[V5] What are you currently listening to?

Calvin Harris feat. Kelis- Bounce

How can you not love this song...I love the message of it. Getting over someone can be one of the best things you'll ever do for yourself :griin: I see Rihanna is getting into the dance scene and now Kelis...I love it :inlove:

Locust - Machine Head

Oh god I love this song. that guitar and that drums are just eargasmic. The four second drumming in the first minute(0:50-0:54) is just awesome. And this song is just overall a fucking awesome band. :jay:

Inme - So You Know

Met the lead singer of this band on Wednesday, and just remembering him got me back to listening to this band, and I just love this song!

Rihanna - Cheers (Drink To That)

Love this song!

For the most part of the video Rihanna actually looks human again with her natural hair and normal clothes.

Awesome song! It feels to me like the song has a Summery vibe for some reason. XD

Cheers to the fricken' weekend
I drink to that, yeah yeah

Don’t let the bastards get ya down
Turn it around with another round
There’s a party at the bar everybody putcha glasses up and I drink to that
I drink to thaaaaaaaat.

Selena Gomez- I love You Like A Love Song

Someone kick me for listening to Selena Gomez :wacky: Its weird, I've heard this on the radio a few times and I never really started liking it until a day or so ago. She has such a pretty voice, and I love the lyrics. They are so repetitive but fitting. :jess:

Shereen - Katter Khery

Yes, it's an Arabic song. Afterall, I'm Arabic. :P Anyway, this is one of the old artists I used to listen to her songs when I was a kid. I love her voice, and her lyrics are at least better than all of the other Arabic artists, excluding the old ones Fairouz etc etc.

Maynard's side project came out last week with another album and man does it focus fire some of the large culture issues. Though aside from it, it actually had some pretty peaceful music. Amazing song.. a lot of good "musical" value in this.

No direction but to follow what you know,
No direction but a faith in her decision,
No direction but to never fight her flow,
No direction but to trust the final destination.
You're a stranger til she whispers you can stay.
You're a stranger til she whispers that your journey's over.

^This.

Yeah, it just popped on the radio for me, and now I'm on youtube putting it on repeat. Has a great amount of eurotrance, pop, and good vocals to lure you in. >.<

Jimi Hendrix -- Red House

I envision this to be what gangsters and criminals cruising in low riders listened to on their 8 track before rap music was invented. :argor:

Itsumo Nandodemo (feat. Blood Stain Child & Claudio Ravinale) - Imaginary Flying Machines

I absolutely LOVE the Princess Ghibli album, it amuses me to no end that Studio Ghibli songs can be done in a melodic death metal style so well; I actually prefer some of tracks on here to the original versions. Spirited Away isn't my favourite Ghibli movie, but this is quite a nice song, which sounds better in this style, in my opinion. The vocals are much better.

New Dawn Fades - Joy Division

I really like Joy Division, one of my favourite bands.
The song has a superb bass line, it starts off the song and sets the tone for it. Like most of their songs it is fairly bleak, but beautiful. It's slow as well, it's quite like a dirge. Nice lyrics too, 'A loaded gun won't set you free' being the standout one.

Unholy Warcry - Rhapsody of Fire

One of the first songs I was found from these guys. I will admit they've lost their touch somewhere from their "the Frozen Tears of Angels", but I do have faith in them. This song specifically is just awesome. Leon's vocals are so great, and the guitar solo that Luca does in the middle... :jay:

And Alex Holzrwath on the drums is great. Such speed is eargasmic. I still say that Luca Turilli's guitar skills are just..wow. Overall a great song. Sir Christopher's voice as narration is the icing on the cake.

Tori Amos - Glory of the '80s

It took me a while to like this song, and now I totally love it. It sounds very much like an older sister to Talula musically, and that is quickly becoming my favorite track of hers. Love the harpsichord, and wish she'd use the fucking thing more. If NoH had had it, I'd enjoy it so much more.
