Have you even wanted to own a more unusual pet? Not cats, dogs, bunnies, hamsters, fish. But more like pigs, pygmy goats, hedge hogs, skunks?

I've always thought it would be fun to own a hedge hog. I think they are cute especially when they roll up into a ball! I also think it would be fun to own an pygmy goat mainly because I love goats, but I would never have the space or the resources to care for one!

my mate's grandparents used to have a duck, apparently and it was pretty well housetrained too.

i've always wanted a ferret. it's not massively unusual, but i just think they're ace. an albino ferret would make my day.

i really want a skunk. Ive read up on it and they can be de-smelled and be made to be as tame as a cat (not my cat, shes a twat) thought I think its summat id have to think about after Velcro snuffs it

After getting a couple of hens when I sort my garden out

Red pandas. They're so adorable, but then again so are cats. And cats aren't endangered, so I went for the safer choice. Still though:

If I was to daydream I'd love to have a pet Aye-Aye. They're hated by many for looking very freaky, but to me I think they're quite cute looking. A bit like a hairy gremlin. I think it would be cool to have one of those about the place. It's not going to happen though since it is under threat. Sadly they've had a bit of a habit of being regarded as symbols of death and doom.

For other possibilities I wouldn't mind a porcupine. I saw this video a while ago and it made me think of porcupines in a different way.

That said, animals do as a whole have their own characters.

I'd love a pet monkey, but then again I probably would regret it after a week after it ruins the house. A well behaved monkey would be my dream come true. A trained monkey, but one that can still be happy and play but doesn't destroy anything would be fantastic. That's within the realms of fantasy again though.

I owned a Red Wolf once, which are actually Coyotes but we kept her for a long time, 2 years actually. We named her Wile E. even though she was a girl not a male.

I have always wanted an Owl though, but I think you need a special license or something like that.

It's really not very feasible to keep and look after, but I've always imagined having a penguin as a pet - especially a chick as they look absolutely adorable. I know as a kid I was constantly asking about whether we can have penguin chicks as a pet. However with all the fish you would need to give it, as well as a small colony of friends to be with and all that cold salty water, it's not happening anytime soon. :lew:

I'd never really thought about having anything other than a cat until I saw this video:

The white hedgehog in this video has to be absolutely one of the cutest things I have ever seen in my life :x3: Every time I watch it I can't help but make silly googoo noises at the video because of how cute it is XD I would be afraid of trying to take care of it because I'm not sure how, cats are easy and fairly self-sufficient, but I don't know much about hedgehogs and how much care they need :hmmm: But if I ever thought I would be able to do it, then I would be very tempted to own a hedgehog ^-^

I'm not sure if this is an unusual pet, but I had a chinchilla once. It listenened most of the time, and it was actually pretty cute to have

I've always wanted a chinchilla and a Hedgehog, but after going to a wildlife park last weekend, I have now decided I want a pigmy monkey!!!
they're the size of your hand and you can have one if you get a permit :D

I've always wanted to own a baby Hippo. >.<

Obviously when they get bigger it'll be a little harder to keep but I think they're just so cute as babies. <3

A baby polar bear would be so cute as well. <3 Though once again, they'd be too much to handle when they grew up. :sad3:

I'd love to have a red panda as a pet. So..fricken...cute! I love wolves more, but wolves should never be pets. They should remain in the wild, or in a sanctuary if no wild lands in the area exist due to human habitation.

I want to own a fucking snake or a lizard. There's plenty out here in the weird land of Florida. Just step outside and you're damn near guaranteed to see at least 3 lizards, and a snake hiding in the bush to your left. Just grab one from there and then boom! Insta-pet. Sure, you won't have anything special for it, but that's what vets are for. I could take the pet there to make sure it's okay, and we're good to go. Another I'd want is the giant birds around here. Paint one of those things a gold/yellow color and you have yourself a real life Chocobo! It's amazing. I love it. A swan would be nice too. Elegance is key, my dear lovely people of FFF. A monkey would be pretty sick too tbh. XD
