Unusual you

Ok, im only 15, so im not much of a drinker to actually be able to thoroughly test this, but apparently my family has a gene that keeps us from getting fully drunk. Like we can get staggery and stuff, but we always remain in relative control of ourselves. My cousin of the same last name does drink alot and she finds the same holds true for her. Can't wait til im 21 (or at some party with an abundunce of alcohol) to test for myself :)

Yikes. I'm already drinking at the age of 16 :/ but only little amounts. Still, I could have waited 2 more years :p
I'm definitely not a lightweight, but it doesn't run in the family. That's kinda cool.

I'm not sure about exact explanations, but for some reason, I'm born with ears that are not fully grown. So, my ears are not like normal ears, which have the ear hole, or whatever it's called (Which obviously mean I have impaired hearing)

Well, bothered to even mention this here since I found this case rather unique in my region. All the time I've spent on the streets have never brought to me anyone else with the same condition as mine. I did encounter some, but they were milder cases.

I have this weird fear of flushing the toilet. I honestly don't know why. I always flush the toilet after I wash my hands and then I just rush out of the washroom, haha. My family thinks I'm crazy :/

:D I only do that with airplane toilets. Those things are bloody loud :jtc:

Well, my index finger have a extra joint(believe it or not) so it can bend more then three ways.

Oh my gosh I can bend my arm so it looks broken. Like, I don't overdo it, it just bends that way. I can also "over-bend" my fingers. Especially my left ring finger.

Also, I taught myself how to individually move my right pinkietoe x] I used to be able to move my left, but I stopped paying attention to it.

So attractive.

This sounds familiar to me. I think I might have been the same way once upon a time. I think.

I've watched a few episodes of Doctor Oz and learned that the toilet lid is there for a reason. Every time you flush, the water splashes out like crazy. Disgusting. So now every time I flush, I have to close the lid. Otherwise it's just gross to me.

For some reason I really, really like eating powdered foods. I don't know why, the texture is just really appealing to me for some reason :hmmm:

I like eating powdered milk from Chile

I have seasonal eyes, blue in summer, green in winter. But sometimes they just change color for no reason :P

One, my eyes have a red tint to them even though they're brown
Two, I had my first beer at a party we were throwing when I was 4, didn't know what the hell it was though.
Three, also when I was 4, I got into my parents stash of smokes and tried to smoke one, it wouldn't light, so I ate it because I thought people ate cigars and I thought a cigarette would work the same way. Major stomach ache.
Four, when I was in first grade I would write curse words on the black board, because I heard them a lot and thought they were ok to say.
Five, Last year, my teacher gave out awards and I got MVP, he gave me a can of spam.
Six, earlier this year I got called racist by a sub for no reason, I posted it in the weird teachers thread if you want to know more.

That's all for now, be back with more.

I rock when I sleep. For as long as I can remember, I've had this weird, tingly feeling in my spine that bothers me when I'm not moving. When I'm sitting still, I usually have to bounce or kick my leg. Rocking when I sleep helps to calm it. My mom and dad always tell me that I was a very restless sleeper, even when I was really young. I'd kick my legs up on the wall and rub my feet against it.

I can sleep with my eyes open, I do it during Algebra class

1: Despite being hearing impaired, I can fake virtually any accent in the world, except the one that I actually want to fake. I'll never tell either. :p

2: I can memorize any alphabet, and there've been many, within a few hours.

3: I can't get drunk, or high. And my anti-seizure medicine that I started a year ago is the first medication to have any effect on me. Tylenol or aspirin do not help me with head aches or any random pains.

And finally, 4: Apparently, I have extreme crazy things involving my sight. I have almost 180 degree peripheral vision. The last time I measured it, came out to be 177 degrees. And apparently, I have the best hand-eye coordination that people tell me they have ever seen. I actually scared people at my old movie theater job. We'd take the straw off brooms and throw the sticks in the air in the back parking lot. The goal was to see how high you can throw it and still catch it. Mine was the record at an unofficial 30ish feet. (Height based off height of building. Couldn't let stick hit ground, or if you were on a box or stool, couldn't let any part of stick go below feet.)

I'm 16 years old and I have never shaved my legs. Yet they're smooth as a baby's bottom and just as hairless. HA!

..I hate you.

I have a mole on the lower left of my back.

I have a strawberry patch on my head.

I have long, thick bushy hair. Its annoying but I loves it :/

I'm 19, but I'm told, looks wise, I can seem as young as 15-- personality wise I seem a lot older.

My drink of choice is a small glass of straight vodka, or white wine.

I read, on average, 3 novels a week.

I am an atheist, a naturalist (not nudist, naturalism also refers to a philosophical stance).

I'm gay.

I'm Irish.

I'm of average height but look really short compared to others for some reason. ...I hate this. <<

...that'a all I can think of. (Great thread!)

1.I'm part white, part hispanic, and half native american.

2. I used to hate my hispanic roots until I was 16 1/2 yrs old and going to a different school. Most of the students accepted me for who I was, so I came to terms with the fact that I have a deeper heritage than my older half brothers.

3. My old school labeled me "Emotional Disturbance" so they could have more money. It took me until I was 13 yrs old to prove them wrong and to be myself for once! When I finally moved away and transferred to the school I am going to, I finally got out of that false label. It was due to that false label that I got called that "retarded Mexican girl" by the other children at my previous school.

I have insomnia, I can go without sleep for days and not be tired at all. My longest streak without sleep is 7 days without trying. During those days, I actually tried to sleep, I was running out of things to do.

When people claim to know a fact about me that is actually untrue, it angers me intensely. People used to think I was native since my skin is slightly tanned and it would piss me right off, since I'm Chilean.
It can even be what some would consider to be good things: someone thought I was really rich and lived in a huge house and she talked about it with her friends and that struck a nerve.

I hate it. Hate it. When people think they know who I am.

I hate it when people bug me about my race, just because my skin is white doesn't mean I'm 100% white, I'm actually Middle Eastern as well as European and American
