Underworld: The War of the Immortals.

Raven allowed her tongue to peek from behind her lips. "You can try it, lapdog." She allowed the icy anger in her to seep into her cold eyes. "But we both know who the true master of our kind is... your lord is nothing compared to him." She smiled then, fangs revealed in all their glory. "And deep down, I think you know that."

A silvery peel of laughter broke from her throat and she clapped her hands together excitedly. "Child of Marcus... I like that. It's very too the point," her tongue clicked against the roof of her mouth, fingers resting lightly on Superbia's butt as she watched him intently. "Do not think you have command over me just yet, puppy. One of these days... You will taste my fist and I... will get to savor the essence in your veins."

She watched another who she didn't really care for leave before sighing. "Well that was no fun," she chided as she walked the path towards the Vampire Council chambers, the place where Marcus was currently sleeping. Of course, Viktor was sleeping too and that was probably where Davidus was now going to be if he had left the armoury. After all, it seemed he did nothing other than guard the place these days.

She laughed inwardly as she came closer to the doors, her eyes alighting on the guards at the door. "Oh dear... that's just typical, neh?"

[It can work fer either Davidus now being there or her noting the two younger guards :gasp:]

Stephen stepped out of his car and strode up to the gates "hey, you there, who are you and what is your business here?" one of the guards asked "I'm here to see the lord of this house, I am a mercenary who is currently looking for work" Stephen announced "I have over 400 Lycan kills in the past 5 years, i think i would be a good purchase for your lord" Stephen announced as he looked at the guard who nodded and opened the Gates. Stephen began the long walk up the path and also took note of the Vampire on the gate making a call to the house, informing them of his arrival.

Stephen strode up towards the main door of the manor house and a lower Vampire opened it, his fangs were on show "so, a human comes to covent house, unarmed, Your brave" Stephen smirked "Silence subordinate or i shall remove your tongue from your head" he announced in an agressive tone before he strode through the doors "Where is the lord of this house?" Stephen anounced as he looked around at all the subordinates "this might not have been a bright idea" he though to himself

Lucis awoke to the sound of voices in the entrance hall beneath where he had been asleep. Lucis being the curious type, redressed himself in his suit and carefully and quietly snuck out of his room and peered over the banister. To Lucis's suprise it was the merc from the previous night. Lucis thought to himself why a mercenary would want to come to a vampire coven house?.
It clicked that he must of somehow found out that this is where Viktor and Marcus where being housed in the hibernative states.

"Shit" Lucis growled as he realized that he would have to somehow find a way to talk to the man who had identified himself a Stephen the night before.
With that Lucis paced down the steps and tapped Stephen on the shoulder and signalled for him to follow him.

stephen noticed the hybrid and shook him off "Listen, subordinate, i am here to speak to your master, either take me to him, or go and bring him here" Stephen announced with agression in his voice "what is the Hybrid doing here" Stephen thought to himself as he waited for the arrival of the current lord of the manor.

"Fine I'll take you to him" Lucis said to Stephen with a hint of annoyance in his voice.
"Follow me" With that Lucis strolled off down a corridor and into a rather ornately decorated room, Lucis stood by the door and waited for Stephen to enter.

The disturbance at the entrance to the mansion averted Raven's attention from the room to which she had been heading. Growling slightly in annoyance, the Deathdealer stalked towards the entrance hall only to see the other male she had seen in the armoury conversing with a stranger. Hearing the word "Master", Raven snorted.

"I have no idea who you are... or what you are doing here," she said acidly as she strode on long legs towards Lucis, leaning casually against the wall and unholstering Superbia and gazing lovingly at the barrel. "But do you really think it wise to simply walk into the mansion of the Deathdealers?" Her eyebrow quirked.

"Let me guess, you plan on introducing him to dear old Viktor?" she directed the question towards Lucis. "You ferget, dear, Old man is sleeping." She gave them both a toothy grin. "You'll be meeting Amelia if you so desire to meet the current master." Slipping Superbia back into its holster she extended a hand carefully. "Raven Luxuria Corvenus. Child of Marcus." Her eyes flashed as though challenging either of them to deny this fact and the one that followed. "Daughter of the true Vampire Lord."

"How can you say that your father is the true vampire lord, we all know that Viktor is." Lucis growled as he turned to face Raven who he had only ever crossed eyes with once and that was in the armory earlier. Lucis turned back to Stephen and gestured for him to enter the room.

Davidus had just arrived and was about to dismiss the two younger deathdealers from guard duty, when he heard talking upstairs..

"Stay on the door, seems my attention is needed elsewhere" he muttered to the younger deathdealers who hestitantly made his way back upstairs

He overheard Raven and Lucis'es argument and began to curse under his breath, "She is getting to be most irritating" he muttered as he made his way back through to the main hall.

Before he had caught sight of Stephen, he yelled at both Raven and Lucis "You two guard duty NOW!..... if your going to stay up prattling alll morning at least make yourselves useful" he stormed back out and headed to his quarters, after making a short pass by the crypt doors to inform the younger deathdealers on guard that a relief is on the way.

Daviduses quarters was quite simple, a bed, an old oaken nightstand and a weapon rack, in his human life he was a man of simplicity and cared little for indulgences, a habit that has stuck with him throughout the centuries as reflected in his decor, he took a small dusty brown book from his bedside nightstand and began to read, hes never been one for sleep and much prefers to pass his spare time reading about the histories of mankind when he gets a spare moment, and now was a good a time as any to brush up on the different kinds of "meals" hes had over the centuries as a vampire...

[ooc] i know you guys are excited but slow it down a little eh?

((Shaun, she'd already walked off >_>))

"How can you call that bastard the true lord is the real question," Raven hissed, locking her eyes firmly upon Lucis, as she reluctantly took up the post Davidus has so desired to give her. Just who the hell he thought he was to tell her what to do was beyond her, but she was not finished with Lucis yet. "Who was the first? Who created Viktor?" Her hand slid beneath the folds of her dress, fingers curling firmly around Invidia. "If it wasn't for my father, you wouldn't even exist as you do." The blade was drawn slowly, deliberately, from the material of her dress. Rarely did Raven bring Invidia out into the light, typically prefering her twin pistols over the steel blade.

"Envy... That is what caused your so called master to take action against his master. The problem with being a Lord is that sooner or later, your closest will try to stab you in the back. Viktor proved this." Her tongue traced the blunt edge of the blade as she surveyed Lucis and the stranger closely. "But a true Lord eventually takes back his rule... bear that in mind, pawn of Viktor."

She flipped the blade over, the name of her blade glinting as she did so. "Are you sure you're ready for the day my father once again takes control? It's coming sooner than you think, dear, delusional child. And that puppy, Davidus, is going down with your pathetic stand-in Lord." She gave him an almost excited smile. "Exciting, neh?"

"Your father never was any good at keeping his little brats under control was he, hmmm?" Lucis growled with a hint of laughter in his voice, as he sat down in one of the chairs the guards sat down in whilst keeping an eye on things, Lucis set about polishing his blade and took no notice of Raven as she played with her blade.

Stephen smiled at the Orders being shouted by one of the vampires. Stephen looked at him and smiled as he walked out of the room. he then looked at the female vampire who had just walked into the room. he strode over to her "well mrs Corvenus, I am stephen Hownam Mercenary of the highest bidder. I spend my days killing for the person who can offer me the highest pay check" Stephen informed Raven "and with 400 Lycan kills over the past 5 years i think it would be a good investment for you to purchase my services" stephen informed her "then again, i would settle for you not eating me in order for you to take my services"

Stephen then extended his hand "or would you rather i work for somebody else and run the risk of me being payed to target your fellow death dealers?"

Mildly sated my Lucis' reaction, Raven turned her eyes on the man who introduced himself as a mercenary for hire. She half smiled. "Some of my kind deserve to be on the recieving end of a bullet," she said simply, eyeing Lucis out of the corner of her eye. "Superbia and Ira prevent me from needing outside help, however," she said calmly, cold eyes dancing almost as the slender blade was resheathed.

She leant back against the wall. "So you came here looking to be hired?" The mere thought amused her. "Do you think were are not capable? We have our name... deathdealers... for a reason. We are not defenseless." Again her eyebrow quirked into a perfect arc. "Or is it because I am a woman?" Woman... an odd word, Raven found, when referring to herself.

"I bear not the physical strength of Pawn and Lapdog, but centuries of life also mean I have been taught by experience." Her fangs bared slightly, she growled. "And you, my father will kill you one of these days. If I don't take pleasure in doing so myself." Her final words were directed towards Lucis.

"Look who's using daddies status to try and scare her own kind into bowing before her" Lucis growled looking straight at Raven, then with a wave of sarcasm he bowed down in front of her laying his blade beside him and started saying "I am not worthy o great one please slay me here and now for me insults." Once Lucis had finished that he got back to his feet with some trouble as he was laughing so much, sat back down and carried on cleaning and polishing his blade.

Davidus was reading a particular passage about gengis khan and his "apparent death" when he was disrupted by more arguing...

"Christ they dont shut up do they?" he muttered to himself as he put his book on the nightstand and left his room marching back to the crypt doors...

He immediatley spotted Steven outside the doors and drew his sword, his eyes falling into an aqua blue as he became enraged at this outsiders presence....right outside the crypt of the elders!

"You there, state your business now or leave" he snarled, before switching his gaze to the still arguing Raven and Lucis "So we just let anyone come walking around here now do we? you should know better Raven, your fathers saftey is at stake her or have you forgotten your duty as a deathdealer?" he was clearly unhappy by the whole situation, but the loud voices brought about another visitor....

Amelia had been stirred from her slumber from the loud voices and she had made her way there with her elite deathdealers, they stood in a circle around Amelia as she frowned at the trio and the outsider... "What the hell is going on here, I demand an explanation...Right now!" the deathdealers had all drawn there pistols as Amelia kept her right arm raised to keep them from firing....for now.

"Sorry miss Amelia, It's all Raven's fault, I am sorry to have awoken you and you have a mercenary here to see you" Lucis said with a gasp as it was the first time in his life that he had seen Amelia during the daylight hours.

The smile on Raven's face could have been mistaken for a pleasant one as Lucis knelt before her. However, that changed in the blink of an eye as he moved.

Superbia left its holster, a slender finger resting upon the trigger as Raven glared down the weapon at the pathetic being before her. "I do not want you cowardly bastards kneeling before me, but you will pay my father the honor he deserves," she growled, eyes dilated as her finger tested the trigger slightly.

Her eyes darted to Amelia as she appeared. Of all the vampires, Amelia was perhaps the only other who could command an ounce of respect from the Corvenus. "Ask this disrespectful bastard." She continued to glare at Lucis, venom in her eyes. "It was he who let this stranger into the mansion," she said simply before she turned her stare to Davidus.

She was growing sick and tired of these bastards making her out to be inferior to them. "As I told you, mercenary, if you wish to speak with the one in command, you would see Amelia. The woman now stood before you is the very same." It was only then that Raven holstered her pistol. "I do not desire to be pampered too because of my lineage, but I refuse to be talked down to by one less pure in blood."

"Miss Amelia can I try and explain myself, it was not I who let the mercenary in but twas the guards on duty at the gates. And I did not start this argument it twas once again Raven with which the blame rests for she said that Viktor isnt the true vampire Lord and yet if Ravens father was the true lord why isnt he next inline to rule, I ask you that Raven" Lucis knelt down before amelia with his head hung in shame at having woken her from her slumber.

She ran as fast as she could, through the woods, the fear pulsating throughout her body. She had become separated from "him", after searching the woods on her own, when she was set upon by a Son of William. Though she had accepted her Lycan heritage for a long time now, and was trained well, she had a tremendous fear of the ravenous feral beasts.

She just need to space herself out a bit more, but this creature seemed glued to her trail. A plan can be formulated she decided, I am a tactician after all - sooner rather then later!

Noticing a rather low lying big tree branch, which seemed to be snapped off and resting on the body, she switched direction suddenly, and clambered up it, and was poised ready to jump - until she noticed the width of the jump - too far even for her.

But...right above her was a thickish branch, just in her reach. The Son of William was catching up now, he had sense her direction change, and was snarling, mouth frothing. As he was bounding ever closer, Ailia bent her knees and jumped, clasping the branch, and hauling herself up, just in time to escape a claw swipe. Clutching the branch, she peered out, and noticed that the Son of William, had skidded off the edge, into the depths below.

And what lay below? A pit of wooden spikes. The Son of William was impaled, and Ailia free.

"Close call. I'm free now, but where am I? I have run too far to figure out where I am now..."

OOC: Hope this is ok >_>

"Shut up there pair of you, inconcievable fools!" Davidus barked before kneeling before Amelia and the deathdealer elite..

"I blame myself my ladyship, it was I who posted them on guard duty of the crypt and accept responsiblity, as a captain of the deathdealer guard I should have known better" Davidus explained before Amelia...

The deathdealer elite lowered there weapons at Amelia's order and looked at them all "Davidus, stand I require you and Raven, and whatever your name is to come with me to the council chambers where we shall discuss this matter further, Lucis you shall remain here with two of my guards" She mentioned as she looked them all over making mention each part as her vampiric eyes met each of theres...

The elite took there poistion on the gate as Davidus rose to his feet and scowled at Raven as he made his way to the council chambers at the head of the procession, Amelia rolled her eyes at him as she waited for the others to make there way to the council chambers.

-ooc your a natural lisa, awesome initial post :)
