so when i finished the game i realised that the trials were horrificly boring and annoying
what do you think about them

They were a nice change. I like puzzles in games, and for this game, they worked pretty well. The only one that annoyed me was Bevelle, mainly because of the design, WAY too colourful for my liking.

Plus, a "dungeon" without battles let us focus on the puzzles, rathar than who strong the characters were, which was good.

I didn't mind them, it was such a nice change not having to worry about random battles, although the one were you get Ixion did my head in, I think it qwas that one anyway, I can never seem to get the spheres in the right place to unlock that door.....

Anyway, aside from one or 2 annoying moments, oh Bevelle was annoying aswel.....but other than that, i thought they were a pretty nifty idea

I hated them all of them, Shiva's was one of my most hated as was Bahamut's but i must admit i did enjoy two of them (Anima and Magus sisters) because one was collecting items and the other was beating Belgamine into the ground. and the rest were just annoying as hell and i didn't enjoy them one bit.

They were alright, although it wasn't like I was really looking forward to doing them. For awhile they did lose their appeal to me, and I just couldn't wait to get the hell outta there. But it's really not a major problem overall. The puzzles were kinda fun at least. I have to agree though - Bevelle was quite annoying.

Exactly, I don't see anything to complain about, in most Final Fantasies there is always some annoying puzzles where we have to focus on our current task and enemies keep showing up over and over.

Personally I don't disliked it at all, I like challenges, altought those were rather easy I spend a good time figuring how to get all the Destruction Spheres. ;)

To be quite honest I wouldn't have mind if they have added some more trials, as long as in the end the reward were an Aeon.

I never use them till I complete the game at least 3 times. Using guides depends on fan level. You just use it if you want it. Nobody forces you

I loved the trials! They were really unique, and not to mention fun. They weren't really hard to figure out, though. D=

They were a nice change, you actually had to work for the Aeon, even if the puzzles were particularly easy, Shiva's was annoying though, You beat Seymour, always thought that would be enough

i enjoyed the trials. it really made you think cerebrially. it was a major plus for the game in all honesty. It made you work for the thing that you needed to advance the game.

Much better than the whole, "Crap. I'm too weak." then you go up 10 levels and the game is incrediably easy.

adding puzzles like the trials was brilliant.

I didn't mind them as long as they were nice and short and not to much of a hassle. But when it came to Bevelle and to a certain extent Macalania, I found it tiresome. I bought FFX to play an RPG game not to be stuck in a hole wputting a bunch of spheres into different holes until I could leave.
Wasn't exactly my idea of fun.

The trails were okay to do but they were quite annoying most of the time with pushing the sphere pedestal around. I wouldn't want to do them again even if I ever played my Final Fantasy X game again.

I found it fun actually, real creative. But it really annoyed the hell out of me for instance, I didn't know that I had missed the Besaid treasure, so I was pissed at Baaj Temple when I attemped to get Anima. In the end, I had to give 100,000 gil to Yojimbo to finally Zanmato Dark Valefor (PAL version, I curse you)

The trials were something different. I liked the thought of something un-original. =).

Although some of them did my head in...*coughBahamutcough* but, all in all they were a good brain challenge that was a good attention grabber.

With the exception of Ixion's and Shiva's, i thought they were pretty fun. Looking back, im glad there were no random encounters. If there had been, my characters would have gotten to a HUGE level as i would wonder around aimlessly in some of them, and i would have blown through the rest of the game.

I like them all apart from Shivas the first time i did it it took me ages but next time i flew through it, but yeah i thought they were good fun time filling events.

Plus you knew if you gotten through them there was an aeon awaiting you.

For the most part,
they were easy,
the only temples I had a hard time with was Bevelle and Macalania
I honestly thought Macalania would be easy because they had it done already
but that wasn't the case at all
if its nice and short
then it doesn't really bother me.

I didnt mind them early on in the game they were cool little challenges that freshened up the gameplay. Then later on in the game they started repeating themselves and taking up too much time.

I hated the trials. First time round they wernt so bad but after that it was really boring. I hated Shivas and Bahamuts the most, I remember having to do Shivas twice because i stood on the white glowing thing by mistake, and bahamuts was just weird. I didnt like having to move about on the pedestal things.

What can I say... Some of them were really exciting while others were boring. The Bevelle Trial Puzzle was nice though. Challenging for me with a cool-looking atmosphere. ;))
