I was sorta inspired by the Top 10 favorite songs thread.

I'd like to know what your Top 10 Favourite Music Videos are at the moment including music videos made by fans if you like as well.

It shouldn't be your favourite song. Your favourite song could have the worst looking music video ever. It should be a well constructed / easy on the eyes music video. You may not necessarily like the song but it's the video that counts here.

Mine are as follows:

Click on them to see the awesome videos >_<

01. Lady GaGa - Poker Face
02. Rihanna - Disturbia
03. Fergie - Fergilicious
04. Katy Perry - Hot N' Cold
05. Bloodhound Gang - The Inevitable Return Of The Great White Dope
06. Britney Spears - Toxic
07. The Veronicas - Untouched
08. Gwen Stefani - What You Waiting For?
09. Timbaland - The Way I Are
10. FinalFantasyFan300 - Pretty Rave Girl (fan video)

You don't have to include links to your favourite videos but it would be nice. =D

Note: If this thread is meant to be in Miscellaneous please move it >_<

Mine are:
(Note: I don't have those fancy YouTube links.. How do you do them?)

1. Click on the 'Insert Link' Icon at the top of your posting box. It has a picture of the World on it.
2. Then type the name of the link you'd like, in the box that pops up e.g. From Yesterday - 30 Seconds To Mars
3. Then paste the web link in the next box that pops up and click 'ok'
4. Then you have a fancy link >_<

Result: From Yesterday - 30 Seconds To Mars

----

If your computer doesn't let you do the first option correctly (like mine) do this one:

1. Simply type in the name of the song, like you've already done in your posting box. e.g. From Yesterday - 30 Seconds To Mars
2. Then copy the web link from the video on youtube
3. Highlight the name of the music video in your post e.g: From Yesterday - 30 Seconds To Mars
4. Then click on the 'Insert Link' Icon at the top of your posting box. It has a picture of the World on it.
5. Then paste the link in the box that pops up and click 'ok'
6. Then you have a fancy link >_<

Result: From Yesterday - 30 Seconds To Mars

Hope that helped =D

In absolutely no order:
Invincible - Muse
Can't Stop - Red Hot Chili Peppers
Hoppipolla - Sigur Ros
Empire - Kasabian
Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden
It's A Hit - We Are Scientists
Coffee & TV - Blur
Here It Goes Again - OK Go
Knights of Cydonia - Muse
All Around the World - Oasis

I'm not really too sure what I think of It's A Hit really, the thing that attracts me so much to it is because it just looks like a simple student music video, and I'm sure I could make something better than that myself. :wacky:

I'm not saying this list is definitive, and not really all my favourite videos in the world... But right now these came to mind and are my current liked videos.
  1. Hyperactive! - Thomas Dolby
  2. Jump In My Car - David Hasselhoff - :D
  3. Marilyn, my Bitterness v2.0 - The Cruxshadows ***
  4. Knights Of Cydonia - Muse
  5. Shock The Monkey - Peter Gabriel
  6. Dominion - Sisters Of Mercy
  7. Dead Man's Party - Oingo Boingo
Notes:
1. A video I've been watching a lot lately. I really love how CRAZY it is.

2. Hasselhoff rocks, this vid rocks. Nuff said.

3. This isn't an official video as far as I know... I think it is fan made and it basically has stop motion lego and even gets the hair of Rogue, the lead singer right. A brilliant piece of stop animation!

4. I think everyone knows why Knights of Cydonia's video rocks.

5. A brilliant video... But sadly youtube Nazi's have taken it down. There will be no shocking the monkey today folks :sad2:.

6. Dominion is a fantastic song and I really like the location and pace of this video. Great stuff.

7. Youtube Nazi's seem to delete Dead Man's Party but leave other Oingo Boingo songs in tact. So this guy had the wits to put another Oingo Boingo song before it, so basically 4 mins in Dead Man's Party starts. A fantastic video again, as with many Oingo Boingo videos. Danny Elfman is crazy!

I'd probably choose a different 10 vids tommorow, but ah well, it's an indication!

10- Decode Paramore-Not much of a Twilight Fan, but it's really upbeat.

9-Leave out all the rest- Linkin Park - Just really simple, and calm.

8- Katty Perry- Hot and Cold- The cool dancing, and the whole storyline of the video. And the Male in the bridal costume ! <* laughs *>

7- Kayne West- Heart breaker- Just liked how the drawing animation looked so real, even though it was just animation drawings.

6-Everything I hate about you Three Days Grace- Can't remember the video much, but remember really liking it. Realistic yet angsty.

5- Outcast- Hey Ya- Lol the same guy pretending to be different people who are apart of the boyband ? Clever, weird yet funny.

3- Godamn Arms Race- Fall Out Boy- Just liked how they had a sense of humor, and the grave- choir bit in the middle was cool.

2-Christina ( Doesn't know how to spell her last name ] Fighter- It was nice to know that you can be strong and powerful and stand up for yourself n-n

1 Mr Brightside - The Killers- Like the weird style in the dancers, and guess the whole video and the dancing fits the video really well.

Okay, but no links at the moment, because Youtube is blocked. Oh, and you should all know who they're going to be. Well, most of them.

10. Drowned World/Substitute for Love -Madonna
9. Wake Up- Hilary Duff
8. Power of Goodbye- Madonna
7. Music -Madonna
6. Die Another Day -Madonna
5. Fighter- Christina Augerlia
4. Better Get to Livin-Dolly Parton
3. Reach Out - Hilary Duff
2. Human Nature -Madonna
1. Unpretty - TLC
0. Express Yourself- Madonna

Sorry there are eleven, but I couldn't leave one of them out. They're all so good.

Here are my top ten favourite music videos at the moment.

1. The Saturdays - Ego

The concept of superheroes is an excellent idea and goes well with this song. I love the backstory to it and the result in the end.

2. Lady GaGa - Bad Romance

The video to this is absolutely GENIUS and I now wonder how much it cost to even make it. My favourite part would have to be where the diamonds are on slow motion.

3. Chris Brown Feat. Lil' Wayne & Swiss Beatz

The special effects are quite incredible in my honest opinion. It makes me really wonder how the heck they do it in the first place and the dancing is amazing.

4. Leona Lewis - Happy

The concept for the video is fantastic and love how it's been made into a mini-movie. I obviously wanted Leona to have a happy ending, but it just makes me happy to see she's ok with everything, anyway.

5. Rihanna - Russian Roulette

Wow, and I thought Disturbia was insane. It appears I was wrong, considering this is the darkest video she's ever made. It goes with the mood of the song and the shots of her terrified face makes me terrified myself.

6. Green Day - 21 Guns

Love the fact it's all anti-war and the video is a magnificent display to look upon. It's different from the other videos that they've done and I love it!

7. Agnes - I Need You Now

The fact it's in a desert and some Native American (or Indian, I couldn't decide what he was!) searching for her is quite remarkable. I'd love to know where she got her card, though.

8. Cheryl Cole Feat. will.i.am - 3 Words

Many will probably credit her for the video more than the song and I can see why. It's quite strange in itself with the split screen, but it works effectively and makes you really think why the heck they've done it like that.

9. Beyonce Feat. Lady GaGa - Video Phone

It's another strange video, but the combination of the two works very well. The best bit is obviously the dance with the chairs in the middle where their dancing is on par.

10. Lady GaGa - LoveGame

It's a bit old by now, yes, but I'm still impressed with the way it's directed, the quick scene shifts and so on. The dancing at the end is particularly impressive.
