Several centuries had passed by since Lucien's escape and the liberation of his kind from the slavery of there cruel vampire masters. The hatred between the races grew as an unseen war was waged between the vampire council and there elite guard, the death dealers and Lucien's kind the Lycan's of whom he was part of the creation of many centuries ago....
As the war reached boiling point and threatened to spill out in front of the eyes of humans, an unseen force worked from the shadows tirelessly to mask it from ever doing so, the last thing this war needed was human interference, they would never begin to understand the immortal races and the world would be brought to ruin...
The year is 1996, the world had grown and changed many times as new technologies were discovered and scientific breakthroughs made, plagues and famine had all but ceased to exist in major countries and wars as bloody as those that the immortals had been waging had echoed through the ages. Money, power and fame were the main controlling factors of the new age, as corporations rose and fall, actors and actresses were put on a pedistall as icons and living fast was a often occurance of many of the human race...
In the world of the immortals however, a war was still being fought, lives lost on both sides as the eternal struggle between these races continued on....
To maintain order and keep the vampire council protected, the council had decided to only allow one elder member to rule for each century while the rest sleep in there coffin chambers, protected by there most elite deathdealers, it was Amelias time to rule and she had shown no quarter against the Lycans, making such weaponry as automatic firearms with silver coated bullets the norm in an attempt to overpower there most hated foe, In a few more years time it would be the turn of Marcus, the first time he would see rule after his punishment and incarceration for his compassion to his brother William, Viktor knew full well the day would come when Marcus would be placed upon the throne of the council once more and often feared it, but had little choice but made sure that his deathdealers knew to keep a close eye upon him....
In the realm of the Lycans, Lucien had gone underground as he knew everyday he existed was another day the deathdealers would hunt him, however he had a plan and was using his time underground to begin to map a family tree of the orginal forefather of all vampires and lycans, Alexander Corvenus...believed to have died many centuries ago, Lucien sought an answer to there problems.....a merge between the races....A creature of the night and a beast of the moon, a vampire and a Lycan in one...
It was a cold, bitter winters morning in the mansion of the vampire council, nestled in an old forest that no human has wandered to for over 500 years, the old building stood as a grand testament to the history of the vampire race. The halls were lavishly decorated in gothic art and grand carpetry as the vampires that lived here basked in there luxuries afforded to them by the vampire council, hidden passageways within the mansion lead to multiple different rooms such as armories, prisons, interigation quarters, blood banks, but the most important and well guarded of them all.....The resting chambers of the elders of the council.
Davidus stood silently and watchful upon the doors, ever vigilant as he often did, his duty and role in life was to watch over the elders, most importantly Viktor. Davidus held Viktor in high regard as it was Viktor and his deathdealer knights that freed him from the clutches of the Lycans of Jeresulem many centuries ago...
A female vampire with cropped black hair wearing a skin tight suit approached the door and Davidus.
"Who goes there?, state your business or turn away now!" Davidus mentioned with a husky, commanding tone as he slid his hand onto the grip of one of his blades...
"Selene, how is Viktor doing?" The female vampire replied.
"Ah my appologies Selene, where are my manners.. hes doing the same as yesterday and the day before that, hes like a father to you isnt he?" Davidus replied with a calmer tone, he had fought alongside Selene over the centuries, but was often taken back by Selene's devotion to Viktor, it even surpassed his own.
Selene simply nodded and smiled for a moment and turned back heading out of the darkened hallway, seemingly making her way back to her room, Davidus sighed for a moment before regaining his composure and returning to his duty....guarding the door of the elders.
