I've only taken a liking to this song recently. The lyrics just hit it right on target for me, currently. I'm not sure how long this band's been around but they definitely sound good. It frustrates me how I can't find, much less download, the file. -__-
 
Rip Her To Shreds - Blondie

I love their earlier work =D This and X-Offender are the standouts though, and my favourites from Blondie's debut album.

Losing My Religion - REM
The lyrics are interesting and help to convey the sadness of the song. They show the dilema that the singer is in. The guitar playing and drumming is good and solid but not stand outish, which puts more emphasis on the vocals, which is the main focus of the song.
 
This Ship's Going Down - Voltaire

Love this song... Essentialy about pirates on a ship, caught in a storm, realising that they're all going to die, but just saying heck to it all and enjoying the moment, getting merry and drunk while they go down. Enjoy the moment and all go together!

One of the best from his new album.
 
Aren't You A Little Pervert Too? - Edguy

Tobias Sammet has to be one of my favourite male vocalists, and I love the satirical twist he adds to a lot of his songs. This one in particular has some...interesting lyrics.

Just remembering when i went to see them live, it really get's the crowds going this song is amazing, powerful vocals and a powerful beat to it, it always makes me feel joyful.
 
Default - Wasting My Time.
I heard this song in the car a few weeks back and now I love this song all over again. This the only song like from the band. I need the music to keep me awake today anyways.
 
Within Temptation - Final Destination

I've only just recently started listening to Within Temptation (thanks to my friend).
The band is incredible. I've never heard anything like it. Although I prefer the song Memories. Final Destination is a pretty extreme song. Lots of gothic metal there.
 
Broken Strings - James Morrision ft. Nelly Furtado
I find myself getting quite addicted to this song xD
It's not brilliant as it seems to become quite repetitive and I'm not really that keen on either artist, but some of the lyrics do amaze me. :-)

Lola - The Kinks
The chorus is quite catchy and so is the opening guitar riff, but some things are quite stupid like spelling out cola and lola.
I think the first half of the song is better than the second.
 
Nightwish - Slaying the dreamer

Im listening to it because it came next on shuffle. Nightwish is my favourite band and Slaying the dreamer is an awesome song with a great bridge and an amazing riff.

I *heart* this song!

I love the whole vampirish / shakespearian feel it has to it. Definitely their best song so far. I never used to like them as much until this song!
 
Taro Iwashiro - Closing In Upon The Enemy.
All the music that I am listening to now is from the Red Cliff soundtrack I just got and I love every single track on it!
I am kinda disappointed they didn't add the Zhou Yu and Zhuge Liang Guqin duet on the soundtrack since it was played during the movie.

Lol, I don't know why I'm listening to this song. It's pretty old I know, but something makes me listen to this song. I can't quite put my mind to this. It's just a good song I guess.

Album: DISSIDIA Original Soundtrack
Rate: 9/10

This is one of my personal favorite themes on Final Fantasy VI, I like the sound at it reminds me a lot of Boss fights on FF titles, and the remix version of DISSIDIA is excellent and very well improved. I'm still hoping The Black Mages do their own version sometime later.
 
Taro Iwashiro - A Hero And A Boy.
I love the solo flute in the track, has a nice and soothing melody which calms me. Too bad it's under two minutes long... I could listen to this over and over again.
 
There's A Riot Goin' On - Sly & the Family Stone

One of the best albums of the 70s. It occupies a paranoid, pessimistic mindset, and it has a real murky brilliance to it amidst the bleakness. Soul/funk music has rarely been better.
 
Nightwish - Ghost Love Score
Album - Once

Came next on shuffle. But an epic song none the less, from the chanting and wailing to the lyrics and music. It all comes together to form one huge epic song.
 
One Winged Angel - Nobuo Uematsu

I do not have any particular song preferrence, so i chose this out of pure boredom.
