Too easy?

I felt this way, but now have hit Chapter 11 and feel like the game has just sand bagged me. xD

Suddenly grinding becomes a need, due to the Crystarium suddenly deciding it wants a fuck load more CP to just advance once. Enemies have suddenly become harder.

Managable at the moment for me, but can tell I'm going to have to grind a lot. Especially because I've decided I want to platinum this game, so need all the CP I can get for the role trophies and such like.

I also was a bit silly to begin with, sold all my spoils up until you can upgrade weapons, so then had to earn more just to upgrade slightly. Ah well, all in good fun.

You'll start hitting the challenge in Chapter 11 when the exploration starts to open up. It's fairly balanced between chapters 1-10 but come 11 you're going to be facing enemies that could easily wipe you out in 1 or 2 hits. There's not much I can say really, but it does definitely get harder, which is where you'll start having to grind through some CP farming. :hmmm:

Completely off topic, apologies, but your sigs are fucking beautiful.

Ok, I think I figured it out. I did not need to grind at all to beat the game (not do the mission marks which I didn't even bother with until after I finished the story). That may be because all throughout the chapters, I fought every single enemy my party encountered (excluding the achlyte steppe of course) so I got CP little by little just by playing through the chapters and never needed to grind.

So just out of curiosity, for those who needed to grind just to finish the main story, did you skip a lot of battles in the earlier chapters or did you fight every single enemy like it did?

I don't think final fantasyXIII is as easy you say but for me started turning hard on chapter 10 so most likely you just didn't get to the hard part yet are your just very good. i'm on chapter 11,or 12 and i'm battling a super strong boss maybe after you pass chapter 10 it might not be as easy as it was before you'll probally manage.hmmm

No i finished the game. A couple bosses gave me a decent challenge. But the rest of the game was a cakewalk, and the final boss was a joke. I could be good but I've never seen anyone else play. I'm sure I'm just about the same league as everyone else though.

Well I've died about two dozen times trying to get past those two monsters on Level 6. My first FF since half playing VII. It's not something I'm really enjoying either. Am I doing something wrong dying so much and getting 3 stars at best?

The trouble with dying a lot is that boredom sets in and then the customer looks to another product.
