In this thread, post about random things you've noticed about FF characters. Little things. Or post your favourite facts that everyone already knows (ie: Yuna having one blue eye and one green eye)

Here's one I noticed:
Fran shakes her head a lot. She does it at random times. Maybe because her hair gets in the way of her face or something. I like it.
I also enjoy that Wakka shares the same voice actor with Bender from Futurama.

now you

I'm probably the only one that noticed the overabundance of shawarma stands in Lowtown. Then again, it's an Arab thing.

I like how they had Basch all skinny and bearded when you meet him in the dungeon. First time for FF to do something like that, I thought it was pretty neat.

I like the little finger wave that Edgar does in VI. With the size of the sprites in the game, it's often a bit hard to tell exactly what they're supposed to be doing, but I've always thought this was a cute one, and gives him a little extra personality.

How about Kefka's little laugh in VI. Technically making him the first FF character with a voice. At least, I think. :hmmm:

Also, did anyone else think it was odd and pointless that when you learn an Enemy Skill in VII, that your character spins in a circle? It's kinda dumb. Apparently, the only way to master Enemy Skills is rotate 360 degrees at the exact moment you are hit by the attack. WTF?

^^ Yea, I was always slightly irritated by that stupid little animation. As if a message on screen, and then the ability appearing in the menu on that characters next turn wasn't enough reminder that you learned the ability.

When I play VI (never beat btw, I know...) and I get to Lockes' town, I always enjoy the secret path built into the bushes/under the houses. Not enough of the secret pathways or items hidden in clocks and dressers anymore.

Like Tifa, I laugh my butt off every time Cloud does that pose and brushes his hair. I can't help it. I simply cannot take him seriously. "Hahaha, you poser!" :wacky:

In 12, I like all of Balthier's limitbreak lines. He doesn't do very much -- he just waves his hands, smirks, and the monster is totally screwed. More of them should be like that!

Also in 12, I love how the summons appear and follow you around. The massive circle thingy is pretty bitchin'.

Where are the toliets in FF? You never hear cloud say... " oh one sec i gotta take a leak" or Ashe nip of to the ladies before a massive mission and i cant find any in the local towns.

I'm pretty sure in FFXIII they just held it in the entire journey....... whats the deal? xx

And, I know for a fact that VII HAD bathrooms (may have been the only game to have them...). In fact, when you infiltrated the Shinra building the first time, you climbed up on the toilet to spy on the meeting. In Wall Market, there was a lady puking in the bathroom. And lastly, in Costa del Sol, Barret was in the bathroom posing in the mirror with the sailor outfit on.

To go along with the bathroom one, when or how do they get/stay clean? You never see them jump into rivers or anything. Tidus and Wakka are arguably the cleanest of them all, seeing as they play a water sport.

The thing I love most is how Gilgamesh is the SAME Gilgamesh in each appearance.

As someone once said on another forum, No one wants to see their favorite characters squidding over the loo.

I think that sums it up quite nicely.

And in 7, if you buy the villa at Costa Del Sol and sleep in it, you hear splashing sounds and in the morning Cloud is standing in the bathroom in front of the mirror touching up his hair.

hil-arious!

the way the girls look from behind in FFXII

the way the shopkeeper's daughter flirts with me in FFIX "You can't come inside!"
