Trials, fun or annoying

I didn't mind them at all, I kinda found them fun. The only one which really annoyed me was Bevelles, all those colors eventually got on my nerves.

Macalania was probably my favorite trial. I found it challenging and it kept me interested. Plus I found the design of the Macalania trials more interesting than the other trials.

Ugh, I found the trials quite annoying, especially Macalania's and Bevelle's -__- I had to use a guide on pretty much every trial because without it, I'd just wander around putting the spheres in all the wrong places. It's safe to say I didn't have a lot of fun completing them.

lol Trials were pretty much a weak-ass attempt to inject puzzle solving into the game. Other than the Djose Temple, they were all fairly easy. I thought it was incredibly obvious what they were trying to do and it wasn't highly successful... but I did like them. They presented a cool atmosphere that really represesented each new summon. Not only that, it really made me hyped for the summon I was about to recieve. In that respect, I really liked them.

You know trials can be annoying lots of times but if you do them you get a new summon which is cool. Yeah but they can be really frustrating at times. But I find them easy and its always worth it for the new summon.

Ugh, I find the trials to be immensly annoying, tedious and boring. Especially Bevelle's. They just weren't fun at all. Although the summons were generally worth it.

some of the trials weren't bad the first time through......but there were some of them i had to go through again to get items to get Anima.....THEN I was ticked off X_X so i didnt like them... =/

the stupid bevelle trial is impossible i hav been stuck in it for ages da lst time i plydd ffx woz trying to figure how to beat it nd i still hvnt don it so i gave up cuz its 2 hard but i rlly wonna see wot happens nxt =(

I really enjoyed most of the trials cause even though they were difficult at times, they were each unique to the aeon that you would receive after completing them. I especially liked the one at Macalania, even though that was the one that I messed up on the most XD

ugh the trials were so annoyin specialli if you wanted to get anima so ya had get all the treausre stufff grr stoopit trials beville was the worst :eek:uttahere:

I agree, the trials were annoying as hell. I'd get excited as I got closer to another aeon, and then remember I had to solve some stupid puzzle, like the Macalania one that took me forever, lol. Dampened my spirits...

The stupid Bevelle trial is impossible I have been stuck in it for ages the last time I played FFX was trying to figure how to beat it and I still haven't done it so I gave up because it is too hard but I really want to see what happens next =(

Fixed. :P And yeah, the Bevelle trials drove me nuts, it was so confusing with all the paths... >_<

Took me forever to get through it, but I was glad to see the Aeon you get at the end of it. :D

I find the trials n general to be just annoying, nothing exciting about them imo really...

I got annoyed with them.
I'm really fond of puzzles, in FF games. :gasp:
But it was a good system thing. o.o
Like the spheres, destruction spheres, temples had there own spheres.
But nice reward at the end though, a new Aeon. :D

When i played this game first time, some trials were fun, but now i have finished this game 4 or 5 times, and these are just annoyning to do again and again.

The first few were easy, but Bevelle's was horrifying. It was extremely colourful, I didn't know what does what or what goes where, I got confused every 5 seconds and I kept cursing at the person who designed the bloody thing. I eventually turned to a guide.

It was well worth it for Bahamut though. :P

Edit: Ah, someone mentioned Anima, and I remembered how I actually did all destruction spheres except Macalania's. I thought some of the destruction sphere chests had pretty crap things in it, but I didn't know that it was required to get Anima. In a sense, I was glad I only had to redo Macalania's since it was easy.

More than worth it for bahamut :)

But still they were annoying now i have completed it millions of times

I actually thought they were pretty awesome to go through. Each one was tricky in someway it seemed, and they got more interesting as the Temples progressed. Each one added it's own element (Malcalania - snow; Bevelle - hovering platforms).

Sure it seemed just like busy work at times to get through the Cloister of Trials, but it's fun to see the addition of puzzles and such in Fantasy games where the skills are tested beyond that of just battling, but of using common sense and deciphering.

The trials can be quite frustrating sometimes if you do the wrong things. But there fun if you do the right thing and its better that you even get a summon for doing them. Summons are worth it.
