little more damage than that, but he could still be capable of fighting and holding his own.

A magic attack will be worse for him to endure, but he will not die from an average spell. His endurance to magic put on a 100 point scale is just about a 25, so one average spell would do just about 172-200/600 damage to him. This once again varies by the blow itself along with the magic type and the spell itself.

Speed- He is faster in his wolf form than his humanoid form. In his wolf form he can run just about 96 KPH, but this will restrict his turning abilities and a turn may result in his momentum sliding him into a wall or some other object.

In his humanoid form his maximum speed that can only be reached on all four legs is at about 86 KPH.

Stamina- In a normal battle he could last at maximum 17 minutes, assuming he had done some recent activity to already increase his heart rate. At an all out sprint in his wolf form he can last just about 73 minutes, as he is a wolf. However running in his humanoid form would last nearly 57 minutes, since his added body weight would slow him down.

Reflexes- During combat, he becomes highly alert of his surroundings and makes sure he knows exactly how many people, friend or foe, are near him. He looks at a certain point that makes them easy to identify by a glance so that he knows if someone that is his enemy is coming for him and if it is a friend. This way, he will not attack allies.

Dodging a projectile attack like an arrow shot from the classic bow would be easy to dodge. When dodging melee attacks he needs a good opening, because he is not the master of avoiding hits, but he can manage just fine, only getting a few small scratches. Often times only his fur gets cut. A quick jolt backwards is easy for him to use, but he knows the risks of it, so he doesn't particularly use this.

Usually his uses his reaction timing to overpower his foes with a stronger attack in hopes to knock their attack back and avoid hitting him, but he won't try this with someone that has a blade.

Weapons- His own claws

Abilities-
Natures Predator: Using this ability starts with him letting out a loud howl to the sky. It allows him to increase his attack speed. Although his running speed is still the same, he can now move his arms at a faster rate, allowing him to thrash about at intense speeds and not stop. This lasts just about 45 seconds before wearing off. Once it does wear off he will then feel the fatigue as if he were to attack like that without being in this state.

Magic- Incapable of using magic.

Other skills- Speaking the human language after extensive learning and studying. His english is very fluid.

History- He was the only surviving cub of his parents. He did have an older brother whom vanished one day upon going hunting. It was assumed that the human hunters got a hold of him. He also had a younger sister that was 4 years younger than him, but she died of natural causes shortly after her birth. In those days, Zynthreo had to take care of his parents. they wanted another child, and Zynthreo wanted to have a younger sibling, but it was hard for the couple to have another after the death of their daughter. He would support them by hunting for food and other such things.

In his little Ferfnir village was another ferfnir by the name of Xenith. Xenith was two years older than Zynthreo, and Zynthreo was also one of his common targets. Xenith tormented Zynthreo and others by doing things such as pulling there tails, and with Zynthreo being 2 years younger, there was nothing he could do about it. However, once Zynthreo turned 20 years of age, he left the area.

His parents were influencing him to go out to find other places to see, but for a while he did not want because he didn't want to leave his parents side. But eventually they convinced him. And so he left the area in hopes to see the world.

For the next 5 years he would see a lot of the world. Hiding in his wolf form he would walk around human villages, studying their way of life. He had often seen people beaten and/or mistreated, simply because they were weaker and easy targets.

One day he saw a bunch of kids surrounding two other kids outside of a village. Being infuriated by this site, he growled at these kids while still in in his wolf form. They all just laughed at him, and one picked up a stick and approached him. He knew what this meant, he was going to be attacked, and so he changed into his humanoid form right in front of all of them. He began to maul the kid with the stick, but not kill him. In fact, he purposely didn't even go deeper in cuts and scratches than the skin.

However, over the years of seeing this happen, he began to become less tolerable and a bit more violent. If he were to have seen the same situation as before he probably would have seriously injured the boy instead of simply scratching and scaring. He still maintained his sense of right and wrong regardless of what he saw, and now whenever he sees events of someone doing wrong, he will always interfere unless pre-occupied by something more important.

Excellent to see your character's bio up here, Squee, this is closer to being ready to start now that one of the RPers has the bio(s) of the character(s) he wishes to use posted up. :D

Still waiting for you to make your first post for this character in the Animal Kingdom RP Thread, haven't seen you use this character yet, and know for a fact you haven't, as I've monitored the Ferfnir character like a hawk, anticipating that first post for me to start gauging even more accurately the character's coolness. :8F:

You're stuck on "Brianna", aren't you? :smartass: You just used some of the letters from her name, and mixed 'em around. :lew:

Ah, good times. xD I may have came up with the name Zynthreo as one of my...I think it was five name suggestions I thought up, but in general I am not good with names, I was just determined then...

But I should be now, too. :hmmm: Edit: After some discussion of the Town name with Julius over MSN, as he edited into the post describing it and the Charcoal Forest, it is settled to be Willowbark Town.

While the idea of the "bark" is that it is like tree bark, but it is also the most commonly heard noise to come from your average canine. xD So I can appreciate that too, and it is somewhat appropriate since apparently Charcoal Forest does have "mutated wolves".

Just to clarify, Crimson Wolf is not a mutated wolf, it isn't talking about the Ferfnir species, but I think rather more mindless of beasts, that have been effected most negatively by the environment around them...

So when we starting this shizzle, Julie? :monster:

We need some human wimminz for me to creep out :sad3:

Also, one has come up with another character who can annoy the Ferfnir characters :monster: a hunter type with a rifle with blade attachment on the bottom :mokken:

Now to be arsed to write him up :hmmm:

Tomorrow? Awesome. :awesome: So, you've got set in mind how to start this out? Have you anything for me to keep in mind as I make my first post in the RP (once it is posted)? Don't want to bypass any necessary details. :P

And sorry I wasn't online yesterday, I was playing Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days an inordinate amount, training the moves of my thieves, especially Consciousness (it steals their consciousness, causing target to fall asleep), disabling the enemy is exceedingly useful, it also makes it more vulnerable to an attack landed on it (but wakes it up).

I have her SP up well over 1000 now, but thing is, I was training Consciousness on my own monsters, at Cave of Ordeals, Ordeal 1, with just one of the Archers left standing, and out of her range, but none of these characters ever move, they stay on their different colored tiles, even if it no longer has the Geo Panel effects. xD

Consciousness doesn't deal any damage, it is just a pretty sure-fire way to put the target to sleep for two or three turns (if it isn't a Holy Dragon, it tends to pretty much always be three turns), so I can just use it several dozen times and get it some level ups to make it even more reliable. :monster:

Hehe..he...he...... A little off topic there, sorry about that guys. But yeah, I'm really looking forward to the beginning of the RP. :D

Ok, sorry I couldn't bring it up today. Got caught in the daily activities like...going to the bank. Oh the eternal wait... >.<

I might start the first post of the RP not as my character but as the antagonist. :awesome:

This time you make no promises for today for it to be posted up, just in case? Not that you quite promised before anyways, you even used the word "maybe", I shouldn't have been surprised it wasn't that urgent to post, or you perhaps could have started that up last night when you got online and made this latest post of yours in this thread at 11:08 PM (in my time zone, anyways). :P

Well, I'll certainly be anticipating whenever it is started up. ^_^ I think I asked before, but anything I should know to keep in mind when I make my first post in the RP? Anything I should fit into my beginning post in particular that isn't already completely obvious? xD

Ah Julius, you gotta do some Role Play Push-ups to get back in shape. :wacky: But awesome, I think I might go check it out now... Who am I kidding, definitely right now! XD *rushes off to read in The Unwritten Legend RP thread*

Edit: *facepalms* That thread is where multiple RPers (Role Players, assuming roles in an interactive, ongoing story) participate in Role Playing, Leviathan, it isn't Writer's Boulevard... ^^; I am glad you enjoy reading it though. :P

Hey, it's just a little oversight, no harm done right guys? :) Especially if the thread gets the clean slate back again for the RPers to begin this adventure, if you will. :lew: But regardless, don't sweat it.
