Replaying Mass Effect for the first time in ages. I don't remember the combat being this bad or the mako being this awkward and boring to drive.
But the story and characters are still awesome so they make up for it :inlove:

I currently find myself somewhat engaged in several games at the moment. The fun thing about there not being many current major releases or any interesting looking indie titles coming out right now is that I get to retread over games I either missed or seeing if I can find neat little hidden gems in the bargain bin at my local entertainment stores.

1) Wild Arms - Finally got to play it after several years of wanting to and taking a break from old turn-based RPGs. I'm not that far into it but what I've played has been outstanding.

2) Eternal Ring - A PS2 launch title that I can't recall encountering even one person who's played it except my buddy who's at least heard of it. It's an interesting game to say the least.

3) Way of the Samurai 3 - The open-ended and roguelike design, especially for a console release, makes this game worth checking out.

4) Red Johnson Chronicles - A point-and-click, adventure, mystery, puzzle game. Both fun and annoying.

5) The Secret World - I don't play many MMOs and I can say if it wasn't for the theme's, level design, and setting of this game, I probably wouldn't play this one either.

6) Shadowrun: Dragonfall - I love cyber-punk and I love the idea of a futuristic fantasy setting over a medieval one.

3DS: personaQ, FF theatrythm ~curtain call~
PS2: Castlevania: Curse of Darkness [idk what anyone thinks I liked this castelvania game the most]
PS3: KH2, FFX-2, Tales of Xillia 2 [still waiting for zestiria i'm so excited]
PS4: the Witcher 3, FF Type-0

I am currently playing The Chronicles of Chroisen 2 on my smartphone. I recently downloaded the application a few days ago. It is a fun game to play. It has the classic RPG look like Final Fantasy Tactics. You guys should try it.

FFXIV- ARR: Which will be an ongoing uphill battle
Batman- Arkham Origins: Got the CE on Amazon just for the statue actually; then decided to give the game a go. Found it a bit linear to begin with but as you progress the game gets truly awesome!

Like a few of us on here XIV A Realm Reborn playing catch up from a long hiatus
Grandia- Started playing after picking it up a long time ago and took small hiatus as well, on the second disc and doing something of a grind fest for my magic and abilities cause I just want to get as much as I can.

Star Ocean 2- Great game plain and simple easy enough to revisit. Same as with Tales of Destiny 2(Eternia).

Also Dragon Warrior VII and Final Fantasy VIII the FF that really got me into the series and one of my favorites.

I am playing "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt", "Xenoblade", "Moe Chronicals", and "LoZ: Wind Waker HD".

Right now I am currently playing Kritika: The White Knights on my Android phone. It is the best game I ever played on my mobile phone. The graphics are very good and the gameplay is awesome. It brings alot of excitement. I highly recommend you to try it out.

Played persona 4 golden (PS Vita) again + tired ff agito on iOS but I dumped it because I'm not that good at japanese ;n;

I'm playing too many things. At the moment, Witcher 3 has owned my soul since it's release date. After that is Dragon Age: Inquisition, as well as a replay of FFVIII. I still have yet to finish Persona 4 on the Vita, Persona Q on my 3DS...haven't played much of Story of Seasons on my 3DS, never finished Type-0 HD...too many things.

1) Wild Arms - Finally got to play it after several years of wanting to and taking a break from old turn-based RPGs. I'm not that far into it but what I've played has been outstanding.

I'm gonna quote from quite a while back now ha. I'm glad you enjoyed the start of Wild Arms! Have you finished it yet? Also, at least in my opinion, the first is the best and then 2 and 3 are a bit garbage. I haven't played 4 or 5 to give you a shout about those :s.

As for me, I'm playing:

FF14 - Yep, been playing this mostly lately. Enjoying it, as it helps me sleep at night with the calming music and really nice scenery. Not to mention the repetitiveness of all the quests; those are actually helping me to destress, even if I don't really care about the story.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Rebirth - Ummm...it's pretty funny actually. The references are also fun to look out for. The battle system is a wee bit off though and the bosses go on foreveeeeer (am I doing something wrong? I'm taking down their guard bar all the way and then going for powerful attacks). No completely fussed on the game, but apparently the series gets better as it goes along so I'll give the sequel a shot after a break.

Higurashi: When They Cry
- I don't play many visual novels, but this is one from my favourite anime, so why not. It's so good to see this presentation of the story...it has more depth than the anime and manga, though it can have too many of the club activities that are just there for filler. Still, I'm nearing the end of the first arc (the other arcs aren't out yet) and got to say that I've loved it. Gonna record some more when I'm feeling better. Work is way too much for me right now with this man flu.

Currently I'm in the process of going through a game thats quite dear to me. That being the Mass Effect games. Say what you will about the ending of ME3, but the story told in these 3 games is fantastic. I absolutely love these games and enjoy playing through them all. 2 is hands down for me the best of the series though.

Anywhoo, I'm playing through ME1 atm. I dont remember it being like this on the 360, but holy fuck is this game buggy as hell on the ps3. It's terrible. You get stuck on stuff, it freezes, glitches, its ridiculous. This is the only game I own that does this. None of my other games act like this.

I still love this game <3

been playing type 0, not long since platinumed it, still have a few things left to do before i actually 100% the game itself though. dunno why there is no trophies for some of the harder stuff to do! really enjoyed it, just got a bit boring playing through the story a 3rd time in quick sucession, but thats my own fault for binge playing it lol

and ive been playing the expansion for ARR. Its really good so far! the story already feels much better than what we started with, i found it a bit dull. heavensward is really cool so far

I'm more getting ready to play a few things, but here we go:

Yoshi's Woolly World
- I highly recommend this to anyone with a Wii U. The amount of charm and the OST are to die for :monocle:. Not to mention the creativity within the levels (and outside of them), along with the amount of collectibles and stuff to do to 100% the game...it's pretty insane. I'm currently trying to 100% worlds 3-5 before starting the final world (world 6). I wonder what happens if you collect every single thing 0_0. Mario games normally have like an extra special world or least a really nice congrats screen :lew:.

FF4 PSP - I beat the main game just the other day and have to say that it was much easier than both the GBA and DS versions. Much quicker too, 'cause auto-battle sped up the battles a lot when you were level grinding. Also, the last boss was simple this time around when I was only at level 60 with the default party. I never went for the optional dungeons...but I really can't be bothered.

FF4 PSP: Interlude - This one only lasted me 2hrs 22mins, but it was alright. Very bland compared with the main game. It felt like when developers throw out some DLC that's rushed and doesn't add very much to any of the main game. The dungeons didn't feel different enough, even with their attempt to make them different, y'know? I'll be moving onto the After Years after I play something else for a bit...too much FF4 going on lately lmao.

And now I'm at that point where I need to decide on my next game. I bought this digital game off the 3DS estore called "Attack of the Friday Monsters", because it looks so nice and sorta relaxing (despite the name of the game). It also has artwork from...oh god, what's the name. The guy who drew for Professor Layton and Ni No Kuni. Bah, it'll come to me later. Anyways, I'll either be playing this next or starting KH2 HD (finally).

Right now I'm split between two main titles.

Dark Souls 2 : Scholar of the First Sin -- Having already done Dark Souls 2 on the PS3 this was kind of a no brainer for me (Been a trophy hunter makes me kinda greedy). So just about halfway through NG+ right now.

Final Fantasy XIV -- I fell in love with this game all over again haven't left since I began back in late November 2014.

Other than that I dabble with other games to keep me distracted, Star Trek Online and Defiance[PS3] are the other major MMO's I play though at the moment I'm waiting for a certain event to begin so I can plough a decent amount of time into the game. Driveclub, Infamous First Light and Trine 2 are among some of the others.

Final Fantasy VII

Yep... I never really finished this game, I made it maybe half way... so I decided to start it all over again, I played maybe 3 hours so far and it's pretty fun, the bad graphics isn't actually a problem. Ah memories..

The thing is I'm casual gamer, not having so much free time I'm gonna play 10 hours per week MAX. But it's cool, it's gonna be a long term thing.

Playing RPGs over the longterm can be so fun. Really makes you appreciate each bit more :). Keep us updated about how you find it; I always love to know :lew:.

----------------------------------------------

As for myself, I'm actually playing:

Bravely Default - I'm only at the intro, but it's absolutely stunning. The opening cinematic is the typical great stuff from Square. The job system is being brought into the game slowly (about 5 hours in and I've got a choice of 4 classes now: freelancer, white mage, black mage and monk), so you really get a chance to experiment with each class as you go along before the next one is given. The interaction between the varying personalities in the party make me giggle more than most japanese stuff. The voice acting is grand. The OST so far is pretty darn incredible, especially the world map theme. I love that you can alter the encounter rate at any time from 0% up to 100% (50% being the standard amount, if I remember correctly). The speed up option (or even freeze battle (not to be confused with pause game)) are very welcome for leveling and even standard battles. The artwork for the first town and world map are soooo noice too! The town looks like a painting while the world map has such deep colours...can't wait to see if there's a snowy area 'cause that could blow my mind.

Until Dawn - I've actually finished this twice for two endings (one was natural, with 2 survivors, and one was an all death run). Now I'm collecting the odd trophies by selecting episodes and stuff. Got to get those two trophies involving Chris and Ashley and then that's those wrapped up. Next up will be the all surviving trophy and a few for all the collectibles. I'll do all that in a single run. Should be a plat then! :lew:. I love the game for what it is, but after the plat, I'm not sure I'll touch it again until I've completely forgotten about it and randomly notice it in the draw.

That's about it for now :monocle:

I've been alternating between FFXIV and Destiny: The Taken King... haha. Mostly the former though. I will admit that Destiny isn't half bad... if a bit overpriced. Can be fun >.>

Still need to finish MGSV but I don't think that's happening any time soon. Maybe over summer holidays. It took me forever to get to mission 16 or something

I'll keep you updated then ;) I saw some dudes playing it on twitch and it made me wanting to play it again, final fantasy VII being one of the most important games of my teenage years

Also a french woman translated all the dialogues in french directly from japanese (the official french translation is pure rubbish, based on the english translation that was not so good either). Some dudes made a mod out of it and it really makes the characters more rounded, giving them more depth. That was another reason to give it another try :D

Other than that, all the games you guys are currently playing makes me considering investing in a ps4, but that would mean buying a TV aswell... aaahhh >_

At the moment I'm pretty much alternating between Folklore and Batman: Arkham Origins.

I didn't expect Folklore to be such an interesting game. Not only is the story intriguing and complex but the game play is well realised and makes good use of the Sixaxis motion control capabilities. The music, artwork and characters are all top notch and instantly grab the attention.

Batman: Arkham Origins is, so far, a satisfyingly meaty game with good story and pacing of execution, coupled with a good number of side quests. Gotham City becomes free to roam very early on in the game which I find refreshing and pretty nifty having played plenty of games where free roaming comes pretty late, if at all (e.g. Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy XIII, Tomb Raider, etc.). The combat system is decent albeit a little frustrating at times. My Batman looked pretty foolish while I got used to it. :lew:
